I want on the labor inducing hormones train too. I spent yesterday evening crying in the shower then got too hot so cried on the bathroom floor for like an hour.

Having a two year old going through a phase from hell and being 39 weeks makes me feel like the worst mother in the world.

I EP'd for quite awhile with DD. I got most of my information from LCs/nurses at the hospital during my stay and then from ladies on here after I came home (Breastfeeding board covers EP too). I got a lot of great information both ways!

I'm still pregnant but will be EPing and I've gotten most of my info from the exclusive pumping board on baby center and from the book "exclusively pumping breast milk" by casemore.

@nikki912 Hang in there! You're definitely NOT the worst mom in the world. There is SO FREAKING MUCH going on with your body that you have ZERO control over. It's a bitch, plain and simple. Give yourself compassion. Keep on crying if you need to (I did the same exact thing you did yesterday in the bath then got too hot and cried naked in living room until I passed out for two hours) and have your SO give you a big fat hug. Maybe curl up with your little one and watch a movie?

You can do this!

@colleenswerb I don't get the eating thing and that Dr. sounds like a douche. You're going to have a spinal and be awake right? While someone might puke during a c-section, which sucks but isn't the worst, there is very little risk for aspiration, so I tend to get stabby about the whole not eating thing

@honeyzoo check out spinning babies!

@dani+california maybe that is what my baby is waiting for too?! I don't have any pregnant pictures with me and the hubs.

My in-laws are starting to annoy me with questions about whether I'm having contractions or the state of my cervix. They were all 2-3 weeks early, so they seem to think that's the norm. I'll probably end up going late and kind of almost want to out of spite, which is stupid

I live in NOLA - and this weekend is my favorite event ever!! French Quarter Fest. I am dying to go, but if anything happens, it will be the biggest pain in the ass to get out of the cluster fuck. I can't decide if it's worth the risk or not. We may just go early in the AM and grab some breakfast and people watch and then try to get out before the crowds get too thick.

I think that at this point, just the fact that our SO's are not as completely uncomfortable as us, is enough for us to want to TP them on a daily basis. This is the case even if they are being helpful and supportive.

I just now packed my hospital bag. Car seat base is in one of the cars, not the other yet. We put together our stokke sleepi (I don't know what else to call it. Crib/bassinet) got my nails, toes and hair did (I don't really know why it matters but it's fun) And I'm on my way to the store to stock up on groceries, diapers, pet food and whatever else. I'm thinking all the preparedness will jump start my ute. Let's do this thing.

This is so disgusting. Our cats used to bring mice in, but they would just let them go, not eat them. Gag!

I think Indy would be scared of an iguana. He tries, but always fails, to catch squirrels, birds, and cats. Sometimes, he can snatch bugs out on the air though. He likes to bug hunt from the top of our couch.

Haha! My girl had a serious grudge with the iguanas because the ones who lived in her favorite tree to lounge under would pee and shit on her so if any of them were clumsy enough to fall out she'd catch em.

Don't have iguanas here, but she also catches - and eats - skinks (little ones), birds and the other day she caught a rabbit!!! It was half her size and she couldn't kill it. We had to take it off her and shut her in the bedroom for half an hour.

And I agree with you about living in a place people spend thousands to vacation but don't get the same things!! I hate hearing about all the yummy treats and junk food you guys have that we just don't - and even if we did I still wouldn't have easy access to because we live rural.

But I do have a beach right across the road, here is the view from my bedroom...

Got told my back/hip pain and lack of feeling LO's movement is due to my obesity today. Funny story, I'm still 10lbs LESS than when I got pregnant and I never had back pain before. Then after 7 high BP readings and 2 blood draws, I got sent home with my baby still inside me. And cried during the walk from L&D to my car because of the back pain. I don't know how much longer until my body just gives up. So tired of being fat. So tired of being pregnant.

Ambition is waning as exhaustion rises.
Put away 2 loads of laundry, got dressed, battled the ants that made another appearance in our kitchen (I hate those little pests!!!!), and put a new garbage bag in the bathroom can.

Maybe "going for a walk" will just have to consist of me taking out the trash and getting the mail...
I could be convinced to sit outside and read, but I'm a HORRIBLE person because all I can think is that if I sit on the porch for any length of time our handi-capable neighbor (probably age 60?) will try and start a conversation with me. And I just... Can't. I can't right now.

Being a bigger girl myself it makes me so angry when people just blame my weight! I know my body, if I'm telling you something is different - SOMETHING IS DIFFERENT! Listen to me, don't just look at my "dress size".

Sorry rant there, but I feel for you!
