@kcp913‌ - Absolutely it calls for cake! We are celebrating 6mos on the 20th, and I fully intend on pulling the last chunk of our wedding cake out of the freezer for it. Then, when our one year rolls around, I can be like "ooops look what happened on accident" and order an ENTIRE new cake in our wedding flavors. MUAHAHAHA!

Went out to lunch with my mom and DH. We got finished eating and the server looked at me and said - "do you want a dessert menu?" And I said "oh no, I'm full." "Are you sure?"

I wasn't offended but thought it was funny how he just asked the preggo lady.
Or he could read my mind because I did in fact, want dessert...regrets.

Hi ladies! I can't catch up! I miss you all so much! Lucas has been naughty and his blood sugar is borderline not so hot. He's nursing like a champ today and levels are starting to stabilize! I haven't slept since 6 am yesterday... Hello zombie. @jellysparkles‌ answering this from a few pages back I just took a shower and was encouraged to get my incision wet.

Also DH is amazing. He has been so good with the baby! He also helped me shower watching blood run down my leg, washed me, and dried me, and dressed me. I couldn't be more in love with this amazing man!

I was dead set on not having my mom in the hospital room with me until this last few days in the hospital. I feel like she has so much more insight then my SO & I on everything and she was so helpful when it came to talking to drs and nurses where I felt like some drs/nurses talked at me and they talked to her. Downfall of looking young I guess..

@HeatherDonovan, I'm sorry you got stick in your HDBD post, of course you can post it! We are NOT Feb14 where only one person can start the post, and only at the right hour! The only reason I started another one (which I admit was probably poorly named) is because I saw that one had turned a bit into a GIFathon (I blame sleep addled brains! most of those posts were put up in the small hrs of the night, I believe) and I didn't think people would post legitimate HDBD posts.

I want you to know that I DO NOT believe that I am the only one who can post early, I was being very tongue in cheek about that, and actually thought everyone else was as well. However reading back it sound like I'm having a moan that someone else dared post early, and I am the only one allowed to.

To my fellow RTT posters, loved the GIF's - @Vinny424 best sheep GIF ever, I am so stealing that. And I just want to add a REAL map to the GIFs

Can't wait till Saturday, I am hosting my 3 yr old bday party and the menu consists of "all the things" I want... BBQ hot dogs, baked beans, mac and cheese, spinach dip, fried oreos and of course CAKE!! Thankfully my 3 yr old likes all these foods...lol

Totally forgot (reminded by people talking about strangers rude comments) I got my first stranger belly touch on Sunday! And I was doing a sales thing so I really couldn't have done anything about it if I wanted to go through with the sale. I really didn't mind it though, I just felt very strange about it.

Also, my mom keeps talking about me going early. Nope. Not ready, I need this 3 weeks and with SO's work, she really can only come a week early. And SO and I thoroughly explained that to her last night. So while on the phone with my mom talking about her coming early, I was like "Well she can't come today because right now all the roads are closed, the thruway is closed, and weather is shit. So I would be having her in my bath tub, by myself, with no chance of SO getting back here in the next day. So dear little daughter, be smart, wait it out" And now I keep picturing how I would handle a water birth in my bath tub by myself while ambulances try with no success to get to my house.

And does he go outside or do you have multiple cats?

Cats won't eat if they have a fever or their nose is stuffy and they can't smell their food.

Sometimes they get a slight fever from vaccines, or could get a fever from a cat/wild animal bite that gets infected and forms an abscess.

If his nose is a little stuffy take kitty in the bathroom and run a steamy shower ( don't put the cat in the shower) this can help loosen things up for them.

Try warming the canned food up. Cats like to be able to smell their food and boy does it smell when it's been warmed up.

He sounds just a little under the weather, hopefully it passes soon. Check him all over for bits, scratches, or lumps.

Edit: saw he does go outside so definetly check for battle scars

No vomiting or coughing. He had herpes in his eye when he was a baby so sometimes he wheezes and sneezes, and I'll take him to the vet and nothing is wrong.
He's had all of his vaccines and from what we can tell he hasn't gotten in a fight. I'll keep my eye out for a cut, but he doesn't seem tender anywhere. I had a cat when I was a kid that got in fights all the time, and I know what to look for, and I don't see anything.
He's also not running a fever. He's not warm anywhere, or crying when we touch him (which is what happened last time when he ran a fever).
I'll try warming his food and see if he's interested....Thank you!!

My younger cats have herpes. I give them a l-lysine supplement on their food when they are symptomatic for about a month. If he doesn't perk up or eat soon I would take him to the vet. Cats are notorious for hiding illness, lethargy & change in eating would make me take in my cats. I hope everything checks out.

They def have herpes flare ups so could be all it is.

I've heard of lysine. One continuing Ed I went to said its not very effective. But we have a few clients that use it and they seem happy with it. Won't hurt them so is worth a try.

Ugh did anyone else have a huge headache setting up their bills on auto-pay? I did it beginning of February so I'd have time to babysit my March bills and make sure the deductions were happening, and so far both Comcast AND Xcel Energy dropped the ball. Idiots. So now I've just been making phonecalls all morning to fix it when all I wanted to do was not have to worry about manually paying bills for the first couple months of baby's life.

Update on fear of phone calls: I called and of course the person didn't answer so I left a message to as to why I was calling. Here's to hoping they call me back. I actually emailed this person weeks ago and they never responded.

Raised my eyebrow at him, he paled a shade or two and stuttered that he must have had the wrong house, then backed down from our "porch" while telling me he was sorry.
