Well we certainly don't have much done but our wall got finished (moms friend painted)! Shower this tomorrow so hopefully next weekend we will have more done!
Finally got the furniture put together, bedding put together and hung up some stuff. The only thing that is missing is curtains and a white chair rail to cover the orange stripe on the wall.
This is over the guest bed that is also in the room. I tried to do a gallery wall look but I need more things up there so I'll be adding some more eventually.

How did she paint the design? Did she free hand it or use a stencil? I want to do something like this on my bedroom wall.
Wow everyone's nurseries look like they are from a magazine!! We just moved into our new (work in progress) house and got the nursery all painted this weekend!!! Can't wait to get the rest of it set up!!!
@rlallen13Ikea! $14.99 each and pretty easy to install - I just picked up some wall anchor screws to use since the shelf holes didn't line up with the studs.

All of these nurseries look fantastic!! Ours is still a work in progress. We're waiting on some Dr Seuss decals that we ordered from etsy and book shelves that will go above the dresser.
nearly finished with the nursery! have to get an area rug, move in the toy chest, hang the curtains my mom made, and a couple other things but we're nearly there.
"We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it love."

@J&NL she used a hand made stencil based on the size of the circles we wanted. She cut out almost all of the circle with the exception of a small bridge to keep the stencil together and then just free handed the bridges afterwards. Took her several days...if you do it may be easier to buy a stencil with multiple circles (Istencil I think has a lot)!
Great rocker, isn't it! I find my husband sitting in the baby's room in the rocker occasionally. It's pretty cute; I wonder what thoughts are going through his head...
This is the progress so far. I have a few more artsy projects to complete. I want to do a strand of fabric cut into triangles and hang above the closet (same fabrics as in the picture frames above the chair) and I want to get a wall plaque that has nobs on it so I can hang some cute outfits on with the wooden hangers. I will eventually change the arrangement of furniture to include an Ikea Hemnes dresser as a changer station, but for now I can't decide on the 8 drawer or the 3 drawer. Any suggestions? I think I want the 8 drawer so she can grow into it...?
In an apartment so can't really paint but wanted a lot of color so put a lot of decorations on the walls. Still waiting on the sheet set and long curtains to be delivered
Oh! I forgot: tip for the crafty mamas? After going to 3 craft stores and finally giving up out of frustration, I bought the unfinished letters from Hobby Lobby online. Great price -- they were running a special and the letters were like $2 each plus no worrying about them not having certain letters in stock.
I'm also in an apartment and can't paint, so I hung the letters with small Command picture hanging strips. They are like Velcro and after a few weeks, seem to be incredibly stuck to the wall.
