Ugh. I just wasted a half hour of my life calling down the list of in network medical suppliers near me trying to find one that carries breast pumps. It does me no good that my insurance covers them if I can't find a place to buy one! (Ok, I did give up after the first page... I'm easily discouraged.)

Is Yummy Mummy one of the ones listed? It's a website and it made ordering mine a thousand times easier....
Nope, but I may have to buy online if I can't find a place locally that sells them and accepts my insurance
I have my maternity ward tour tonight and I realized that I've only been in a hospital like... twice, ever. And never one so big as Baylor Grapevine. (Now you all know where to find me) HOW DO I HOSPITAL? What IS a hospital?
I love the Baylor System I've been to several of their hospitals in the area visiting a variety of people (never to grapevine though) and specifically chose my dr based on the fact they deliver at a Baylor (McKinney-so now we're even).
June Siggy Challenge My little Princess BFP#2 7/28/13 EDD 4/9/14 Birthday : 4/10/14 Adalyn Nanette
DD's third birthday is a week from today and I have no idea what to get her.
My turns 3 March 13, I have settled on a scooter, it has warmed up here in Georgia. When we go outside she rides her cousin's scooters and does great on them.

That sounds fun, unfortunately we only have sunshine for, at most, three months. She has a really cool radio flyer tricycle that she loves so I'm hoping she gets plenty of time with that. She's no help when I ask, she just says birthday cake.
I had leftover brown rice from last night, so we are having a vegetarian Japanese curry that I found in the freezer. I have no idea how good it will taste because I apparently forgot to label when I made it :-/
Note to self: all future freezer meals neeeed to have labels!
You guys, why am I such a pansy? My boss begged me to work half days next week because my trainee is overwhelmed with the amount of work... I said I would and now husband and OB are going to be upset at me. It's only half days so I can still day nap.
@KatieGummow Noooooo! Stand your ground! Tell him you reconsidered and can't do it!! You're entitled to the time, dang it, and there are so many women on this board who would kill to have our four weeks of California disability!!! Do it for the Bumpees who will work up to their EDD!! Woman up and tell him NO!!!

Does she have a favorite character? Lay loves Doc Mcstuffins, my oldest picked out a coloring book, several books for her and one of the stuffed characters. She likes to line her stuffed animals up and we read to them.
Decided not to fight traffic for burritos so I will just have to go Friday after getting my nails done for my shower! Cheeseburger Hamburger Helper it is!!
I'm making a recipe that apparently came from a jar of Pace Picante Sauce at one point (I happened to get it from my MIL), called "Chicken in the Chips" - probably the lamest name ever, but it's super simple, and SOOOOO GOOD. Basically you pre-cook chicken and cube it, then stir it into a mixture of cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and salsa...spread half into a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish, then add a layer of shredded cheese (I use the Mexican blend in a bag), then crush tortilla chips and cover the cheese, then repeat the layers. I always sprinkle a little extra cheese on the top layer of chips cause I like it when the cheese browns and crisps up a bit on it. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes (though I like it "well done", so I bake at 375 for about 45 minutes).
And I may have to make dinner a little early. Typing all that out just made me crave it.
Good news! We just got done with our ultrasound and everything looks either the same or better than last time. They actually found her kidney, it's just in her pelvis instead of where it's supposed to be but that's better than not having one at all. Plus she is growing strong estimated at 3lb 13oz in the 66th percentile, and as a bonus, the echogenic focus in her heart is gone. We didn't get to get a good 3D pic of her face because she kept putting her hands in her mouth or in front of her face so no pic to AW. I'm so relieved that they didn't find anything else wrong and that she is growing like she should be! Thanks for all of you for your thoughts and prayers!!

That's great news! So happy to hear it! So she does have two kidneys, did I understand that correctly? What's with these stinkers not giving good pictures lately!?

YAY for having 2 kidneys!! What does the 2nd one's placement do to the functionality? Will it be OK where it is? Or will they need to move it if it hasnt moved on its own by the time she's born? I'm so happy to hear that she's totally fine! Though disappointed that the little turkey is continually being camera shy!!

I called my insurance and they gave me a specific list of providers of pumps that bill directly to insurance. Maybe start by calling insurance first?
We did... They only gave us a list of medical suppliers that billed to insurance and were in network, within 25 miles of me. Apparently they don't know or care whether they offer breast pumps. I suppose if they will pay for it, I can do the legwork to find it. If I have to.

I know, I know.... I am such a pansy. It's hard because I still have some energy left and it would be nice to have that little bit of income... I have an OB appt Friday and maybe she will tell me I can't go back. Two weeks ago I was measuring 38weeks and now my belly is only a couple inches away from the steering wheel. Ugh! So hard.

Feeling pretty good. Mostly laid around at home today. It felt SOOO good to be home and not have my arms attached to a million tubes! Only about 2-3 contractions an hour. Much better! Thank you for asking!
Thanks everyone! So far they think the kidney is functioning because her amniotic fluid levels are normal but obviously it's not completely normal because it never ascended during development. Right now it is down next to the reproductive organs and it should be higher up. They will be able to tell more when she is born and they can do more tests but so far it doesn't seem to be causing an issue. Most of the time pelvic kidneys don't cause major health problems but can sometimes affect the uterus by getting in the way so right before she goes through puberty they will assess what to do. They can remove it if need be. That is so far in the future though and we will have so much to go through dealing with cleft issues that it's not even on my radar. Who knows what crazy things the medical field will be able to do in 10 years!
@KatieGummow I don't know that my belly has ever been that far from the steering wheel! I didn't know that was a thing. I'm not sure now... I'll have to check next time I get behind the wheel. :-? But no, I haven't had to adjust since being pregnant.
@aviola329 Yummm.. I think that would be motivation enough to get up and make it. We had Mexican food tonight too, but not enchiladas! That looks so. good.
@Mamamonzo Mine would have to be Emma Stone or Ginnifer Goodwin. Or both.

33.5 weeks and the kicks have kind of lost their cuteness. I know I shouldn't be complaining because many of you experienced discomfort way earlier on, but ugh, I wanna go back to last week when it was still fun and not so painful.
Why do my boobs look so good? Then I peed on a stick...
