Making my first attempt to AW pics of the twins. I've never been able to figure out how to do it on my phone and I just got one spare minute to try the desktop. Only 6 weeks late....
I managed to get out of the house by myself today! It was only about an hour, but my parents came by and watched the twins and DS1 while I ran out to pick up a couple things. It was weird being able to just hop out of the van and head into the store without juggling carseats and a toddler. It was short and we all survived (even my mom & dad!) so maybe we'll be able to have a date night for DH's birthday at the end of the month - small goals, right!
Has anyone noticed a change in fussiness in comparison to the amount of caffeine you consume?
Nope. I drink a kcup worth of cOffee every morning and have since pregnancy. I may have even mixed up bottles of milk and given him coffee milk at night but he didn't act any different.
I posted that pic of DH and Mia sleeping on FB, shortly after sharing that article "9 Things to Never Say to Parents of a Newborn". What does my cousin's aunt do? "Best advice anyone will give you: sleep when she sleeps."
No fucking shit, Sherlock. I was gonna go clean the whole house at 3am when she finished eating, but I guess I'll take your advice and try to get some sleep instead. Fuck off. -___-;;
I didn't say any of that to her, but damn I want to. ::end rant::
My munchkin is too cute for me to stay mad at anyone for too long. I just look at her tiny boopable nose and I'm all better.

Loooove this advice.
No, I really thought I was going to sleep while the baby was wide awake. I figure he's good just hanging out on his own for a while.
Mom problems... When the baby is sleeping on you, you don't want to get up and do anything to disrupt but if you wait for them to wake up... You are not going to get it done either. Hmmm
I'm hungry!!
I had this problem today. I ended up trying to shift her to her bouncer. Mom fail. She woke right up.
On this group on Facebook, a woman is asking what's wrong with her ten day old, it keeps waking up through the night. So there must be something wrong with it. Fml. Everyone's being so friendly, I wish there was some march mommas to tell her how ridiculous she is.
It's a baby. That's what's wrong with it.
Shut the front door. Some people need a swift kick in the ass.
I have yet to go to the fb page
But fo' real???

@FarmBoysWife dudes are stupid, I'm sorry. MH was an ass this morning too, if that helps a little? I hope everything gets better. ::hugs::
@Laura8388 good luck with shots! Me isn't even a week old yet and I'm already dreading her shots.
Holy shitballs. I actually got a two and a half hour nap with Mia this morning. FX me waking her up to eat and get a diaper change won't piss her off enough that she won't go back to sleep before her Nana gets here. PIP because I can.
I'm still convinced LO has a food allergy. The pedi didn't listen to me and dismissed my concerns while prescribing a cream for baby acne (which did work) and telling me she spits up because she's eating too much (liar freaking liar). The list of symptoms is growing, so I'm going to someone new. She has mucousy poop, congestion, spits up a lot, and has a rash on her upper chest and back. Aren't those classic food allergy symptoms??
Anyone here cut out milk while BFing? How do you go about it? Do you start with the obvious things and not worry right away about reading every single label?

@Laura8388 It's so sad watching them get their shots, but it sounds like he handled it pretty well! Not looking forward to doing that with the twins this afternoon :-(
Apparently today is my husband's ex-girlfriend's (only serious relationship besides me) birthday. I know this because his mother (who I cannot stand) left her a message on Facebook so it popped up on mine wishing her a happy birthday and saying she hopes her day is as special as she is. This comes after she chatted up the ex basically saying she wonder about the what ifs and if they had stayed together and blah blah blah.
boo her! She sucks. I have nothing else I can really say here. That's just so rude and thoughtless.

4weeks old tomorrow, and my kid has decided to scream for 90% of his awake time today. Ugh. Colic? Or is there something else wrong with him? Ugh, I just wish I knew how to help him.
Attempted to take our own 3 month pictures today. DH HATES when I do them without diapers on. I told him it would be fine...well there has been lots of spit up, poop, and pee! He got peed on, I got peed, spit up, and pooped on, and for our furbabys birthday...she got pooped on! DH may be a little mad at me!
The new recommendation we've been told is not to pretreat with Tylenol but you can use it right after. Something about it can interfere with building immunity. I don't know if that varies between practices though.
We had immunizations today too, the nurse (and nursing student) were shocked by how loud Audrey was! Rhys slept through all of her noise and got a rude awakening when he got the first shot :-(
Crying to break a mama's heart. Now they're both passed out. I'm hoping it's not too rough a night.
Anyone else's boobs get all hurty when they're "filling up"?.... I'm not engorged... it's just every couple of hours for about 15 seconds or so my boobs are all, "HEY! HERE'S SOME MILK! WHERE'S THE BABY?!?!"
Colton had a bath a rub down massage with lotion a nice warm bottle of breastmilk and is currently sleeping in his crib! Idk if I want to shower or sleep!
@WisconsinCheese12 first of all *hugs*! I'm sorry you have to deal with that. Did you try to look up the specific antibiotic for possible side effects?

RIP Dr. Irving Fishman - 10/1/19-7/25/10 - thank you for holding on for me.
You made my wedding day complete.
