Apparently my DH started chewing tobacco again. He quit years ago as a wedding gift to me but I know he still does it maybe once a year when playing video games with friends. My DD has found a can of it before that was DH's friend's and I flipped my shit. I'm irrationally mad at him for this. I find it repulsive, and I'm also pissed at him for bringing that crap into the house, where dd could find it. She's into everything! Andplusalso, I'm disappointed in him for picking up his bad habit again. Aside from being gross, of course, it's terrible for his teeth and mouth! I just told him, not very nicely, to get rid of it because I didn't want that shit in the house. Other than that I guess there's not much I can do. I'm not his mom and I can't tell him what to do, but I can ask him to be considerate of what he has within reach of our 2 yr-old!

I think I will go to the mall today, even though I have no money to spend (other than hundreds of dollars to bru). Maybe it will motivate me to get in shape so I can buy clothes with my next pay check. Or maybe ill end up getting Arby's... Although the most likely situation is I won't leave the house.
Why do my boobs look so good? Then I peed on a stick...
@Teresa1896 my hubby is a Chewer too.... It's so gross and he leaves spittoons everywhere. Oh and with the tobacco taxes here, it's like 24 bucks a tin. He'd go through 3 a week. So basically a vehicle payment a month on freaking chewing tobacco. He's been "quitting" our whole marriage but by quitting he switches to the Nicorette spray which is over 30 bucks a pop every 3-4 days!! He's so selfish when it comes to his habits. It's a frustrating and on-going battle.
I wonder where @thomas930 has been? Hope you're doing ok lady!
Hey! I've been in and out just kinda lurking. We traveled to visit family this past weekend and were really busy. I've also been adjusting to my anexity meds. I started Zoloft last week and this week I'm starting to feel better and even DH is seeing a positive change. I can't believe I waited so long to do something for my anexity. Thanks for checking in on me

Trying to be somewhat productive during E's brief naptimes. Managed to start a load of laundry, start the dishwasher and sweep and mop the living/dining room. Now having some Bump time before she wakes up.
@MadBloom holy crap, $24/tin!?! I'd be furious! My DH never went through that much, maybe a couple of tins a month. But who knows how long he's been chewing again!? Blech. @mamrotu73 my DH doesn't smoke but will smoke celebratory cigars with friends (like maybe once a year at weddings or whatnot). I agree- the smell is foul, although I don't mind the smell of cigar smoke as much as cigarette smoke!

I'm out for 1/2 a day and look at all I miss. My fever of 102.5 finally broke after 9 hours of hijacking my entire body and rendering me totally useless except as a boob. Effing mastitis. Don't let it happen to you! (As if we have a choice?)
Expect lots of catch up responses while I rehydrate the crap out of myself...
Ouch, @PoppySeedWindsor that sounds horrible! Glad you're doing better now! The only time my LO's hands aren't balled up in tiny fists of rage is when he's eating, and then they're wrapped around my boob and side in a giant hug. Totally. Adorable.

Heyyy RTT! I hope everyone is doing well and congratulations to all! Hopefully I'll be on here more often since I'm finally starting to get some sleep. IDK if the RTT still has a group on Facebook, but if it is, can someone PM me? Prayers and hugs to anyone who needs them!
Anyone else have weirdo kiddies who grab fistfuls of boob and push away when they're trying to latch? He makes himself so crazy angry!
Tommy does this a lot towards the end of the day, usually related to has or being over tired. He'll grab and pull off to yell and then try to latch again. Drives me nuts lol
Ditto. Merri goes all bongo-drum on my boobs and snorts around my nipple until she cries or bonks her entire head against my chest. That's when the witching hour and lots of cuddling, shushing and walking around begins...
Things are not great here today. We're in a wonder week and LO is super super clingy/hangry/overall grumpy pants. We just got notice that they're selling our apartment, so we may need to move again. I have to decide whether or not to go back to work by next week (I'm a teacher, so they need to fill my position over the summer if not) and I really don't want to. Daycare in Boston is $$$$$$, so I'll be spending roughly what I'd make after taxes. Gah.
I'm just gonna sit here and cuddle my sweet baby girl and thank God that she's healthy. Really, the rest of the stuff will pass. It sucks, but it will pass.
It's in the 80s in my bedroom right now. Why hasn't anyone invented an air-conditioned bed yet???
Add this to the list of things RTTers will create in our lucrative "Shit Pregnant Women Need" business.
I still say we need to band together and go on the Shark Tank with custom nipple pacifiers, molded like mommy's boob! It's the only thing my kid will suck on....
Sleep number has a cooling bed. We have been considering it, because pregnancy left me so hot!!!

