I remember when I upgraded to a Mead 5 star zippered binder...that was the shit.  Granted I think it was a clearance item and probably not as cool by then...but I still have that thing.  My only Lisa Frank was folders...thats all my parents would let me get.  Everything else was the generic cheap versions.

I had a pink and purple Caboodle. It was the girliest thing I owned at the time and I hated admitting that I thought it was pretty. I was a girly girl striving to be a tomboy. Lisa Frank did me in, though. Looking back, my parents spent WAY too much money on Lisa Frank supplies for me. Granted, I only got them if I actually needed said item but still. 

And on the MLP porn. Yep. Gross. And people go all over the place with MLP erotic literature. Bleck. I love MLPs (especially first generation) but that's too much.

That poem for no electronics at parties is effing ridiculous....big, big eye rolls coming for that one. Honestly, for all the kid parties I've thrown, this has never been an issue. Save the sanctimommy bs for another occasion!!

I would not let my kids take their electronics to a party but you can bet your ass my son is allowed when we are at his sisters gymnastics or my dd is allowed at her brothers soccer.....moderation is key here....
