I second this! I don't know why people feel entitled to know the name beforehand?! Besides, you may not be 100% sure or you may get to the birth and decide to change the name!

I told my mom, although it wasn't public info. I was 99% sure of the name but thought there was a chance it could change at the hospital. She put it on the baby shower cake (out of excitement, not being crazy or stepping on my toes or anything). She unintentionally outed me and I wish I had just kept it a secret!

3 hr glucose tests suck. I wish I would have known I was going to be stuck 4 times. If I'm going to be poked with a needle, I better be getting a tattoo out of the deal.

My OBGYN used to do them in-office but now I have to go to stupid Quest.

Have any of you turned regular scarves into infinity scarves using bobbypins?  I never tried it because I assumed it would look weird with bobby pins poking out of the back... But I finally tried it and you can't tell at all.  Brilliant! All of my "boring, regular" scarves have been given new life :-)

Just had this conversation with DH:

H: we're on for Easter dinner. They do a short hike after, so are you sure you want to wear a dress?

 Me: I'll do it in a dress or not at all. The only pants I'm wearing for the next three months are yoga pants.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news that she missed it again, but I wouldn't feel right not telling her just so she could think she saw the "first" time later.

I would keep quiet. Just let it go, it means nothing to you, but everything to her.

I concur with this!  I kind of think it's meaner to say something than not say something.  In my case I'd rather be blissfully ignorant and think I was seeing it for the first time

Ditto! I wouldn't say anything. It would crush me to hear that from you if I were her. I can't tell you how many times MIL did firsts with my son just so she could brag to me. It really hurt.

Its going to be really hard to deal with labor AND try to keep my husband from doing something dumb like this. I have much more of a filter when it comes to FB than he does. 

We have discussed that ZERO pictures get posted without my approval (my sister in law sent out a mass text of her daughter's new baby with a big bare boob shot included. Ummm no), so I will have to add this to the list too.

I don't know why I waited so long to install the kindle app on my iPhone. Now I can read in the bathtub without the fear of ruining my kindle (phone has a waterproof case). Now to get off FB and TB and read my book...

I just need to whine about my FWP. DH, FIL and H's cousin have been working hard on my remodel all day, and now that I'm home from work, they're still working. We're not moved in yet but are sleeping here tonight since the cousin is here and there's no room at my SIL's house for him too. I just want to eat ice cream and curl up on my bed, but my bed is in pieces in the garage and it smells like paint in there. Waaaaaah.