February Siggy Challenge: Favorite TV couple ~ Jim & Pam
Holy balls of terror, I put LO down to sleep last night at 9:30pm, and I woke up this morning at 3:00am freaking out and ran to his crib. Guess who was still sleeping soundly?
Good lord, going from 3 hours as our longest ever stretch to suddenly 5.5 hours was enough to scare me to death and leave me completely engorged. I woke him up, changed and nursed him, and then pumped the other side to get relief. This was all after he slept almost 5 hours on my chest yesterday afternoon (something he never does). Who has stolen my child and replaced him with this sound sleeper?
My bed has like cooling gel or whatever in the pillowtop! I never really notice it unless I sleep in a different bed. I stayed at my parents place and it sucked. My mattress is the bomb. (We splurged with wedding money since we spend like a third of our lives in the thing)
Total fail at getting all 3 kids nap at the same time today. The older 2 were down at noon and up by 2 and Logan finally fell (and stayed) asleep by 1:45.

After a couple of years on TheBump, I think I've figured out the natural up/down progression of pregnancy and parenthood. It is (roughly) as follows:
OMG! I'm pregnant, yay!
Morning sickness sucks. Am I done yet?
Second tri, yay! Progress!
I'm starting to get uncomfortable. This sucks. Am I done yet?
Third tri, yay! I'm so close to meeting my baby!
(Ten weeks later...) "You're never coming out are you? Get the hell out of there."
OMG, labor, yay!
OMG, fuck labor. Am I done yet?
My baby is here, yay! So cute!
Please stop screaming and let me sleeeeep!
Aaaaand that's about where we are right now. Stay tuned for other exciting installments such as "OMG, you are learning and turning into a little person, I love you, yay!" and "Why are you smearing poop on the walls? I didn't teach you that..."
March 2017 September Siggy Challenge: Favorite Fall Things
So much for a good day. Aiden got up from his nap and proceeded to start nursing, then launched into banshee mode. I can't tell if it's gas, reflux or the shots he got earlier that are pissing him off. Whatever it is the feed is started at 3:45 has maybe gotten 5 good minutes so far.
And now he's screamed himself into a snuffling sleep on my shoulder. Poor kid. I hate to wake him but he needs to eat, but I don't want the screaming...
Anyone else's kid move so much in their car seat the can wiggle the straps loose? Mine does. I pull that sucker so tight and by the time we get some place is he isn't sleeping he has pused his chest out so many times I can fit my whole hand under the straps. I'm freaking out...suggestions!?
So can I really exchange boxes of unopened diapers at say, SAMs? Has anyone done it there specifically? I'd love to exchange some of the ones we bought that aren't pampers.
Coooool. All of my nursing bras are dirty and neither of the washers in our ghetto apartment complex are working.
Awwwwwesome.
That stinks! My new definition of "clean" is quite different than it used to be...still wearing spit-up river shirt from earlier with new spit-up x2. I'm here by myself and by the time I could change it was dry and I picked eating or going to the bathroom instead!
I don't mind the spit up or breastmilk splatters...it's the insane amount of sweat I know has soaked into every one of them that makes my skin erupt in zits just thinking about putting them back on. I guess it's good I got mastitis when I did because they say freeballing it helps with the clog.
