Congratulations @lia619 she is beautiful. Glad you are feeling better.
Looks like Logan and I get to go home today! I recovered really well from the bleeding and everything is looking good now. Logan is slightly jaundiced but they just want us to follow up with our pediatrician on Monday.
~Missed MC at 8 weeks. D&C at 12 weeks on 4/17/13~
Major vent time. My sister is in her 30s and is a lawyer, but works as a director of a non profit. So she's very capable in life. She has 2 kids, a 2 year old and 1 year old. She lives 2 miles from my parents and since her and her husband can't afford 2 full time daycare, my mom watches the younger one 2 days a week. My mom has stated numerous times she doesn't want to do it long term, but so far nothing has been done to change it. My parents also end up watching the kids numerous nights and weekends because my sister has work events and her husband is too busy playing basketball at the city courts and such. I live 10-11 hours away, no family nearby. My mom flew up for a few days to help, but can only be here 4 days because she has to get back to watch my sisters kids. So last night my sister calls and whines to my mom about how much she misses her and how she has no one to watch her kids that night. This morning she calls and talks to my mom about how her marriage is falling apart (this is a every 3 month topic). Can I just have my 4 days?!?

God that's annoying. I'm sorry. Just try to enjoy your mom time.
Hugs and kisses and big loves to all those mamas who had babies last night. I'm off RTT for one night and I miss 8 pages of stuff! YIKES!
Also hugs and kisses and big loves to all the struggling mamas.
MIL just came in town last night. We have lots of walking planned...but first, off to triage for sharp abdominal pain I'm having. Perfect. Just what I want to do on my birthday.
Baby...give mama the best gift ever: 1) Be okay and 2) Join the rest of us in the outside world today. I promise I'm ready.
Went to the store and got everything for guacamole (plus other groceries and it was a good excuse for a walk). I forgot to get chips! Now I have amazing guac and no chips. (
I texted DH and told him to get chips on his way home. I hope he gets the message.
So for lunch, I tried my hand at baked spicy chicken tenders. They are not crispy at all... the breading is kindof falling off in mushy chunks. But, they are still really freaking delicious. I guess that's a win. I just have to eat them with a fork and knife.
I haven't mastered crispy breading technique either. We need some kitchen savvy women in here to let us in on their secrets!
The recipe said dip the chicken in the spicy ranch sauce, then in the bread crumbs, then bake on a pan with melted butter. Supposedly, the butter was supposed to fry the breading in the oven. Instead, the bread crumbs just soaked up the butter and got mushy. Oh well. It tasted good and I wasn't serving it to anyone.
I'm too cheap and scared to buy an actual fryer.
My husband is the breading expert but what we do is roll the item in egg/ milk mixture then bread crumbs then throw em on a hot skilled with some olive oil to get the breading crispy. From there we'll put it in a convection oven to cook the meat. We do that for chicken but breaded tilapia we just cook on the skillet. We don't use a frier.
@katiegummow wow you did a great job keeping those two cooking- they look so healthy and just adorable! Congratulations you should be so proud of yourself!
@Miss504NOLA Congratulations! I'm so sorry to hear that your sister is having health problems. It's so hard to go through anyway but I imagine especially now. HUGS to you.
It's so exciting waiting for the rest of the RTTers to have their babies! Not long now! I was a caboose on A12 so I know what it's like to feel like the LAST pregnant lady on the boards but I will love tit the hell out of all your birth stories! Promise
Dear RTT, I think I love you. In the midst of all of the crazy, you're there to distract and entertain. Through the screaming at 4am when LO won't latch on, after the 19th poop explosion of the day, when ignoring the cluttered, messy hellscape that is my house right now, you're there. Thanks for being awesome. Your reward is this picture of the gassiest baby in the world (which equals lots of smiles!).
I was so crampy yesterday! The nice thing about trying to sell the house is the showings we have everyday, and I'm constantly making beds and vacuuming. It's got to help. I'm gonna beg the doc to strip my membranes at my appointment today.
Am I the only one with an inside baby who hopes her water breaks on one of the 4 times she wakes up to pee at night? I even get up and do a little crunch to see if it happens.
Getting desperate here!
Every time I wake up its a game of is it swass or is it water. Always swass
Definitely not the only one! I keep hoping every time I pee my water will break. But then, I was also just told again yesterday that it is far less likely l'll go into labor on my own because of James being breech. Cue the ugly cry!

