Thanks! It's very comforting to know that I am not missing anything important.
It's hard to wait, though, isn't it? It's killing me!
@hollster8 - You're not alone on the wait killing you! I had an apt with a nurse on 12/30 just to confirm the pregnancy and go over the do/don't list and family medical history.
My next appointment, which will be with my OB, is on Feb 3. One month. I'm dying. I'm so anxious for that ultrasound!
I know! I still haven't had my appointment with the nurse yet. My ultrasound is Feb 19. We can do it! We can survive the wait!! (Right??)
It is so hard! I don't even have an appointment with a nurse it anything so I am really going off my own research on what to do/not do at this point. It's really frustrating bc this is the first time I have ever been pregnant and I want to make sure I do everything right! It's so nice to have found these forums though so I can talk to other people going through the same thing!

@KendraDee13 - Thanks! Though, whenever I click on links for blogs, it only takes me directly the blog homepage and not to the specific blog. It's been doing that from all over TB page. Super annoying.
I did go snooping through the August BMB just to see what kind of things we'll have in our September BMB, and I found a post with the full glossary. They probably pulled it from that link.
August Siggy Challange: Alcohol Porn - Get yer' drank on!
Hi, I ask a lot of questions on here but this is my first pregnancy and I don't have my first appt until Feb 24th!! Anyways, most of my cramping and back pain is on my right side. In fact I would say about 95% and the other 5% is pretty much just everywhere. Is this normal? I just wanted to get some reassurance that this can happen in a normal pregnancy and does not mean anything like an ectopic pregnancy or other issues. Thanks!!
Made my first apt today!! Since I have Endo and was on clomid they are doing it in my 7th week so Jan 30th. Its just the nurse apt to confirm pregnancy, family history, all that good stuff!! Excited!!
Got a text this morning from my 2 baby apps telling me that Tick is now the size of a sweet pea!
A much better visual than an apple seed.
Note: I call baby Tick because, while I was POAS, I saw a tick on my leg. I had gone hiking the day before, and the little sucker hopped on for a ride. In my panic to get it out, I forgot about checking my test. Seeing the BFP made everything better. My DH thought the tick was a sign: something was needing me to survive. A little gross, but it works for us.
Maybe I'll picture this, instead of a nasty little bug:

I was on Clomid and had my first apt at 6.... At 7 we had two heartbeats.
I have had quite a few light headed spells within the last 2 weeks. I don't remember having this with my first DD. Cramps are starting to ease up a bit as well. Still get the pain twinges when I move to quickly. Food sounds amazing right now...but I cannot pin ppoint what I want to eat for the life of me. Dr appt on Wednesday morning
I'm making an appointment with a midwife, hopefully for next week. It's just a q&a session, we are considering a home birth, so this is really for my husband. We'll see
On Saturday, I cried because my makeup came out of the tube in a big glob. I was crying and my sweet husband was trying to calm me down and then I was laughing and crying at the same time about how ridiculous it was. I'm losing it. My poor DH.
Well if you ladies want to cry even more, read the book "The Storyteller" by Jodi Piccoult I'm sure I would have cried anyways, but there was a specific part that touched my heart, now being a future Mom that pretty much had me bawling my eyes out.

I so wanted a midwife. But, I live on an island that is filled with 85% retirees, so midwifes were very hard to come by. OB it is.
My SIL had a home birth with a midwife. She had back labor for 15 hours, and STILL looking back would have not gone any other way. She'll do home births with her others for sure.

I'm so happy to see familiar "faces"!!!! I must have missed a lot of BFPs on TTPG when I was OOT!
Random question and I really don't want to start a post about it - should I let my chiropractor know right away? I go weekly, and I'm not sure if there's something they do differently this early on. All I can find online is how great it is to get adjusted during pregnacy, but not when to tell them.

Yes, all medical professionals that treat you should know you're pregnant.
Heck, even your hairdresser (some hairsprays are apparently not quite safe), massage therapist (some pressure points should be avoided), aerobics instructor (in case of emergency) should know. Tell anyone who is doing something to your body.
Ok I was annoyed for my last BMB when people were whining with due dates 5 days into the month that our board had not yet been created, but this is kind of crazy. I'm seeing EDDs for Sept. 19 now. Come on bump gods. I've got work to (not) do.

There is only one practice in my area that does homebirths. Other OB practices seem to have midwives, but you kind of get what you get with a large practice like that. My husband is still on the fence but he said he is "not completely opposed" to the idea. So we will see how it turns out. We have no freestanding birth centers here, they are all part of the hospital OB wings, so that is basically the same thing.

I just got my BFP last night. According to my LMP, I'm due 9/4/2014.
This will be mine and DH's first baby after trying for over a year. I actually have an appointment Thursday at the OB/GYN to try figuring out why I wasn't getting preggo. Now I get to announce when I go in that I got my positive test. lol
Glad I'm not the only one wondering why our board isn't up yet.

Sept 3rd! Although my cycles are slightly irregular so who knows.
I also wish our board was up. I have been creeping on Aug '14 just to see what ladies near our EDD are saying.
Very nervous and cannot wait for that first appointment. Well the u/s really. I had a D&C last April so I am super anxious.
Congrats to all my fellow Sept ladies!
