DH was fine, she never injurrd him, just scared him. Turns out she had been on crystal meth (i think thats what you call it, wr call it P) and was messed up.

She was charged but think she ended up in in psych ward? DH never had to go to court or anything.

So that was DH 25 birthday present. - held hostage by a hairdresser...

I've been using Pepcid, which worked great the first few days but has been less effective since. I just ran out, so I'm going to try Zantac next.

@ebie79 if YH still gives you crap about it, I happen to know a child development specialist who does not recommend "crying it out." That babies actually learn to self soothe as you pick them up because they know someone is there for them.

Holy fuck, punch your H in the dick for me please. How old is he? 87?! Who the fuck still believes that shit?! Ebie, there is NO WAY you can spoil a newborn child by tending to its fucking basic needs. 1) they need to be monitored for all the things you said - breathing, spitting up, etc; 2) their needs are limited: hungry/poopy or wet/tired/gassy/freaking out about no longer being inside of a cushy protective uterus and need cuddles to reassure them that they're loved and not abandoned, and help them cope with life on the outside; and 3) they only know one way to signal all of those things: CRYING. Sounds like your husband needs to read a book or two, or take a parenting class. For fucks sake.

Please excuse the bitch out...new Mommy hormone induced rage coming through.

@ebie79‌ : I learned that crying it out shouldnt start until three months old at the earliest (I believe, my memory has been warped by the alien growing in me). Newborns need to be coddled and monitored constantly

DS loves playing with my hair....like his is slightly obsessed with my hair. He is currently laying on the couch next to me but because he can't reach it with his hands he is using his feet. Its a good thing he had a bath last night.

We have settled on a name RTT!!! It only took 8 1/2 months but we both love it:) now were not telling anyone in real life what it is so no one can say anything negative or tell us a bad story about someone they know with the same name that makes me second guess if I'm setting my child up to be a drunk or cheater or something.
