I know. The worst part wasn't the knowledge that we may have to replace the entire floor but seeing the look on DH's face. It broke my heart. He carries so much weight on himself about how he believes he needs to provide for us and I know in his mind he was beating himself up because he felt that couldn't even provide a safe (mold free) home for me & Noah. Hopefully my interview today goes well & they overlook my belly so that DH won't be our sole source of income & can hopefully lose some of that stress.

Yeahhhh it's for June 1st. I just know it's going to be the kind of old lady party with like... jello molds with whipped cream and crap like that. I just think if you take over the planning of something like that, at the least you should TRY to incorporate a bit of the Mom in there.

Yes, I'm aware I'm being petty. It's only because it's my MIL. Not even getting an invite in the mail shows me this is her way of taking over and making it about HER first blood grandson. Serenity now, serenity now.

Yea, I know what you mean. I think she should have at least talked to you about it and incorporated some of you in it. Hope once your son gets here she respects your wishes then!

On the subject of baby boners.... DS wakes up with one a lot of mornings when I change his diaper. He throws a fit because he doesn't like it exposed or messed with I guess. If it stays par for the course, I really dread him growing up because he is going to have a reputation and all the sluts are going to be pursuing him. Good thing I'm a major bitch to hopefully keep most at bay.

Haha she's been wanting a new outfit so I might drag her out to KOP mall for the day too.

@Literachick - Heh, my shower is also scheduled for June 1st, and I am also the only guest who didn't get an invite. So methinks I'm guessing time and location? It wasn't supposed to be a surprise, but sounds like it might be! (That said, my mom -who is helping out but not a hostess- said something about it asking for people to bring diapers. 1- I said that is the one thing I didn't want to happen and 2- we're CDing. D'oh. )

Had my 4th ultrasound today and the placenta has moved! I'm off all restrictions which means I can finally get some. Last pregnancy I had no sex drive and of course this one when I get told I can't have sex is when I really want it. More importantly, though, I can continue my plan for a vbac. I still have to schedule a RCS *just in case* since they won't induce for a vbac, but I can put it out to the very last date and hope to go into labor and not need it!

I was having myself a pity party last night after this crazy week and wrote on Facebook that I need a friend that lives within 20 miles of me.

The girl I mentioned before that I met through Facebook to start a "mom group" in our town messaged me and invited me to a Mary Kay party and to go shopping with her tomorrow.

Sometimes I really love Facebook.

Niece left Tuesday for home after a week with us and guess what she left behind for me? Her cold. Awesome. Not only can't I breathe through my nose, but it's also running like crazy at the same time. Ugh! Doctor gave me the ok to take Tylenol cold but it hasn't seemed to help today.

I like looking at the wikipedia traditional anniversary gifts and spinning it in a fun way. Year one was paper and I had a tiny book of stick figure people made telling DH why I loved him (literally googled first anniversary paper gifts.) He bought me tickets to my alma maters basketball game.

Year three is... leather! Haha

She has fully accepted that it's a boy, but still effs up the pronunciation of his name every single time. Like it's so hard to remember, so difficult. I wonder if she does it on purpose like she thinks it will have a bearing on whether we change it or not. Nope, sucker is in stone in our minds ;-)

I can't wait to take pictures of this shindig. I hope someone puts a stuffed animal in the tote, I know I'll be putting Brom in there first chance I get for a photo op

My DH told me this morning that he had a dream about the baby last night. She had a head full of dark hair like him, but my face shape and she was the most adorable thing ever. He said he held her up and she smiled at him.

Sweetest thing I've ever heard and it made me tear up.
