  I was a RTT virgin until this post, but I don't know where else to say this.
  
  I had a crummy day today and decided to get a pint of Ben and Jerry's. Thought there'd be some left for DH when he gets home, but no, looks like I've eaten it all.
  
  I think my day is getting less crummy though!

  How the heck did The Chaiman on Iron Chef America get his job?!? I want to get paid to be on tv, do martial arts all day, and eat five star foods season after season.
  
  BiRL fun fact: if I won the lottery the thing I'd splurge on after donating and investing is getting Chef Masaharu Morimoto to cook DH and I a private meal. The man is a culinary genius.

  That's why I haven't been to a chiropractor since my loss. I *know* it doesn't have anything to do with it but I can't let myself indulge. I'm glad you were able to overcome your irrational fear and I'm sure your nails look lovely. Reminds me that I really need a pedi...

  I have a sweater I love that I was wearing on the day I found out about my m/c last year.  It took me a long time to let myself wear it earlier this fall being that I was pregnant again and irrationally thought I was jinxing myself.  It's all part of the grief/healing process I think!

  I'm glad I can come here to tell you all about eating too much ice cream and how glad I am that my 2-yr-old has no clue what Ben and Jerry's is, otherwise I would have had a tantrum on my hands.
  
  He also doesn't know that when I told him he couldn't have my package of cookies but he could have some crackers instead, he was getting the raw end of that deal. He said "Mama's snack (pointing at the cookies), my crackers!"

  I still can't eat at Wendy's because it was the last place I ate before I got confirmation that my pregnancy wasn't viable.

  @vinny424 I had a mc on our wedding anniversary (in 2011)which happened to be Thanksgiving. My EDD was the 4th of July (2012). This last thanksgiving was the first time I was able to celebrate, and I'm never any fun on our anniversary. I still haven't celebrated the 4th of July, but I hope to this year. I think it's all part of the grieving process.

  @katieharpiceland Noooooo!!! Not citrus!!! Citrus is death to a sore throat! The vitamin C is good for colds, but citric acid aggravates already irritated throat tissue. Take it from a professional vocalist, don't do it. Herbal tea and honey is the way to go. Maybe some all fruit popcicles if the cold will feel soothing, but NO citrus! Avoid dairy, too. Sugar free cough drops, lots of water, anything to keep your throat hydrated.

  Oops! Well...I'll stick to just honey and hot water from now on :-) Thanks for the heads up. I can't really stomach the thought of tea for some reason. Weird, I know :-) But honey and hot water sounds nice too!

  Pretty sure kiddo is squishing a nerve right now that is making my left leg hurt so bad. Yowza! Now he is kicking around like, "oh good, you're awake! Let's be awake now!"
  
  Get off whatever you are squishing and go to sleep, kid, mama needs some shut eye.

  Well, I would have picked Nina when I saw this, but I fell asleep during the commercial break before they announced it.  Now I have to fast forward through the entire episode to find out in the last 3 minutes!  Blahhhh.
  
  I think I know though... I think when DH came to bed Watch What Happens Live was on and I heard, but now I need to confirm.

  My throat hurts so bad!!! My nose is stuffy, my eyes won't stop weeping, my head hurts, can't sleep. I just want a double shot of NyQuil, and some sleep.
  DD had a snow day yesterday and took care of me but today she has school... Who's going to get mommy a popsicle?!?!
  And I WANT A DOUHNUT

  Vent: SO just informed me out of his 7 coworkers (he works at a bank) 2 are also pregnant and both having boys aaaand have chosen our name (Mason) now I knew it was popular but come on. Were due first but still... Back to the drawing board...

  I hate my fucking job so much! My boss is a complete witch. I was really sick with a bad stomach virus and had to call out on Tuesday... I haven't called out sick in months, btw....she was completely rude to me when I came back yesterday. And now I feel like I'm being punished for calling out. I just can't wait to get away from this place!!!!!
  
  I'm sorry... I feel like all I do is complain... I promise I'm not a completely miserable person! This has been a bad week...

  Had a total freak out/melt down and let my head get away from me this morning about what could be wrong with DD. Waiting for test results is the worst...I've been working so hard to be brave and strong for DD that I just lost it after dropping her off a school this morning.
