Yeah I'm 39+3 and he's just as active if not more than normal. My friend, who has had two kids in the last 3 years said the movement slowed down 2-3 days before. And my mom just said 'oh if he's still really active then you're not close yet'. If she weren't 500 miles away I would have TPd her. So I'm not sure if it's an OWT but it seriously discouraged me.

Eh, DS1 was super active leading up to labor, as well as the day I had him. Don't listen to them!!

I'm actually keeping my legs crossed and holding this baby in until at least Wednesday. My mom flies in on Tuesday and I'd really like for her to be here for the birth. My MIL comes in by train that same evening to take care of DS while DH and I are at the hospital. I'm not due until 4/19, but DS came right on time, so I'm not expecting to go over. If I go early, that means juggling DS between daycare and a friends' house until MIL can get here.

Watch, this stinker will still be on the inside past Easter.

Yep.
Tomorrow puts me at 41w. (Ignore my ticker, we never officially changed the due date because it was only off by 4 days, and conceiving right after a mc can make math confusing.)

Heck, I would rather not go into labor prior to 39 weeks but I am still jealous of the outside babies! Happy about all the A14 babies of course, but jealous too.

Heyyy everyone! Miss Madison is finally here. It only took six hours as my labor progressed quickly. She was born five days early, but managed to weigh six pounds and fifteen ounces, despite my appetite and nausea struggles. I'll provide more details later. I need plenty of prayers and good thoughts though. My sister who recently had her own daughter, had a heart attack a day before. I was stressed and then my labor started. Today, we found out her heart was severely damaged. After Madison was born, we found out surgeons had to perform open heart surgery on her immediately. She was fine after that, until they performed some tests later on. A cardiologist called my mom and I to inform us of her critical condition. They finally stabilized her, but she is still on a ventilator. I'm really concerned, since we are in Raleigh, and my sister is in New Orleans. My mom is leaving tonight, but of course I can't. Please pray for her, her son, and her new daughter and my whole family really. I can't deal with anymore bad news.

I feel ya. I'm pretty sure everyones due dates were/are after mine. Sad panda over here :-(

I had a melt down last night about all the outside babies even though my EDD was only yesterday. I know it's not a magical date but I really felt like I was going to have this baby by now

I knew being the caboose was going to suck but it really isn't going to be easy seeing all of these adorable pics while I could still be pregnant for another month!

Stopped at Steak n Shake to pick up dinner. Got the steak but no shake. At the time my brain was telling me "Nah, you don't need a milkshake, just get the burger and fry". Why did I listen to my stupid brain?

I've been hanging in the 3-4cm range for almost a week now. With DS1 I went from 0 to 10 super fast, so this is just confusing me. I definitely feel like a FTM right now.

A Steak n Shake is this awesome burger chain that serves "Steakburgers" and homemade milkshakes in all these awesome flavors. Soooooooo flipping good! You need one of these in your life!

I've had a cold for the past four days. It freaking sucks. From what I've heard the typical reaction to losing one's mucus plug is thorough stomach-turning disgust, but after all the cold-related mucus that I've been coughing up the past few days I'm pretty sure all my mucus plug would get from me is a "Whatever, bitch. I'm not afraid of you." I am glad I'm getting it out of the way now though. If I had a cold while I was in labor, I would rage.

But 1/3 of the way there=silver lining? I wouldn't care so much if I didn't keep having hours of 3-5min contractions and then all of the sudden nothing. WTF baby?!
