DH has DS and is changing him. I love how cute DS's chattering is in the morning. Donuts are done and im enjoying time with DH til he has to leave at 1 to help FIL load stuff in his trailer, even though FIL didn't tell him

@pobrecita im sorry to hear your DS is sick! I hope it's not croup...I used to get that at least once a year as a kid, its awful!

It's a lot of pretty colors, which about any small child likes @luckydad.  I also like Daniel Tiger and Peg + Cat.

@CtGirl30 I say its totally fine. Honestly, our dog's stocking was a little more full than DS's.

Eta..honestly, we juat got DS some books and a few small toys. I know he's getting a shitload from my parents and ILs...and space is limited here! Plus...hes not even a year old. We'll save the bigger stuff for when hes a little older.

Totally fine. DD was 7 months her first Christmas and her stocking was shit I needed like diaper rash cream and a new sippy cup. You could also throw in unopened snacks you already have in the kitchen, like puffs or pouches or whatever.

Just don't let her eat two puffs at a time, though.  CHOKING HAZARD!

I'm so glad there is a different Sesame Street on right now, so I don't have to watch the same 5 episodes I have recorded on our DVR for DD.

I don't have the same problem with it everyone else seems to. It's not my favorite, but it doesn't bother me either.

Our Netflix is set up to our Xbox in the basement, where my dad is currently playing video games.  I am on the computer right now, so I can't set up the HDMI cable for her to watch other episodes right this moment.  I've obviously given this way too much thought.

DH is at work. Lucky! I get Reese and have to clean. Honestly the main areas just need a good vacuum and I won't do that until tomorrow since we have cats and it is pointless to vacuum the day before people come. Right now DD is still congested so we are curled up on the couch watching Finding Nemo.

DD told DH that Santa can't come down the chimney because he will get dirty.

Last year DS's stocking had a ball (because I didn't want to wrap it) and he got 1 gift under the tree. He didn't know what was up. Honestly he still doesn't seem to care, but toys are more fun to buy for him now

I still keep a few of the toys for smaller kids around for my friends who have babies, but I try to keep all of it at a minimum.  We are starting to accumulate the bigger items, so our space is dwindling.  Kids, man.

LO slept until 10. He woke up crying at 3:30 and I brought him in with us. It wasn't really good sleep, but better than waking up at 8.

We have to go to Walmart to get some last minute stuff. Usually I avoid them at all costs but I have no choice today. Then puttin finishing touches on the salt dough ornaments and foot print art for MIL and my mom

I'd say a good 75% or more of DD's wardrobe is second-hand.  I am too cheap to buy all brand new stuff since she is the last of children for us.

the only clothes I've ever bought brand new were either on super kohls clearance with a 30% off coupon or emergency ohshitiforgottopackanotheroutfit clothes.

My kid decided to wake up at 605 instead of 830 like usual. I think it is because she has a stuffy nose and post nasal drip and her humidifier wasn't on last night. We have a Christmas Eve dinner tonight so hopefully a bath and benadryl will clear her up enough to take a nice nap!

I also like baby sports jerseys. FX next one is a girl, or DW and I will have clothes battles. Her preferences lean precious.
