    My FFFC....I am sitting in the airport waiting to board and LO is fussy. Between tending him and reading this thread it's taken me about 3 hours to get through.

    This is weird, but my place already exists and has 70 horses on it. Is there anyway you could buy adjacent land? We have a river and shit. It's pretty stinkin' cool.

    You had me at gelato and I started wishing for the apocalypse by sorbet. I eat a lot of coffee based cold products. Preferably with hints of caramel if you could have him work out a recipe.

    All residents will be taught to ride a horse. No exceptions.

    He can make anything. He's really quite the genius. Considering he's Italian, he's got the coffee flavors covered, and he makes a mean caramel sauce. 

    It's amazing I don't weigh 800 pounds. 

    Do you have a dappled horse I can ride? Soooo pretty!

    Only if it's made with your breastmilk.
    I'll start pumping now. I'll have to figure out a refrigeration solution for the long journey, but I'm quite clever. I'm sure I'll work something out.

    Eh, I would eat them. I see no difference. It would be polite to inform your guests that there is BM in there, but I don't know if I would risk my job confessing about it at this point.

    Re: baby shoes
    Our pediatrician & physical therapists friends advised against them for developmental reasons. It does pose a problem for sensory, ingrown toenails & can delay walking because baby is not familiar with the sensation of bare feet on the floor or surfaces. Do I care if other people choose to put shoes on their infants? No. My kid hates them so I don't bother. My area doesn't get cold enough to warrant them, but socks over footsie PJ would work. I'm not sure why someone would judge my kid for not having shoes on. A toddler with no shoes? Ok. They are walking, but my infant is in socks or covered by a blanket. @lettyenglish gave a great explanation. Bravo.

    My FFFC? I am laying here in bed & LO is asleep in the swing. I am almost asleep. I hope he stays asleep for a couple more hours in that swing. DD is building Legos with H. I'm actually having the pain meds work on my dysfunctional broken vertebrae. I live in fear of getting perfectly comfortable because I just *know* DS will wake up when that happens...

    Yes! I wish you were closer! We are trying to find a new instructor and it makes me want to eat my eyes. People MASSIVELY overestimate their skills. Are you CHA certified? That is my favorite person to hire because I don't have to do much other than point to the horses, tell you the name and let you figure it out.

    I have a few - a bay, a palomino and a gray, but the gray's are fading with age. Safe bet to have long term dapples is the palomino, but she is pregnant soooo... she will need a few months of around July. (P.S. I'm nearly as excited about her baby as I was about my own.)

    @Bellaoso I'm just certified to teach in MA, but I worked at a camp where the horses were delivered to us and we had to just figured them out, so I'm fairly good at that. I was also the "tester" to make sure they were safe for our program. I had some fun times...all that bucking and rearing...I was like a rodeo clown!

    I ate almost a whole giant dairy milk caramel bar reading this.. Now I'm drinking a 'woo woo' because it was stressful and I'm still at my ILS...

    On the shoe debate, I'm 50/50. LO has these cute ugg boot sort of things that are great for this weather and her carrier.. Other times I'll leave her in socks.. Whatever. To each their fucking own.
