@michaelad3 that sounds amazeballs - I need that recipe like right now! Raspberries and any kind of dough are a major weakness of mine, and I'm drooling imagining the deliciousness!

This!! DH put it on and we just ranted and raged over all of it. I can't be toooo mad at the show since it sparked a lovely productive conversation about what our parents did right and what we would do differently regarding self-esteem and character building etc etc... It is super fun to put on our judgey pants together and hypothesize about how we want to be the best parents who ever lived, not gonna lie.

My random thoughts for the night:
- I'm in full nesting mode and I love it.
- I made a home made body scrub and it's the tits.
- it's snowing tonight and dropping down to really low temps so DH might not have to go to work tomorrow.. I kind of hope he does though.
- is anyone else pigging out?? I have done so well with managing my portions and not over eating but the past few days has been a whole different story.

Ok, we try to keep Sundays as a day of rest. We're not great at it, but we try to not do anything we don't want to do on Sundays. Hubby just did all the dishes that have been slowly accumulating over the last four days (we've been eating out a lot, so our usual "whoever cooks doesn't clean" went out the door, and the water cups have been piling up) AND cleaned out the refrigerator.

1) I'm letting myself fall behind on this thread for the first time ever (sorry 150 messages I'm skipping)

2) uhhh nesting has begun. As soon as DH finishes a task I'm handing out a new one. Our apt WILL GET CLEAN!!!! We got/set up the pack and play in our room today. That's what started the frenzy.

3) I had the revelation today that I really hate the taste of all food right now and have for some time. I don't remember the last time I are something and thought "omg this is delicious!" I only think "well, I am tolerating this." As a chubby kid, this new fact of life is mind blowing.

4) I made a promise to myself to commit to seeing my real life pregnant friends this/next week. I have one due in May, June, and July. Our church community pops out babies like crazy.

5) did I really just number this post? Ew.

Well my first real potential wedding client was a bust. She wanted a 10K wedding for 2K. ha not happening. Told her the best I could do was 5K and she wasn't hearing it. Oh well I can't make miracles happen.

DH dragged me out of the house in nesting mode today (read: refusal to shower or spend time doing anything but work on prepping the nursery to paint), and we ran into my friend at Target who is also my hairdresser. She totally caught me with a greasy head buying preparation h wipes, and DH and I had absolutely zero shame. Pregnancy may be doing awful things to my body, but my capacity for embarrassing things rolling off my back has grown astronomically. I'm into it.

I am done painting baby's crib and changing table until we find out the sex. I'm so excited! We still have so much to do but at least I got some stuff done!

DD was awesome today even tho she didn't take a nap

I got some lovey time with DH after DD went to bed and now my back hurts like hell.

Isn't it prep h that you can use for dark circles under your eyes? No shame in that.

If I remember Miss Congeniality correctly, that's the other use for it.

Hehehe, this made me giggle. We were definitely standing in the aisle with different butt wipe options in our hands weighing pros and cons. It probably would have mortified me pre pregnancy and I would have wanted the under eye circle excuse, but not today! I'd much rather discuss my hemorrhoid problem than another asshole asking if I'm sure it isn't twins.

Lucky!! Our PTO is accrued not yearly. And tomorrow I go back after 2 weeks off. I'm going to die.

@Pineconey - we were told we can call in and use PTO if we feel it is "unsafe" to come to work. I'm trying to figure out how to tell my boss I feel unsafe/scared over a possibility of my car breaking down without sounding like a total wuss. I've heard stories from people about how long AAA is taking to respond to roadside emergencies, and even though I have no reason to think my car actually WOULD break down, it'd be the worst day ever for it to happen.

Also, I'm still pissed at my employer for making me work Christmas Eve, day after Christmas, and New Year's Eve. Soooo that's working against them right now too. I've been busting my ass at work and had to spend Christmas just DH and I while everyone else took time off for the holidays (since I've only been here since April 2013). So I feel like I've earned a day off to rub my belly and put my feet up

Seriously tho, we just had a car slide and hit a big rock in my sub and it exploded into flames. Then the fire truck got stuck trying to leave. My car sucks in the snow, last year trying to get to work I broke my transmission. This time, being pregnant and with the same car it gives me severe anxiety and I'm not risking it.
