DD is taking a really good nap so I got myself ready while she was sleeping. DH should be home in about an hour and a half and then we are going to his grandmas for his mom's side of the family. I cannot wait todrink wine and eat homemade turkey noodle soup...even the noodles are home made!
The Catholic Church near us has, no joke, 6 cop cars there in prep for tonight.
Presumably for directing traffic.
The Catholics have to do a full mass, right? So they can't just cut the service down to 45 minutes and have more of them like my mom's lutheran church used to do.

I'm still basking in the happiness that my sister treated me to an expensive sushi dinner last night in reward for walking her dog for 9 days while she was on her honeymoon Oh, and Merry Christmas guys!
Nana-I would do the cute outfits both days. LO just wore her Christmas outfit two days in a row and she wears her dress on three different days. I just bring a change of clothes for when she eats or a big T-shirt to put over her.

Regular mass is 45. Special maybe an hour.
Huh. Not where I grew up. Lutherans always teased Catholics about how long their services were because y'all do communion for everything.

And I'm supposed to be applying for jobs. I'm bumping. It's Christmas Eve, why is he nagging me to apply today? Ain't nobody checking apps for the next week or so.
Srsly. My doorknob is going to turn into my old, dead associate and then homeboy is gonna rattle his ethereal chains in my grill.
Uh, yeah. No applying for jobs on Christmas Eve. You may want to get them in before January 1st, assuming it's a good fit and a job you actually want.

DH just found out he's going to receive a pretty decent raise in February, which means a lot of pressure off our finances. When I take my boards, I can make money and have all the GTGs!!
