my stomach real-life hurts just thinking about it. shaken baby syndrome is horrible regardless, but how do you handle that when you have your own baby at home? sorry for such a heavy emotional burden, talla love

Im a pediatric nurse. We run a large rehab unit at our hospital, so unfortunately, we see our fair share of shaken babies and 'non accidental' injuries.

So LO rolled from back to belly today! I was irrationally proud. At first she was all smiles because I was encouraging her but then she realized it resulted in the dreaded tummy time so she went into meltdown mode. We shall see how soon she attemps it again ;-)

I'm not one and done, but we are likely done, so no more bmb craziness for me. I'll be on A14 4 lyfe, even when you all move to your new bmbs and desert us.

So I just went tanning (I know skin cancer) and after a few minutes of laying on my side jamming to my "summer hits of the 90's station," I suddenly felt a wet spot. Apparently my position was compressing my boobs and I leaked a huge milk puddle all over the tanning bed.

Both of my girls are plotting to kill me by taking turns waking up. Really ladies?! I will buy you both ponies if you go to sleep and stay there!

On a side note, creepy internet hugs to all who need them. I briefly read through the drama but was just confused, so I gave up trying to be current on what's going on. I feel like the new kid all over again.

It irritates me when people say that babies eat bottles. You don't eat milk, you drink milk. Then I realized I always say "he's hungry, he needs to eat" or "he's such a good eater". FUCK ME, I'm a walking contradiction.

In my little world, poor Carter woke up screaming and trying SO hard to poop. It's only been 2.5 days but it is heart wrenching and I desperately need to take that pain away! He's been asleep for a while but I can't go back to bed because I just keep hearing his troubled pushing and cries echoing in my head. Motherhood... Is a real mother sucker.

I am also really sad because I don't remember what it was like being pregnant. I feel like I didn't cherish any thing and now my boys are all grown up and can't poop and I can't do anything about it!!!

You girls are so sweet. I couldn't sleep last night and your kind words made me feel better. We woke up early to give her extra cuddles, and my husband just left to take her to the vet.

I plan on having lots of snuggle time with LO today.
