For the first time, my LO is actually showing a preference for who holds him. It's me!! He grins so big and looks for me everywhere. Even though, he won't let me put him down, I secretly don't mind. The time is going by soooo fast and I know that soon he will not need me like this. I do feel kinda bad that it hurts my H's feelings....

I haven't seen Star Wars, I watched the Star Trek movie (never the tv series), but fell asleep in the movie, I haven't seen space balls, but my confession is I have seen the porn that parodies space balls.

Ummm I think so! Star Trek used to be on tv when I was a kid...always 9ish pm or later. That's when I knew it was bed time.
The other night DH was wearing LO and walking around in boxers and I told him to be decent and throw on some pants. Lo and behold he came back in pant-less. Naked. Nothing. I thought it was hilarious looking and took a pic of his bare-ass baby wearing (to clarify: literally. From the back, not front) to send to his brother (whose DS is a couple months older) and wrote something along the lines of "DH modeling proper baby wearing technique"
That's not the confession.
I imessaged that glorious bare ass photo to not just his brother but also his mother....and my parents. I shit you not. It's not my fault!!! I blame computer iMessage and it's deceiving recipients line and an old group message I forgot about.
Realized when MIL texted back something along the lines of "I promised I raised him better than that!"
I couldn't think of a good reply, I was so stunned at the whole mishap, I just sent the elf gif "you sit on a throne of lies!" And then DH started frantically yelling "send more gifs so they don't notice the first picture!!!!"
HAHAHAHAHAHA. I'm going to be paying for this for a while........he actually made me post this. I totes was going to hide it.

Let me clarify one thing. When I was freshly PP, I wore maternity jeans. Mainly this was because my ass actually jiggled when I walked and the jeans added much needed structure. After walking and watching what I am eating, a good amount of fat has melted off my hips and butt so I can get away with yoga pants again.
TL;DR: my ass looks fabulous.
I was like "she knows that's a llama and not an ass, right!?!" until I saw he fabulous.

February Signature Challenge: Valentine's Day GIFs

2. i wear boots and makeup and dress up to go out of the house. i don't do it to improve my self esteem, i do it because i LIKE nice clothes and i LIKE makeup, and its a change of pace from yoga pants and nursing tanks at home.
3. the only time my kid isn't in a sleeper is for a photo or occasion then back to the sleeper. when she's older she can wear cute clothes but when she poops, pees, spits up on herself and goes through like 5 outfits a day, sleepers are the bomb.com for messy newborns
I have never seen Star Wars, Star Trek, or (not related but flame worthy) Friends!!!! My BFF is a friends junky and I am just not interested! I also keep LO in sleepers and it is more like 4-5 per day d/t crazy spit up! I also don't blow dry my hair and it goes straight into a ponytail! I also am still wearing maternity jeans!!!

I wish there was a way to let these new 'friends' of @trackgirlparis know that she thinks they are slobs.
Making new friends and being a new mom is hard enough. Sometimes I just can't handle all the judgy judgfaces. Just bc your baby wasn't in a 'sloppy sleeper' does not make you a better mother/person/human being than anyone else.

I'm sitting in the glider babywearing LO and just missed my mouth with water and poured a big gulp on his head. Oops. He's still sleeping despite his head being soaked. Boom! Had to take pic for memory shits sake.

Ooooh I just thought of one. So last week I had a yeast infection. (I know right? Shoot me now!) so I packed up BOTH LOs in their sleepers, and hit up the nearest grocery store to run in and grab a monistat. I mean i wasn't going to wait another minute- girl needed her monistat ASAP! So there I was- hoody, yoga pants, messy bun, no makeup, with my 4 month old AND my toddler totally wearing footy pajamas. At like 10:30 in the morning. In public. I can only imagine what people must have thought of me! Yuuuup, I'm that girl!
My other confession- it totally crossed my mind for the tiniest split second how nice it would be to leave both kids locked in the car while I flew into the store for the 1 item. I didn't do it of course, but I wanted to!
I've never seen the three original Star Wars, only the new ones....never Star Trek...ewww
I love the smell of coffee and I try to love it too a lot but really don't, but I think it makes me look more sophisticated so I will drink it around people or when I'm alone and wanting to feel mature sitting in my porch on my iPad, z"reading the news"=bumping.
