What kind of person gets mad when a new mother asks them to lower their voice because her newborn and H are still sleeping? "How am I supposed to communicate with you? Whispers?!?!"
Bitch, my hearing is not impaired after giving birth, my vagina is tore up. You'll fucking live through talking in less than a maximum volume voice for two minutes.
I would rather eat dirt for lunch than have you piss of MH who is catching up on sleep (poor guy went 38 hours straight without even taking a catnap while I was in labor) and wake up my daughter who is sleeping literally less than six inches from where you're standing.
@WisconsinCheese12 I pump and drive with a hands free bra (I made it by cutting 2 holes in a sports bra!). I stop somewhere and connect, then drive and pump for 20-30 minutes, and stop somewhere and disconnect. Good luck!
I'm so behind on laundry, I pulled a dirty nursing tank out of the hamper today and am wearing it. It has spitup on it from God knows when. Guess what I'm doing today!

Baby wearing is a genius concept. I have accomplished so much in the past few days.
I just bought a moby because I can't find my ring sling and I wanted something I could put both twins in. I tried it out with DD today and she passed out instantly. I can't wait to get the hang of nursing in it so I'm not pinned to my couch all day.
Ugh... My mom is giving me (via email) the whole "well we used to let babies sleep with blankets and on their stomachs and no one we know died of SIDS" argument.
#facepalm
Worst logic ever....
My mom has told me Jackson ate 1 once then 1.5 ounces. I pumped 6 ounces total earlier, and my output this time looks lower. So I guess good news is I'm meeting his needs, bad news is pumping at work doesn't give me as high a yield. Womp womp. Andplusalso, shouldn't he be eating more?!
@mrsdahamm like FBW said, i mean i am formula feeding but sometimes mia takes 4oz at once other times 1.5 and then thirty minutes later she takes another ounce/ounce and a half.
DS1 fought his nap today and there wasn't much I could do about it with both babies wanting to nurse all day long. When this happens we usually try to get him to bed early. The babies have been nursing for 2 hours so I thought DH would take care of DS1, right? Nope, it is now 9:00 and he still isn't in bed (normal time is 8:00-8:30). WTF Are You Doing?!? He is a bear if he doesn't get sleep, will probably wake up through the night, and will wake up early. DH doesn't hear any of the kids at night so guess who this affects; that's right, the mama with twins on a 6 week growth spurt with 2 doctors appointments I need to get this whole crew to in the morning.
Ugh, sorry, long vent. I just don't know what he's thinking sometimes.
Is anyone interested in a work out check in now that most of us have outside babies? Or is everyone too soon pp? Probably hey. Don't you have to wait for 6 week check?
I think there already is one? And yes, i think most have to wait six weeks. Edit: i also would be interested in one, even though my extent of working out is going to be yoga and walks with Lo.

I would be. I didn't work out much before but that's because I was comfortable with my body. Now, not so much. I would be down to have a thread for PP weight loss & working out support.
Got to AW my success... We've tried the cribs in their own rooms for naps here and there with not much success. I tried again this morning and they cried and I went in like 20 times to put nuks back in, rock, soothe, etc. I feed then again and tried again....with success!!! There is hope for the cribs actually getting used!
@WisconsinCheese12 so I have to ask because I'm horribly curious, but how old is DH? He looks so young! And not in a bad way, my husband looks young too.
We're in this weird transition phase where newborn diapers are getting to tight, but we are peeing out of size ones.
Newborn outfits are almost too little but 0-3 swallow her whole.
Its frustrating.
Same here! I found that the Huggies size 1 diapers work. Pampers size 1 are too big. But we have to pull the fastener tabs so much that they touch. So far there have been no leaks!

Hes 24. We are both 24
That's what I was thinking! But knowing he's 24 makes him look his age. Also loving how he's snuggling baby cheese

So annoying! The twins are drowning in 0 - 3 month stuff today because all their newborn clothes are getting snug. Grrrr.
We're having issues here too. Owen is way too long for preemie but he's still not quite 6 lbs and drowning in newborn. Keira fits a little better. The worst part now is they should almost be in different sized diapers. I refuse to buy more newborn and just fasten the 1s as tight as I can on Owen.
Where do I buy a moby for the best price? I know there are baby wear experts here somewhere.... I just can't remember who they are. I also remember they are expensive? Well my bscmil said her exercise class teacher had her baby in one and now she seems like she wants to buy me one... I'm all for her spending lots of $ and not me lol.
1. BFing is awesome. It hurts, but it's awesome. Especially when Mia eats so much she puts herself to sleep. I now totally understand the "porn star boobs" comments I read before lol
2. I feel awkward posting on TB now. ._____. I don't even know why.
3. I did not expect to feel this good two days PP. This is awesome.
I'm not even 3 weeks back on my antidepressants and tonight I'm feeling really low. Ugh.. I might need to ask for an increase I dosage when I go back to the docs in 2 weeks
*hugs* that's the worst and I hope this is just a small dip for tonight only. I am in the same boat and need to make an appointment. I miss my old meds with the higher dose. Also miss my Ativan. I hope you feel better.

I just made the decision that i may need something for anxiety.
@amdecker1016 I take ativan and it helps a lot. I also used to take Effexor XR for depression and anxiety and I loved it (thats what I want to switch back to). I don't know if you are dealing with any depression, but the Ativan was just strictly for when I had anxiety attacks and it was great.
