I'm still not convinced she was real. But I'm naive and like to think that people with whacked out opinions are smart enough to not go spewing them in places where they're likely to be very unpopular. A DD just ramps up the drama factor even more.

@joules235- thanks for the info. Ill most likely be ordering Hypnobabies today. How long did you study/practice this method before having your daughter?
I just found a pint of Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream in my freezer I forgot I bought. Lucky me!
Jealous! DH got me some ice cream at the store the other day. The thought was sweet, but he got me mint which was a HUGE craving during first trimester. But not anymore. Wish it was B&J Half Baked instead!
It's the thought that counts right? Funny how in just a short period of time our cravings change!

Happy birthday @hubbs173! What are you doing to celebrate?
Well I slept in til 10, which was awesome!! Spent the day cuddling on the couch with my dog and cat catching up on dvr-ed shows. DH and I have dinner reservations then going to the Buffalo Sabres game (hopefully we win, we're totally choking this season!!)
DH threw out Sarah last night, which I do really like, but this little one seems to be pretty fiesty. I just don't know if it "fits." Sadie is apparently version of Sarah.
I also LOVE Harper and have said for years that if I ever had a girl, I wanted to name her Harper. DH's best friend and his wife had a little girl last year. Guess what her name is? I don't think DH loves it either.
Just after I got my BFP, I began the application process for a masters program at one of the local universities. We get a year long mat leave here (Ontario), so I figured now would be the perfect time to go back to school. And, I just found out that I have been accepted! It's a Masters of Information program, which is the degree I need to one day, potentially, be a public librarian, which I think would amazing.
So, I'm on cloud nine today.

Totally jealous of your sleep in. It sounds like you are having an awesome day. I am with you on being a fan of a team that isn't great - my team is one of the bottom in the league, and has been that way for too many years now.
My dad's dad, Grandpa, died when I was 10 months old. Given that my dad grew up in a different country than Grandpa lived, they were close but not terribly, so while I have stories, we didn't have much of his stuff. Well, when my step-grandma died a couple years ago, Dad's half-sister started going through all their old stuff. A couple of months ago she gifted me, the family history nerd, with a big old tupperware bin full of his stuff. Photos from infancy through death, documents also from birth to death certificate, and a bunch of other random stuff. Grandpa's grandfather was Louis McHenry Howe, the man who basically got FDR elected as president. Because of their relationship, FDR was Grandpa's godfather. The bin had a ton of FDR stuff in it! Invites to inaugural brunches, letters on White House stationary, pictures of FDR's funeral, etc. It was soooo neat to not only know about it, but to see it and hold it. I contacted the FDR Library and they want to start a Robert Howe Baker Papers Collection!! So fucking cool, my Grandpa having his own collection of papers in a presidential library. I'm so excited it's insane. We (my siblings and father and I) are going through it all this weekend and will put all the FDR stuff into one pile so that we can see how much we really have. Neat!
Random thought: I haven't had a weird random emotional crying session during pregnancy. I hear about people having them or crying over really silly things (like the post recently about the can of corn vs. frozen corn) and just think to myself... what? You cried and/or freaked out over what? The crying chip seems to be missing with this pregnancy and I'm a-ok with that!
So has anybody heard from @Luna C? I haven't seen her post since we gently flamed her stretch marks thread.
Come to think of it I haven't seen her around lately...I hadn't realized that thread was flameful, I just ignored it because I don't care about stretch marks...I went back and read it and it got pretty funny. I've been flamed way worse than that on various boards and I stuck around!
I keep thinking back to 17 weeks when I was so excited about feeling those tiny first baby movements. And now at 22 weeks, they're so much bigger. And I think how big they'll get. And I'm like DAAAYYUUUUMMMM.

This question was in my 21 week bump email: what is your pregnancy/birth/baby fantasy?
Mine is that everyone had the option to have 12 months paid (at least partially) maternity/paternity leave. For US ladies, think congress could get around to that in the next 4 months?

I checked earlier and it said she hasn't been active since the day of the post. I'm hoping she's just busy with life and will be back soon, because honestly I would not expect someone who's such a regular poster to get offended enough to leave after something so mild.

My first degree was in history and FDR is my absolute favorite!!! Love WWII era everything. Let me know what you find!
@lilygrace48 - that is too cool! The history nerd in me is dying. People used to keep all sorts of records. I wonder what 'records' will look like in 50 years: a scroll of their Facebook posts?

I thought it had skipped me too... Until we were watching the vagina monologues on demand and I randomly started sobbing at a part that wasn't even sad. Hubs was like "what the hell is wrong with you" which made me cry harder. Ugh

Same. Then I said something to DH about how nonhormonal I have been and got a serious side eye. Idk something about me crying to Justin Timberlake's Mirrors when it was playing in the car (to be fair I was picturing the video).

I really wish it had missed me, but I'm kind of a hormonal wreck about half the time. Sometimes I just can't stop crying!
I don't really love this, the love it was more of an emotional support "aw, hugs" for ya girl!
I did have a hormonal rage at DH when he was lazy and didn't wipe down the dogs from outside this morning. It was raining and they were wet! I threw away his floss. That should count for something yes?

@CharSamm, after just reading/catching up on the JuneBug317 drama, I just flinched reading your post! LOL Made me giggle.
AW2: I've actually been half-bakes technically for awhile (due to twins coming earlier)
AW3: This freaks me out. I'm not ready at all.
