Oh, boy. I'm feeling bad for the OP of the donut thread. Sure it was a silly situation, but it sounds like she's unraveling. I really hope she finds a little peace of mind.

@katieharpiceland Noooooo!!! Not citrus!!! Citrus is death to a sore throat! The vitamin C is good for colds, but citric acid aggravates already irritated throat tissue. Take it from a professional vocalist, don't do it. Herbal tea and honey is the way to go. Maybe some all fruit popcicles if the cold will feel soothing, but NO citrus! Avoid dairy, too. Sugar free cough drops, lots of water, anything to keep your throat hydrated.

I'm just gonna throw my two cents in about the doughnut thread, not trying to debate but just wanna voice my opinion. I see where her problem is trivial and not comparable to what others are going through, but at the same time I don't think she's trying to compare them. I think she's kind of dramatic about it, but I know I've posted about stupid vents that were pretty ridiculous. I think both sides of this thread got blown way out of proportion. I didn't want to save this for UO and bring it back up again tomorrow.

I wasn't trying to be rude, but I think crying because someone doesn't like your donuts is kinda petty. I have cried about dumb things also, I get irrationally angry, and sometimes I need help with a little perspective. I didn't mean to make her feel bad.

I definitely agree with you @dani+california, I didn't mean to come off trying to defend OP or white knight, and I definitely agree with perspective comments. And very much enjoyed the doighnut memes haha. I just know everyone is super annoyed with it and that's my annoyance with it.

You said what we were all thinking! It came off as incredibly whiny. And when someone says "You know, your problem is small, cheer up!" and you come back with "YEAH, but you don't know ALL my lyfe problems! So let me tell you them"...its annoying. Hmm...maybe I'M hormonal!

I don't think you're stupid or lame. Maybe you aren't 100% in the right, but it sounds like you have a good perspective and I completely understand wanting some things to just be about you. It's like hearing you're getting a party celebrating some big milestone, then being told, "Oh, and while we're celebrating YOU we might as well pile on this other celebration we should probably celebrate too. Two birds!" I wouldn't want a joint shower unless I was very close with the person. See if you can still get your own cake.

at the same time that's why we have RTT and TP threads those are not exclusive to "regular" posters and are better suited for this kind of "problem" it didn't need its own whiny thread.

And speaking of being able to whine about stupid things: I think I might accidentally sneeze this baby out tonight. I've been sneezing so intensely and so often tonight it hurts haha

The issue with there being less room is they are squished to a side. So when they move it is intense and it feels like they are trying to break through the skin. They don't really do it at the same time, but when they do it is crazy, I also think baby B is facing his brother, while baby A is facing out. But these are my first and I don't know what a singleton feels like. I imagine when I get pregnant again that little one will have so much room in there I will never feel 'em.
