Decent, but there are better brands out there for your dog. I just looked up the ingredients list and meat meal is the first ingredient - typically I would advise people to stay away from "meal." But it appears there isn't corn, wheat or soy in the first 6 ingredients so it's not as bad as Walmart shelf crap.

That's reassuring. I let SO talk me into buying it for our Shar pei/Puggle mix because it was cheaper. I looked at the ingredients and didn't see anything that had red flags, but I get so nervous about switching brands because I know shar peis have super sensitive skin and the food can have a big effect on that. We had lots of problems getting our newfoundland on dry dog food when I was in high school because everything made her skin scab up.

If I could be sure the bathroom counter would hold me, I'd be giving serious consideration to peeing in the sink so I don't have to deal with the agony of lowering myself to sit on the toilet, and then hauling myself back upright again. SPD, you can go fuck yourself.

Pee in the shower standing up? You'd end up taking a lot of showers that way though... I sit on our bathroom counter all the time without a problem. I sit in the center and swing my feet into the sink whenever I pluck my brows and such. So, I'm sure it could hold you to pee.

I do this at my parents house whenever I'm there. Reading this just made me homesick in a serious way. Weird.

Made index cards for DH for in my hospital bag: patient info (DOB, height...), insurance info, prescription info, physician info, and my anti-birth plan (a few small requests). I may not be able to answer questions trying to breath through contractions... feeling very accomplished and prepared.

Took a warm bath, and when I was finished I laughed at my reflection. My hair is all piled on top of my head in a bun so it wouldn't get wet and I looked like a sumo wrestler. So, naturally, I embrace it and manipulate a towel around my hips (sort of) and get DH's attention before doing a sumo stomp.
He's been laughing for 5 minutes.

I had a baby! No longer a cabooser my little man decided to come out 25 days early. So in love what an amazing feeling. Can't wait to get him back from being monitored:) thank god for you ladies and this board because I was way more prepared then I thought I was even though I didn't take a birthing class. I appreciate you ladies so much. So many emotions!

Slept for two whole hours. Hubster has been working late so he fell asleep on the sofa. I feel awful waking him up but eff man, I can't stay in this bed any longer and my computer is about to die. I'm so frustrated and out of my mind anxious about everything...because that's what I do at night -- I freak out about EVERYTHING, from our finances to the weather to my parents' health and so forth --I don't know what to do.

I know it's a moot point by now (being four whole days into April) but this last month is just killing me. I hate not having control over my body. Hate not having control over when my baby is going to come out. It's all so freaking overwhelming that all I do is cry. ARGH!!!!

So sorry to hear that.

As far as being too anxious to sleep- have you tried reading a book or something in bed to distract your brain until you drift off? I like to read but I usually get to a point where the book falls out of my hand because I'm starting to doze.

I hope you can get some rest and ease your mind too.
