  What do you guys think of a canvas painting table at a Baby Shower to decorate LO's Nursery?

  
  

  I'd ask my sister of course (she is throwing one my showers) if we could setup a table with pre-approved paints (my nursery color scheme), a bunch of 4x4 or 5x5 stretched blank canvases and the ladies could paint/design their own squares? I've done the onesie decorating station at a shower a few times and it almost never works out well. Puffy paints should stay in the 80s.

  @LiteraChick‌ That is a super cute idea! Definitely want to see pics if you do it! It will be a special way for everyone you love to give you something personal and feel included in the process. My sister is painting special canvases for our nursery that I think will be special, so I don't want to steal her thunder by doing this also, otherwise I'd totally steal this idea!!

  At my last apt my MW said I probably have carpel tunnel when I explained the tingling going on in my hands. When I had my massage I told the therapist that I had a lot of pain in my neck and shoulders, she asked if I had CT and said a lot of women feel it in their neck and back. Just wanted to share in case anyone else with tingly hands wondered why their necks and backs were SO SORE.

  Several years ago I started to see some specialists because of major neck/upper shoulder/back pain. It was affecting my sleep and workouts. In the end, they only diagnosed carpal tunnel in my right hand. Did they tell you to start wearing a brace at night? It helps!

  Now is about the time in my first pregnancy that I started questioning whether or not I wanted long hair when the baby was hair. Was afraid that he would pull it if it was long.

  DH's busy season is over so his boss gave him the rest of the week off. This is great EXCEPT he is killing my routine! I usually get up, have breakfast (lately a bowl of cereal), watch CBS This Morning then slowly drink my coffee. Trying to be helpful, DH made my coffee before I was ready for it and made too much so I didn't have room in my cup for the creamer then changes the tv station away from the news on to some weird movie. Ugh! I had to just come upstairs to enjoy my coffee.

  Isn't it hard when they're trying to be sweet but they really mess with your routine? You don't want to be upset because they mean well, but it's hard! I totally get this!

  Woke up this morning hearing footsteps and voices. No one is in the house but YDS and he's in his crib. Now I watch ghost adventures, Long Island medium and all that good stuff. So, my crazy ass is paranoid that this stuff is real and that' it's finally happening to me. So I decide to be a dumbass and follow the noise. Well, my neighbor is having work done outside and turns out that's what I'm hearing. So basically, I think it's time to stop watching all the ghost shows and movies.

  Hey, @LiteraChick - that's a fun idea!  A couple of good places to buy canvases on bulk online are dickblick.com, and jerrysartorama.com - the more canvases you buy, the lower the price per canvas!
  
  I use these sites whenever I buy supplies for classes/myself, and they've always been good to me.

  Just went to the dentist. He said my teeth looked great, my gums werent even 'pregnant puffy'. Im not sure what that means. Glad I didnt know so I couldnt worry! Haha

  DH does stuff like that too and it always makes me mad. Then I feel like an a-hole afterward. We got into a fight a few weeks ago because he packed my lunch wrong.

  A lot of times because of hormones pregnant women have red/swollen gums throughout pregnancy that bleed more often. I went last week and even though they said my gums were fine my mouth was more sore than usual afterward. The hygienist said the most painful cleaning of her life was when she was pregnant - like, gripping the chair in pain, even though it was just a cleaning!

  I was given the ok to take tylenol cold & allergy when I was bad during 1st tri.  Still check with your OB, though.

  Thought I made my glucose apt at 1, it was at 1245, and they have called everyone else in the waiting room that was here and some that came after... hopefully I dont have to reschedule that would be a major bummer. Wahhhhh. (at least someone could call me up and tell me!)

  Along the lines of funny amazon reviews, I was looking for a train table for DS and this lady 1-starred it cuz a mattress arrived not a train table. And amazon promptly fixed it. Sooo what's the issue? Haha.

  No he works in state government. His busy season is from January until whenever the legislature gets done.
