You too! I went to the bathroom earlier, and while I washed my hands (different room from the loo) dh opened all the doors and windows in the immediate area... Not so subtle!
Angel baby June 2013, DD born 22 April 2014, BFP 10 Sept 2015 - Due 22 May 2016
I want to go for a run sooooo badly! Don't know where this urge to move is coming from, as it's painful to go faster than a slow waddle at this point, but I want to goooooo! I'm counting down the days until baby is old enough to go for a jog with me. Until then Hubby better get used to me leaving him with the baby so I can go for a jog!
I totally know the feeling. I love clearing my head and how I feel after a good run My goal is to sign up for a 5k to motivate me!

Count me in on this one. DH acted like he was gonna die when he walked into the bathroom today. Yeah, dude, that happened like, five times today, and my ass is less happy than your nose so enough with the dramatics. It didn't cheer me up much when he wanted to show off that he has been reading and tell me it must be a sign I'm getting close to labor. My due date is less than two weeks away, everything is a sign I'm getting close to labor.

Me too! I'm thinking August would be good. Something to get me out the door considering I've done exactly, oh, nothing by way of formal exercise this pregnancy.

Ditto! I have a feeling that first run that we're envisioning is going to kick our asses really hard bahahah
Trying to time contractions is a mind fuck. I'm ok with being woke up from pain from an intense contraction. I'm even ok with being wide awake trying to pay enough attention to my body to time said contractions. I am not ok with laying around wide awake waiting for that shit to come back.

Ugh I'm so annoyed. Pregsomnia is lame. DH woke me up by deciding he needed to shower at 1:30, and he did not care to be quiet about it at all, so here I am wide awake when I have to get up and go to work in the morning.
I just had a fear that people might start posting threads about 'how much weight have you lost so far'. I dread and look forward to the snark all at the same time
I'm going to tell all the weight loss drive by posters that I'm still pregnant, but already started losing baby weight, so there :P (I wish I could gif)
I have a random question. I'm on mobile 99% of the time and all of the threads are organized by most recently posted vs. most recently commented on. Any idea how to get them to be organized so it shows the most recently commented on? I know there is a way to do it on the iPad.

The RTT runners who are still around after all of the outside babies come should have something like a check in (monthly or maybe every two weeks) to keep us in check or something like that. My goal is to train for the Boston Marathon next year, I'm dying to get out and run again...

I'm usually mobile too (iphone) and for me it's automatically organized by last one commented in first.
I wonder if I change my settings on my iPad if it'll transfer to my iPhone. I don't see a way to choose this option directly from my phone

Someone mentioned we could all connect MyFitnessPal apps/accounts to a similar effect as well. Of course, I'd have to get one and see how well it fits my life, but worth a shot.

This sounds great - I will definitely need the motivation!
First of all, a huge congrats to the RTT outside babies that joined us in the last few days!!!
I was a little preoccupied! ☺️ Meet Callan Joseph. Born 4/3/14 at1:12am. 6lb 15.2oz, 19 1/4 inches.
I was on a break from parent/teacher conferences around 4pm, when my water broke while I was peeing (pretty convenient!) lasted until 8:30 med free, was 3cm and decided I needed the epi. Just after 10pm I was 10cm and fully effaced. Did a few practice pushes, doc decreased the epi, then at 1:12am he arrived!
Being a mom is the absolute best feeling in the world. Now I know what I've been missing out on! The love I feel for this little guy is overwhelming.
First time home alone with my 2 year old and newborn, it's only for about a hour or so but I'm still stressed. How am I going to do entire days in a week??

I'm pretty excited to bust out the MFP and my Zombies, Run! app again.
Well they made me schedule my induction today. Hopefully the sweep he did helps and I won't need one. But there had been zero progress so I'm not getting my hopes up. I'm such a downer today....

How many days do you get in the meantime to see if you make any progress?
I have till next Wednesday which is 41 weeks. While I love my doctor, he will not let you go past 41 weeks. He wouldn't even let me schedule it for Friday of that week. He had a still birth after allowing a woman to go later so I think that influences his opinion. I know induction isn't the worst thing, it's just not my plan so I'm kinda bummed.
To all the RTT runners -- I feel the same exact way! I was logging in 70 miles a week before getting pregnant and now I walk about 20. I can't wait to lace up my sneakers and hit the pavement both with and without baby. I'm going to try to do a 5K on May 17th. Hoping I don't totally die!
Sucks being a caboose. I'm already noticing a lot if crickets around here. I need to get a hobby or have this baby. Too much time on my hands.
I'm not a caboose but I feel the same way. I was actually able to be active and social this weekend with the hubster but now it's Monday and I'm back to biding my time, watching Netflix and waiting for baby to come.
I've already made 5 quilts for baby and can't get myself to make another one...
Not a caboose either, and the end is near (next Tuesday at 8am), but I am so miserable. So sick of the hours of painful contractions, only to have them just end.
I neeideas of what to do today. It's supposed to be 70+ today, and I would hate to waste it by sitting on the couch all day. DH is off work too. Obviously I can't go hiking or biking, but I might just end up laying in the hammock reading Baby 411 if I can't think of anything.
I won't be able to exercise for six weeks postpartum, per doctors' orders. Stupid complications. I can't wait to get out walking and use this BOB we bought!
I thought six weeks was pretty standard?
There's a woman at my box that came in for a wod a week after giving birth. As much as I look forward to working out again, I plan to give myself plenty of time to recover. Even after a natural birth with no stitches, I cant imagine it would be fun to stuff newly engorged and leaky boobs into a sports bra and drop down into a burpee. I also think it can be dangerous to go too early because it can be discouraging. I remember panicking after my surgery when I suddenly could no longer do a single pull-up, but within a month I had exceeded my old personal record.
Its interesting because I was so devastated when I had to give up my pre pregnancy routine, but I feel like I now have a healthier perspective (more balanced) and surprisingly my body hasn't let me down as I initially feared.
Im not criticizing anyone for being anxious or excited to get back, but just remember to be kind to yourself. All in good time!
Cervidil started things up, contractions are getting stronger on Pitocin but aren't natural yet. Got up to walk around some, and been Skyping with my mom in Colorado (she's ridiculously excited, lol). Got some work yet to do, but the ball is rolling!

@aviola329 hopefully you get some skin to skin! If not, the LC I took a class from suggested getting amitotic fluid wiped on you (they brush the baby on your chest before he is taken to the nicu) and you don't shower. That way when he comes back to you he'll still have the familiar scent. Maybe that's an option?

I'm hoping this storm system coming in may have some effect on my nightly contraction date. I never seem to get past first base!
