  I love Keroppi. Luke has a Keroppi backpack for daycare. He's much harder to track down than Hello Kitty.

  I can't remember the name of the penguin, but I had his pencil box in elementary school. I went into a Sanrio store and they only have Hello Kitty now. I miss all the other characters!

We rocked acid wash jeans. We rocked body suits and scrunchies. Tiny backpack purses and doc martens. We were the first to use the internet in school. We had Clueless and Romeo and Juliet.   The 90s to me as a young one:
  
  1. Lisa Frank was my Muse. Backpacks, binders, whole kits of art stuff.
  2. Sky Dancers were amazing for warding off my brother.
  3. As soon as they introduced the second generation of MLPs, they ruined them IMO.
  4. When Puppy Surprise branched out to include non canines, I bought an orca. She only had two babies, though.
  5. I was the last kid in my grade to have a computer in our home.
