    Ah geez, again ladies with the cussing & name calling. It's really is ok to have a difference of opinion with someone without resorting to childish antics. How old are you people??

    Ok, @newmrsmacc, the headache isn't going to kill me. Your right. The pot isn't going to kill my unborn baby either, & IMO isn't going to harm my unborn baby, at least not in the quantity that I'm using (again, this is MY opinion. You don't have to agree, & you don't have to resort to trash talk to get your point across to me if you respond). I suppose I see it like this: I get migraines mainly from stress, so it seems to me. So if I am stressed, then my baby is stressed, right? And if I have exhausted all other methods of relieving said migraine, & yet its still there, this is adding more stress to me & my baby. SO, I then go to my next option, which is the pot. & a blinding, throwing up, down for the count migraine is now just a bad headache that still sucks but I can at least work around. So I guess that is how I see it as helpful to both me & my baby. By relieving the stress of the migrine from me, it's relieving the stress of the migraine from the baby.

    & for real, don't get all up in arms bc I said smoking pot is good for the baby. That's not what I said. I don't really agree that taking anything, prescription or otherwise, is necessarily healthy for baby, & again, it's not something I do all the time or even very often. But I also don't agree that spending the day (or several days) sick & in pain is good for baby either when there is a remedy that works for me.

    @primrosemama: hot showers & warm baths for migraines?! Have you ever had a blinding throwing up sick migraine? It may remedy your ailment but migraines are totally different from back issues. Admit I've never tried acupuncture, am not sure where I would even go for something like that where I live. Will look into it tho.

    It was discussed with the midwife I used during my 1st & 2nd pregnancies. Obviously she wouldn't advise it. She also didn't advise the cup of coffee I had every morning. When she moved away & I went with my now OB for the 3rd & 4th pregnancies, no, I haven't brought it up with her. I already know what her opinion would be & I already know what works for me.

Because I have some medical opinions from highly qualified doctors who told me a little pot won't hurt. Pot has such a bad rep for what reason? And like I said... they could all benefit from a couple puffs and chill the fuck out... or maybe in their heads... have a drink. Which in my eyes is way worse. So there :)

    Try deep tissue massage but let them know youre pregnant. This is the only thing that cures my migraines too.

There are so many doctors and medical professionals that are not against smoking weed while pregnant. All you have to do is research, interview, etc. Who cares what these people are saying.
    Um, she posted the topic for DISCUSSION, sweetie.  Hence why this thread is full of replies.  And please, share with us your research and the name of doctors that permit the use of marijuana during pregnancy.  I'd love to read it.

    And for the record, the majority of people here don't give a fuck what you do.  I certainly don't.  But you don't post a thread and then get pissed when people respond in ways you don't like- that's not how conversation works in person and it's not how it works here.  

    If you want to smoke pot while pregnant with your kids, great!  Good for you!  Glad to see you're so proud of it that you feel the need to post and flaunt.  Your life, your pregnancy, your selfishness, and you deal with the consequences if there are any.

    But congrats on keeping your kids' health #1!!
    You got a lot of time on your hands I guess. Smoke one and chill out. Maybe then you'll cuss less and stop getting so pissed off. Poor baby. Hopefully your stress isn't harming that poor child of yours.

    My mother smoked pot while pregnant with me and my sister.  The two of us are in our 30's now, hold advanced degrees, have no learning disabilities, and are self sufficient, healthy adults.
