So today marks 4 years that DH and I have been together. We decided after we married that we wouldn't celebrate this day like an anniversary anymore, but for some reason he decided that he wanted to this year by obtaining the day off, and cooking me a nice surprise dinner since we can't afford to go out. (FYI the man NEVER cooks anything but bacon, eggs, and Kraft mac n cheese.)

DS is in the kitchen "helping Daddy", and keeps saying "MMMMM DUHWISHUS!!" over and over again...it's the cutest damn thing! He's right though...it smells AMAZEBALLS in my house! I can't wait to eat whatever they're making!

@jennypenny1014 Thank you for responding. I didn't think anyone was going to.

Thankfully I got a call about 10-15 minutes after I posted that, and they said any time they have to prescribe something to anyone for pregnancy (which they did, iron supplements), then they're moved to high risk. They also said it doesn't mean any complications or anything.

HAHA You're welcome to borrow him for a while! He's been really into helping lately, so it's a lot of fun. And it was very sweet! He even cleaned the kitchen before, and cleaned up after himself when we were done eating.

They made sausage & peppers w/spinach over spaghetti. It really was "DUHWISHUS!" heh

Sooooo we grabbed a drink at a cute little bar before heading to the steakhouse (everything is within walking distance from our hotel). DH had a martini and I had some high quality H2O. Anyway- we hadn't eaten since noon and it was after 6. Our reservations were at 6:45 so we needed to leave by 6:35. DH enjoyed his drink, but by the time we got up to leave, he realized he was completely toasted. ONE drink! We made it to the steakhouse and while we sat waiting to order I had to keep reminding him to just not speak until he got some food in his system. It was hilarious, bordering on embarassing.
Oh my....

I guess no one did besides one person. That's okay. I'm glad everything was fine too. Thanks. I was just feeling stressed out and emotional, but I guess I was worrying for nothing. If I would've kept it to myself for a little longer, I would've realized everything was fine and that I was causing myself unneeded stress. I'm not a "big picture" person most of the time. It's something I need to work on.

So I just got home from my 6 year old nephew and 11 year old nieces bday party. They had this HEAVENLY cake, it was surrounded by kit kat bars and the top was covered in M&M's! Who ever thought of that is a GENIUS!
I ate a piece and then was picking the uneaten M&M's off of another piece. When I got home, my DH looked at my hands and asked me what I had been doing since it looked like I had a ton of dirt under my nails. "No, it's chocolate frosting...". He just stared at me puzzled.

We bought the cookie dough ones and they are as delicious as they look... I even did a quality control survey and nobody fear, every single cookie in the box was good...

It's 3:15 in the morning and it's official-my baby hates pizza... It's like I don't even know her sometimes.

Ha get this, I just had a friend text me that she thought it was "super weird, and slightly needy of me" to have DH attend the baby shower. First of all his name was on the invitation it's his baby too. Second it's a co-ed shower his friends, my friends, aunts, uncles... I didn't know it HAD to be girls only. Who sends a text like that 3 hours before the shower? What a douche canoe.

That is going to be al of us come April/May when we are enjoying our first post-partum drink! At least we'll get cheap buzzes!

I think you should have put "friend" in quotes too. Sounds like a real peach.

Anyone else having ankle/calf pain in isolated spots? At first I thought maybe I'd pulled something, but it doesn't have the deep ache of muscle pain; instead, it feels more like someone's taking a knife and flaying strips of my skin off slowly. It hurts the most when I walk (go figure, with my stupid pubic bones *sigh*) and am walking "normally", i.e. rolling my ankle as I pick my foot up. In order to keep it from hurting as much, I have to walk flat-footed like a duck. It moved a little bit up my leg in the past couple of days, and the paranoid worrier in me got all concerned about blood clots and things. 8-}

Beginning to think that maybe I should just saw off my left leg and get a peg leg. (Total exaggeration, but it's an amusing image in my head, lol.)

Edit for stupid emotes not showing up as they should... >.>

@mamamonzo that woman is ridiculous. My DH came to my chicks only family shower and although he hid in the kitchen most of the time he was super helpful when it came to presents time (ooh, look, a cute outfit with a rhino on the butt! Here, babe, have a mess of gifts and wrapping while I open another gift). Besides the fact that his family threw the shower and they were stoked to see him!

Our mini shower coming up with the folks from work is co-Ed and they are insisting DH come because they love him... And because it will be mostly centered around delicious food, and they know food is our love language.

You are gonna have a great day, you better be rockin those adorable heels, lady!!

Those are the kind of things I get excited about these days too. We can be boring old adults together! When I was a kid my least favorite places to go with my mom were the home accessories and decor type stores--Home Goods, BB&B, that sort of thing... Now they are my jam. 8->
