    Oh my gosh, I hate having a life some days, I get so behind on this thread and miss the dramz. I'm so tired but I want to read everything.

    Growth u/s went well today, except I am less happy about even having it because of the copay and gas money it took to get there, then the fact that it was really painful to have them put so much pressure on my belly for so long! But she is happy and healthy and face down. And is definitely a girl. I hope I have this kid before my next doctor's appointent (EDD April 5, doctors April 4)

    My doctor told me baby was very big but today I am 38 weeks 4 days and they estimated 7lbs 9oz (i think, i can't remember ounces they said...) so maybe she will fit in her clothes longer! or they could be off by two pounds and shes already over 9...haha

    I don't know how they do the weight, but it was at an u/s to double check growth. The doctor at my normal appointment just said "big" by feeling her back and where her head was. Didn't give me a weight estimate.

    What did you use? I read you can use lube, but it seems like it would be more effective with an oil. I'm wondering if not lube, what can be used that wont give me a yeast infection or cause me to break out in hives.

    @sking72 did they confirm that your fundal height was off because you've dropped? I went from 37 to 34 and my mw just said that it's because of him dropping more, but i've been wondering about it since the same happened to you and you went to an u/s.

    I pregamed my dinner with easy mac and m&ms.  Then I ate my frozen fish patties and more mac and cheese.  Then I followed it up with wheat thins.  This is the point when we realized that our friend's birthday dinner was tonight and NOT tomorrow night so I changed clothes quick, we went downtown and I ate a huge slice of lemon meringue cake.  All the winning tonight.  Except now that I am in bed, all of the food wants to come right back up because there is NO ROOM in my stomach!

    They take the growth measurements from the u/s (head, femur, abdomen) to come up with the weight.  Though the weight can be pretty variable, up to 1 lb off in either direction.

    My mother-in-law passed today. It was quick and peaceful. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers these past three weeks.
