  Bonus to living closer to the front of our complex? Shorter walk to baskin robbins. See, we walk there to be healthier....
  It works somehow. REALLY hoping I get to go into labor in the next 24 hours so I can at least try to attribute it to that walk.
  We debated between an ice cream cake, individual cones, or 2 quarts. Opted for the 2 quarts for days of enjoyment.

  I like birth stories that sound like real life a few that have been posted sound like fairy tales with the way they are worded and annoys me to no end. No love tits or congratulations to the fairy tales.

  My labor will start with a trumpet call and a rainbow shall burst forth from my cookie. A unicorn will whisk me to the hospital as I laugh and wave at passersby. I'll be comfortably seated on a throne with plush blankets when the second trumpet calls, then my baby will tap dance out of my cookie. I'll smile as the little champ gets breastfeeding right on the first try and I'll be offered clothing in 6 sizes smaller than my pre-preg size to wear home an hour later. A large falcon carries us home in the sunset.

  The one that made me roll my eyes is that one that included the detail about having a 9 pound baby and having only gained 17 pounds during the pregnancy so she lost 1/2 the baby weight already. Just seemed a bit arrogant/AW to include that in a birth announcement. Whoop-ti-doo good for you.

  DH went back to work after 3 weeks. I'm a fucking wreck. My baby hates me. I KNOW he can sense how nervous I am but I can't calm myself down. He won't sell he's spent the last 2 hours nursing and he won't go to sleep.

  Text conversation with one of my sisters-in-law.
  
  Me: How did your labors start out? Were you ridiculously nauseous? Every move I make, I feel like I'm going to hurl.
  SIL: Oh, yeah. Couldn't even keep water down. Was also restless as hell and couldn't get comfy for anything. Only managed to sleep for 10 minutes at a time, but had weird fucking dreams regardless.
  Me: Aside from the dreams, that basically sounds like my entire day today.
  SIL: Yeah... I'd make sure your hospital bag is packed, lol.
  Me: ... peachy. Guess I'll try and finish that without puking, then.

  TP to my DH. It's our first night home from the hospital and he agrees to take a soldier from work to the airport. The airport is a hour and half drive each way! And they left at midnight. Horrible planning. I'm doing night duty alone, but he will still be exhausted tomorrow morning too. Oh and I can barely stand because my c section recovery is going awful. Tonight is amazing

  Oof. Hi RTT. Baby woke me up and I realized I haven't checked in all day! This little one is doing barrel rolls and it freaking hurts!!!
  
  I wanted to say I've got a nuts week ahead. DH is taking the week off and little sister is coming into town to help us get all of MIL's stuff and property sorted, plus all the baby stuff we've been putting off for two months because of hospital visits. Just wanted to let you know that if I go a bit dark it's not *necessarily* because I'm in labor.
  
  Deidre, congratulations on having a son! I'm so happy for you!
  
  I want to open the Walking Dead thread, but DH and I are three weeks behind. We have just not been watching tv lately and it blows.
  
  I don't know what else I missed, so hugs all around! And yay to all the babies! Sorry I'm so scattered, but that's just me right now. I need sleep.

  Ugh @Tferr02‌ that really sucks. he should have known better! I'm worried my SO will be like that because whenever he talks about having the month of April off he only talks about all the things he's going to do like garden and workout and stupid shit, never about the fact he's having a kid.
  
  
  I'm not getting off this treadmill until this baby comes out. I wasn't impatient for the first 39 weeks, now I really don't want to have to go to my doctor on Friday. She needs to come out now.

  I grew two cup sizes over night. He's a much better nurser than DD was. he's settling a lot of my BF anxiety.

  Having my first cup of raspberry leaf tea this morning at 35w5d. When I asked for it this morning SO's eyes got HUGE and he says "we're not ready for him to come yet!" HAHA! Apparently he thinks this stuff is going to make the baby shoot out by this afternoon. )

  Soooo grumpy this morning.  1) SO went to a concert I really wanted to go to last night.  2) I couldn't watch the Walking Dead finale without him.  3) Then when he came home and got in bed, proceeded to snore like crazy so I spent the night on the couch. Grrr! FML!  I want to punch all things.  Work is going to be awesome today...  X(

  Luke and I survived the night without DH. I balled my eyes out when he left and Luke could sense how upset I was. Made for a stressful couple of hours until I got my shit together! We survived!
  
  I learned how to double pump and feed a baby! Now I need sleep!
  
  Also, I'm sad we're all having babies. I don't want to board to die down. I'm happy for the babies and mamas but I'm going to miss people!