My friend was set for a CS because her baby was breech and she ended up going into labor by her water breaking, 2 days early! So no ugly crying for you, missy
OMG that would be amaaaaazing! I guess I won't need that knitting needle after all...
41 weeks.
Plus 10 1/2 weeks directly before this pregnancy.
I'm 51 1/2 weeks pregnant.
I'm going to be pregnant forever.
Me too, me too! Well, technically I'm 38 1/2 weeks now and made it to 11 weeks right before this. I told my FIL yesterday that I am officially ready to be done being pregnant and just hold my baby. Of course, I haven't reached my EDD yet, so I guess I don't really have the right to complain.

Yes, you most certainly do have the right to complain. You poor sweet Pgal ladies, I can't even. That's a long effing time to be pregnant.
Probably gonna peace out for a bit ladies. Between my house being a wreck and having a ton of shit to do, being miserable, and being tired of all the complaining (which, I totally get), I just need to step back a bit I think. Maybe lurk for a while.
Unacceptable. Life without Swerb gives me the sads.
I was sitting on the couch, eating dark chocolate M&M's, drinking milk, and watching Big Bang Theory. The show ends, and I go into the bathroom to shower. I get undressed, kick off my underwear and immediately started coughing. This wouldn't have been an issue if I didn't have a full bladder. As it is, by the second cough I'm spraying urine on the floor. I quickly dangle my ass over the toilet, as DH has left the toilet seat up. I'm still coughing and with every cough, I spray. Then, my stomach gives up the battle with keeping my dessert down. I cough up my M&M's and milk, some into my hand, the rest onto the floor.
That's right ladies, I'm an adult, soon to be mom to two, and I just peed and threw up on the floor in about 10 seconds flat!
Oh hun!! I hope you know that I feel a huge amount of sympathy for you...
And right now I'm laughing so hard I have tears rolling down my cheeks!
Maybe it will put you into labor!?
Alas, no labor for me...yet.

Being hit with a severe vacation bug 2 weeks before my EDD is a cruel joke. :-w
Right?? I was just telling my SIL how much I want to fly out to D.C. and check out the cherry blossoms and eat tons of sushi! Alas, still pregnant and still a long plane ride away.
We're doing pretty well here - grandma is loving on Aiden right now. I'm going to aw a photo of DH from last night which makes my heart explode, and one of the little man this morning. I'll do a birth story eventually, but for now let's just say it was nothing that we expected!
Thanks for the bday wishes everyone! Triage went fine. Baby is totally a-okay but I have three dislocated ribs on my right side and microtears in my xiphoid cartilage and abs. Ya hear that baby? THERE IS NO MORE ROOM IN HERE FOR YOU TO GROW!
I had four nurses come into the triage room just so they could check out my ribs because they've never seen anything like this before. At least I got to feel like a celebrity on my birthday?
MIL came into town last night and took me to triage, which was really nice. Hubster surprised me with flowers and a vegan cupcake, brownie and cinnamom roll waiting at home when we returned from triage.
Took a looooooooong ass walk with MIL. So far only feel period like cramps and no real labor.
I wonder how many of us will end up a 2016-2017 BMB together??
Or 2015.....
)
@fireflygirl12 and I were on the same BMB with our first babies, so I was pleased when she got sucked into the RTT madness.
DH and I are done with babies now though, so I'm just going to be over here putting my feet up and sipping alcoholic beverages to celebrate all your BFPs. B-)

This will be me too but I know I'm not nearly as awesome at posting and keeping up to date with RTT as @ColleenSwerb. Good luck getting that shiz done lady.

I couldn't convince dr to strip my membranes. And I'm only 2cm dilated. But I wasn't any cm dilated until I went into labor with my other two, so it may actually mean something? Either way, the induction is scheduled on the 22nd which is two days before my due date so I don't have to worry about going any longer than that. Anyways, since I'm sure nobody really cares about the state of my uterus, here's photos of mini cupcakes and my cat.
Could you imagine breast feeding and being pregnant at the same time?!!? Bleeeeeeergh. I don't even have my first out and I already think that sounds horribly awful and hard. One of my friends is doing this right now. Her babies will also be 11 months apart. Ay yi yi!

Happy birthday @PoppySeedWindsor
