My bf=my hero. He is in total poppa bear mode right now. Rescuing me from all the annoying family drama. I seriously couldn't imagine carrying anyone else's baby.

Ugh.  I'm still coughing, and now I feel like I've cracked a rib every time I cough... Tomorrow is April, Peanut is officially getting notice tonight.  Too bad I just can't see eviction sex trying to happen - this cough is a major mood killer.

@thomas930‌ I feel you! I was almost in tears today leaving the dr when he said I hadn't progressed any more than last week. I was in a funk when we got there and that just made it worse.

I'm trying to avoid it and the surrounding days. Just because it's my birthday and I want LO to have his own day. My family also likes to lump birthdays so I always had to share a party with my cousin and my grandpa. I didn't mind but I never felt it was my day and I have always felt birthdays should be the one day a year to celebrate you.

I totally agree that sharing birthdays stinks! My brother and I have the same bday (he is one year older than me) and I hated not having my own day growing up. If my LO waits too long she'll be so close to my niece's bday that my family will try to lump them together.

YAY, this is going to be my first 40-hour work week in the past few months. I've had the major sads not being able to keep up with RTT. 

Lots of hugs and lovetits to all the RTTers!!!!! I can't believe all the new babies already!

Sorry about the lack of progress. ((Hugs)) hope your day gets better too.

I don't even know where this mood is completely coming from but I think its all the lack of sleep and that I'm starting to feel really overwhelmed with everything that needs to get finished in the next 2 weeks. I kinda wish my mom was coming to town earlier....she'll be here next Wednesday and should be able to help get my house under some type of control before baby arrives.

On spring break this week waiting for baby to come.  It is so nice to be done with work but I need to stay busy and keep my mind occupied.  For me that includes watching lots of tv and eating cold cereal on the couch.  Nesting never did hit for me.

There is no way I can keep up with you guys over the weekend, so TPs, hugs, shared snarks, congrats, and laughs. Today I wish I had one of those really bad Drs who would induce me just because I'm uncomfortable. There was a point where I'd side eye anyone saying this but....I'm almost 37 weeks, I'm sure she's ready to be born. I mean, she FEELS big enough. Rainbows only, y'all.

I hadn't tried the teepee things. Glad I didn't get any of those.

The peeing when the cold air hits him -  does this go away at some point or does this routinely happen until LO is potty trained?

 

DS1 is 1.5 and has quite a bit of naked time around the house without peeing on stuff (most of the time). I think it went away after the the first couple of months. We got PeePee TeePees at my shower, but they definitely don't work. I used our Swaddlebees cloth wipes to cover him up, which I also use to dry off his butt after changing so he won't get diaper rash.

FFMC: I would be OK going well past my due date. I've been really bummy lately that I won't have all the attention to give to DS1 anymore, and I want a few more weeks of snuggles with just him. Plus I just found out that I'm GBS+ (which I wasn't with DS1) and I haven't done any research about it yet. It's making me super panicky.

If it makes you feel any better I had to be induced for pre e but I still had a really uneventful birth. I was really freaked out by induction but mine was surprisingly short and easy going.

I know natural labor induction methods are a big ol' dead horse being beaten with a stick. But I found a recipe for labor cake. Fucking best day ever, don't care if it works. Making it, and SO can't tell me no!

It's not really a mattress, but yes. You will need a sheet for it, but ours was small enough that we just used a pillowcase.

It comes with more of a "pad" then a mattress. You can purchase more of an actual mattress but I am not worried about it. It will work for our needs.

if it says bassinet then yes it comes iwth a mattress but it is very thin so we got a padded sheet to make it more comfortable

I'm going to kill my DH today. It's like he's trying to get me to kill him. He broke our dryer today so he's trying to fix it, right in the middle of nap time and right in the middle of the kitchen. Shocking our toddler isn't napping! Not to mention I can't eat lunch because he has massive parts in the way of everything. I just want to eat lunch and nap! Instead I'm hiding in my bedroom with a fussy baby and listening to my toddler not nap.
