T&P @nannabee21 - hope you have good news to share later today!
We are team green this time (my DH hasn't agreed 100% but I think I can bring him to my side). We have a DS and DD already so I really just want the surprise at birth.
I wonder why these sites are taking forever to get Sep14 boards up! September is the most popular birth month statistically so they should have been ready!
Last note--my nausea turned into full m/s this morning. I never got sick with my DD, only my DS so of course I am already thinking boy. Dicks make ya sick--just asked Kate Middleton and Jessica Simpson LOL!
I'm an August person, but just wanted to pop over to say I think it's ridiculous they haven't given ya'll your board yet!
Current pregnancy - First BFP on 1/4/22. Due date 9/13/22.
Four prior losses, no living children - 1 first trimester miscarriage, 1 blighted ovum, 1 chemical, and one extreme premature live birth daughter who died at 15 days old.
I just found out yesterday that I am due in September too!!! My husband and I have been trying for 8mo now. I'm going to tell him in a couple days! Super Happy!! Congrats to you all!
Hello Fellow 1stie! I am pregnant with our first too! We had a miscarriage last year in February, but we are hopeful that this baby is here to stay I am interested in learning what birthing methods other 1sties are considering. I am a proponent of natural birthing methods (meaning no drugs and no interventions unless necessary) and have been researching birth methods for 5 years- back when my biological clock started ticking with a heavy thud. I am not against the use of drugs, I just want to go into my birthing experience with the I-can-do-this mentality and not the X-on-my-back-in-red-permanent-marker-with-the-words-epidural?-yes-please mentality.. I do believe every birthing experience is different, and I know that doing it the pure and natural way isn't for everyone.
I am a first timer as well. Like you said, I'm not against the use of drugs, but I also want to go into it with an I can do it attitude. If at all possible, I would really like to do it natural.

I had epidurals with my previous children but I always wait as long as I can. This time I would really like to go into labor on my own--both my previous were induced. One the doctors said I had to go a week early because I had gestational diabetes and the other because I got stuck at 4cm. I have been told that contractions that are medically induced are worse than natural ones so I wonder if I am able to go into labor myself if I could make it through without an epidural too
Hello! My name is Elizabeth and I got my very first BFP this morning! Crazy excited and a bit in awe. Looking forward to getting to know you all.
I am 33 and live in Northern Virginia. DH and I have been married for just shy of 6 months and we wanted to GO FOR IT even though we know a lot of people will tsk tsk that we didn't "enjoy ourselves" longer. But we know this is what we want and so excited it happened on just the 3rd try.
By my LMP date - due date Sept. 2nd, very excited, nervous, can't believe it yet... weird!!
Feeling nausea today for the first time, I also want to cry all day... Crazy hormones!!
Anyone of you is as emotional as me?
I have been SO emotional. I was watching Downton Abbey today and had to fight back the tears. Oh boy. I just keep telling myself that it means good things are happening.
Hi all. Wanted to do a quick intro. Found out we are expecting our 3rd baby, due on 9/10. My first is 3 and my second just turned 1, so we will have 2u2 - oy. I'm very excited - and slightly daunted at the idea of being completely outnumbered. Congrats to everyone!
Hello. This is my first post on a message board in thebump.
My EDD is 9/11/14. This is my second pregnancy- the first one ended in a miscarriage and a D&C in August at 10 weeks. I'm so scared that this one will end too that I am missing out on the excitement I felt the first time. Anyone else relate?
My 2nd pregnancy too. First ended in MC/ D&C last March/April at 8 weeks. I have no excitement. I also have no symptoms again. I am basically setting myself up for the same results. I just can't get my hopes up to feel like I did last time again. I totally relte and it is such a bummer
The Bump lady came in here a few pages back--maybe page 14 or 15?-- to say it would be up by the end of this week. I thought it was excessive but I doubt the answer has changed.

So I'll cross post this to the BMB since it's up and running now, but I just got back from my ultrasound. They couldn't fit me in at the ob's office because she was booked solid this week, so I went to the diagnostic center at the hospital. I'm sure they don't look at tons of pregnant women, so I'm still a little leery. However, there was nothing on the ultrasound. No sac at all. He didn't say he saw anything around my tubes either. My doc is supposed to call with results later. I'm somewhat discouraged, but I know there is something making me pregnant somewhere, since tests are positive. According to my LMP, I'm 7wks 2 days, but I didn't ovulate until day 33 of my cycle, which puts me at exactly 5 weeks today. I'm still hopeful it's too early and that next time we go in there will be a fluttering heartbeat, but until then, I'll be in limbo land. I've pretty much stopped spotting, so that's good news. Oh and they did tell me they saw a corpus luteum on my left ovary, which is the side I ovulated from.
Tl;dr: nothing in my ute at this point (5wks) but there is a corpus luteum. Hoping it's still too early to see but keeping my hopes realistic at the same time. Thanks for the T&P's.
Anyone else not see anything at 5 weeks?
