Rant ahead...

So get this. I am at my aunt's lake house which is out in the boonies and doesn't get 4G (or even solid 3G).

There are people sleeping in every other room in the house (including the living room) so I am confined to my little bedroom with both children. My son is awake and for whatever damn reason gets mad at my boob. He will take a pacifier or his bottle, but he fucking hates my boob right now. I have no idea why. Normally he will take the bottle and the boob without issue. So here I am pumping at 1 AM because I have no other way to feed him right now.

So he is making noise and my pump is making noise, which means that here in this little bedroom of mine my DD is wide the fuck awake 5 hours past her bedtime. She has not slept a wink.

And if that's not bad enough, my new phone (I got it last month) has developed some issue where neither the bluetooth nor the wifi will turn on no matter what I do. Everything INCLUDING a factory reset fails to fix the problem. The phone has to be replaced because Motorola/Google are apparently either massive failboats or they hate me on a personal level.

Sooo, like I said before, here I am at 1 AM pumping with all the apps wiped from my phone (aforementioned factory reset) and no way to get any of them back (aforementioned unresolvable wifi failure and no 3G or 4G connection), which means I can't even fall back on my trusty Plants vs Zombies 2 app while I pump. I CAN'T EVEN KILL THE ZOMBIES, Y'ALL.

@Bluebird2318‌ My wifi stopped working too! I have an iPhone, and the guy told me it's probably the wifi whatever thing INSIDE of the phone. I have to take it to an Apple store, and the closest one is an hour away. Anyway, sorry you're having such a frustrating time!

@edoliesmom That really sucks! Mine is an Android. I imagine the guy you spoke to is right and that it is something inside the phone in both our cases... I have no idea how it can be a software issue at this point. I've tried everything my DH suggested (he knows cell phones like the back of his hand). He is going to call customer service for me tomorrow and hopefully get a replacement. I hope Apple is able to fix the issue for you!

@MrsStanton87 I'm sorry.

My DS has had a few days/nights like that in his time as well and it's incredibly frustrating to say the least... I hope both of you get some sleep soon.

ETA: Have you tried getting him to fall asleep on his belly? If gas is the issue sometimes that helps. Once he's completely out you should be able to flip him onto his back without waking him.

Nope. I'm pretty sure I got a notification either today or yesterday that something was posted there, so I'm not really sure what changed between then and now. I do know that 4 other admins were added the day of the GBCB to make sure things were "fair," so I guess they decided I wasn't allowed to be there anymore.

For the record, I am a new admin of the FB group but I have been completely MIA the last week dealing with my injury and have no clue what is going on either here or there. I am completely lost as to why people were deleted or whatnot. I am just tired of the perpetuation of the conversation of the bump vs the FB page. It seems like a line is being drawn and I don't like it and I don't understand it but it isn't my world, I just live in it.

Wow at the FB situation. If it's true, that's incredibly pathetic and it reeks of hypocrisy. I hope it was unintentional, but given the state of affairs I somehow doubt that.

I don't get the Bump vs FB thing either and I'm sick of it as well. There was never any line drawn here. It existed only in the imagination of a few.

It sounds like someone has a queen bee complex. Or I guess it could be multiple someones. I have no idea how the FB admin stuff works or what kind of authority it takes to kick someone from a group like that.

I just don't get it. Let the people who only want to post on the FB group do that. Let the people who only want to post on TB do that. Let the ones that want to do both do both. JFC, it isn't that complicated. There's no harm in it. There's no reason to kick anyone. This crap is really fucking old.

And FTR I have no problem with "Bump-exclusive people" or "FB-exclusive people" or "Bump/FB people." I don't think any group as a whole is responsible for any of this. Seriously, post wherever you want and do your thing; it's all gravy, baby. I do have a problem with whoever is kicking people and creating MUD where there doesn't need to be. Get over yourself, whoever you are.

I'm actually glad the topic came back up... Not for the drama but because for quite some time I've been wondering why I was removed from the group. I even sent Aviola a message (about a week or two ago when I first noticed) asking about it and she completely ignored it. Because of that I thought the group no longer existed. I may not have posted on there as frequently as others (or ever) but I didn't see much of a different between the group and here. I liked being in the group (especially with my current internet situation) because it's quicker loading Facebook using my data than the bump app and I was able to keep up with everyone in some way. I'm kind of annoyed that I'm fb friends with a lot of those gbcbers but they thought it ok to remove me from the group.

I really don't think anyone from the fb group was the snail. The snail was talked about there as well and everyone agreed that the insults from the snail were over the line. I don't think the snail was a cocoesque collective. By her posts alone I think it was a single angry bumpie with a bone
to pick.

Yea. For a short while she was all "if you're not nicer, (Piney) I'm gonna show you screenshot pics of how some of the people in the fb group feel about you because you're mean." Something along those lines. This was before she crossed that line with swerb and was finally banned.

This is what made me think Av was Snailypoo - that convo ended up with Snail saying it wasn't on the FB group, but on people's personal FB walls. Who did everyone have to add as a friend to join the group and would see the walls?

Also, everyone saying they "know for a fact" Snail isn't so-and-so... c'mon. Did we learn nothing from GC (or ANY AE that's outed themselves anywhere on the Bump)? Denying you're an AE or acting pissed/annoyed with the AE doesn't mean you aren't the AE. You can only know who an AE isn't if you know who it is.

Very true Jelly. Unless whoever it was outs themselves we really don't know for sure. I was just sharing my thoughts. For all we know the snail was Swerb herself. Now wouldn't that be the ultimate Kaiser Soze moment

I breastfed without a cover in front of high schoolers. I'm a bad mamma jamma.

I may have a cloth diaper addiction. I need to stop spending money.

I feel like a shitty mom this morning. OG has been the worst sleeper this week, maybe 2 hours at most. My DH doesn't get up with me, in fact he sleeps on a different floor in the house.

I lost it last night. She was crying after being fed and just wouldn't settle. Nothing I did worked, she just cried for 45 minutes. I shook the swing while she was in it and yelled at her. So I got him up and left her out there for him to deal with.

I just woke up, 4 hours later with rock hard boobs and realized he took her up to our sound proof game room. I feel like crap I couldn't handle her last night.

Sometimes you just get to the end of your rope and you need a freaking break. I can't even count how many times when she was at her worst I snapped at her to shut the fuck up and I had to just walk away and breath.

We were TDY as a group and each night was a different person's turn to be DD. My night, I drove the guys to some normal bars, a karaoke bar, and then Peaches.
