I would be sad if DH hated salmon like that. He's never been a big seafood fan but since he met me he has been learning. We eat salmon pretty often. It's just so easy to make and so good!

Oww I burned my hand because I grabbed a pot handle, right outta the 400 degree oven. Ouch. I now have blisters, and doubt I'll be able to function at work tomorrow without some serious pain

Maybe DH will get me cinnamon rolls to make me feel better...? Lol

I actually REALLY wish I liked fish. But, I hate it. Especially livingq so close to the ocean with such good fish. But no. That and eggs. I wish I loved eggs. :-/

Did your friend not leave you a scratching post for kitty? Walmart/Target/KMart-type places usually have fairly cheap ones for about $20. If the cat doesn't seem interested in it, try rubbing a bit of catnip over it to attract kitty. That's how we stopped our cat from tearing up stuff.

I'm watching Dateline, and the first story about housing in big cities made me angry for all the parents that are fighting their landlords just to provide a safe and healthy place for their kids who have asthma because of said housing.

Now the second story is about kids who feel like plastic surgery is the only way to end bullying when it comes to their looks. Why are kids so mean? I know I was bullied some in middle school, but I never thought anyone had it that bad...

My momma bear is starting to show - all of this makes me so angry and sad!

I'm debating going in or not... I have SOOOO much to do, and am already using 4hrs of PTO on Thursday for my first appt with the new perinatal specialist and follow-up ultrasound. It's so tempting to call in though.

Maybe I'll just have some ice cream and call it a night. LOL!

It doesn't smell if you take the trash out immediately and do the dishes right after dinner. Both of which we do, and never bother with the smell.

DH does the dishes BEFORE dinner (major eyeroll and pet peeve). I just feel like the fish smell gets stuck in the oven and in the air. We cook seafood on the BBQ a lot though. And I'll do an occasional good quality white fish like Chilean sea bass as it has a less fishy smell. Maybe I am just sensitive.

I made raspberry swirl rolls for the shower I hosted yesterday. Like cinnamon rolls, but with raspberries instead of cinnamon. They were yummy!

I don't love fish smells, but I can handle it. What I cannot handle right now is this overwhelming paint smell I'm going to die! My husband and his friend out another coat of primer on the walls of he baby room tonight, and the smell is suffocating me! I'm sitting in the living room (opposite end of he house) with the front door and the window open.

Preschool starts back for DD tomorrow....I'm happy about it and looking forward to a quiet 4 hours tomorrow morning. I think getting back into our normal routine will help with some of the behavior issues we had the past 2 weeks.

BIRL, I actually found them on Pinterest, but I didn't make her exact recipe because I made a deferent dough, but basically make whatever dough recipe you choose, and then after you roll it out, mix a bag of frozen raspberries with 1/4 plus 2 Tbs sugar and a tsp of cornstarch for the filling. Spread it over the dough, roll it up and slice. I cooked it at 375 for about 20 min, but the recipe says 425, and then top with glaze. Yum!
