    I listened to Kojo Nnamdi while I ate my disappointing Wendy's and now I am pretty sure I will never let L participate in any sports ever (the topic was athletes and concussions).

    Words: what buttering a baby WOULD feel like. I don't actually know what buttering a baby feels like because I haven't ever buttered a baby!

    My dd's summer camp had a "field day" of sorts yesterday. They had a bunch of activities set up and one was a water slide. Except they covered it in VEGETABLE OIL instead of water.... that's loads of fun to get out of her clothes!

    I just called a client by the wrong name in an email (literally a couple of letters off, but still).

    My AM was on the email and totally called me out.

    I feel like a jackass.

    Why did they not use water?
    I plan to ask the same thing when I pick her up tonight.

    Ok so this buttered baby vs raw chicken convo has gotten a little too wierd for me, so I'm going to answer @peanutbutter question, GOTI.  I don't remember who I stole that from.  

    Anyway I was on the eliptical this afternoon and thank god I was the only one at the gym becuase I started jamming to Sissy That Walk.

    Well now I'm worried. Office manager didn't show up for work today, and hasn't called. This is not totally unexpected from her, but she's been in pretty bad shape the last couple days. Her mom has called here twice today to see if I'd heard from her. She's not answering her cell or her house phone. I really, really hope she's okay. She lives with her fiance so I'm hoping if she wasn't he would have at least called her parents, but who knows.

    Honestly, I don't think that's my place. Her parents are aware of the situation, and I'll help in any way I can if they ask (and I told her mom this), but I feel like they should take the lead here.

    Wow! Well DS and I ran a few errands and it seems thats I've missed a lot. What I've gotten so far from the conversation that's taken place here, is that we, Parenting folk, have a lot say in regards to choking/buttering chickens and babies.

    This topic leaves me slightly confused.

    Also...my kid barely ate breakfast, totally skipped lunch, and passed out in the car on our way home. He didnt even wake up while I transferred him to the crib. I intended on giving him a later lunch before nap, but he wasnt having it. Huh.
