I seriously cannot wait for this weekend to be over! DH's parents are as nice as can be but I don't know how much more I can take! His sister is such an inconsiderate, snobby, rude person who has no qualms about reminding everyone of how much money she makes and how much better she thinks she is then everyone else. Especially when MULTIPLE bottles of wine are involved. Now DH is drunk and snoring up a storm next to me and I can't fucking sleep! Grrrrrr. I cannot get home fast enough tomorrow! Merry Fucking Christmas...

Spent 5.5 hours in the ER with DD. She has a UTI but with her kidney reflux it causes her to get super sick. It's so fun trying to get a sick 7 year old to pee in a cup when she can't go then getting back to her room and puking all over her bed. Good times.

I just woke up because my stomach is making wikdly obnoxious noises. Must be my baby wailing, obviously. Maybe I should rock him back to sleep?

ETA nope, just gas. Guys!! When will I hear my baby for real? Is that around 28 weeks or what?

@katieharpiceland I don't think they talk till closer to 30 weeks, cuz my friend's friend said that on FB but you never noe. Evry1 is differint. Maybe ask ur baby questions & wait for an answer?

But on a serious note: I woke up at 3:30 am and I can't sleep still. I had nightmares and woke up with a tummy ache

I wish the snoring bear beside me would wake up and make me feel better! He DID rub my belly in his sleep though. That was precious.

Also laying on my sides is starting to really hurt my hips! Anyone else? Any suggestions?

The thing I'm the most excited right now is tax returns lol. Even though I have to save almost all that money for my maternity leave it will still be nice to not be literally living paycheck to paycheck.

I'm am counting down to end of Feb/begining of March just for this. We file as soon as we get the forms. We will finally be able to trade our car in for something that our entire family can fit in comfortably. Mini van here we come!!

I can't wait! I file mine as soon as possible. Usually first week of January since I can print my W2's online. My only splurge with the money this year will be a glider and ottoman. The rest will go into savings, but it's SO nice to know that money is there just in case!

Yeah, we try to file within a week of getting the forms and do it all online so usually it all goes through pretty quickly. This is the first time that we are getting W2's from DH's job since he starter working there earlier this year so I'm hoping since its a small company his boss will be on the ball with everything. He also gets he quarterly bonus in Jan, so that will be nice to have too.

DH and I went to bed dreaming of our new awesome mattress which won't be here until Friday. We went to bed at 9:45 and were both up by 6. Ended up in the guest room trying to sleep. This ice storm kept us awake so we're up making breakfast in a dark house. It's kinda of fun! But we're so tired. I hate this insomnia.

Also I'm pretty sure I heard my baby speaking French! Boom I've got the smartest baby of all!

I'm excited about taxes just to pay some crap off. I'm going to see if I can convince DH into letting us get some nursery stuff for the baby and maybe a breast pump.

I wish I got money back from taxes. LOL. Actually though, I still have to file taxes in the U.S. (but I never have to pay because I pay so much here) and one time I got 26$ back.

Also, I'm so freaking happy. The store that carries all the American goods, had REAL dill pickles. Sooooooooo happy.

And we go to Denmark tomorrow morning. Insanely early. Have to catch the bus at 5:30. But, we're staying in Copenhagen for a few hours before flying to the North where my husband is from. We're going to Tivoli. Its an amusement park, but this time of year, its like a Christmas wonderland. I'm excited. Hot drinks and pretty lights!!

I can't wait until tax season! But, does that really surprise anyone? I'm hoping this'll be a good year for refunds, because I really want a nice Lazy Boy rocker recliner to feed the baby in. I can't wait until I get those W2's and start estimating! Excited to see how filing as a married couple changes things. Plus, I won't have to do two separate returns this year which will be really nice.

we were AMAZED at how much we got back last year! it was our first year of marriage, so it was way more than i expected. this year i had a slightly higher income, but DH's was pretty low. i always file as soon as i get my W2s.

i'm pretty sure i got food poisoning from something i ate yesterday. we've been trying to finish up everything in the house since we are leaving for 2 weeks starting tomorrow, so i've been slightly less strict about my "if it's been in the fridge for a week it goes in the trash" rule to avoid buying groceries. i woke up at midnight in a ton of pain (stomach, nothing baby related) and had to fight for over an hour to get it to settle so i could go back to sleep. i swear the only thing that kept me from puking was my fervent prayers to Jesus.
i'm currently staring down my usual breakfast, hoping and praying i can keep it down. my blood eye is SO CLOSE to being totally healed- i don't want to have to start all over again.

And it was opposite for us last year filing as a married couple for the first time. We got less $ back than we expected. I was so disappointed. I have no idea what this year will bring since we are renting out our old house. A whole new animal. We are actually going to have to use a real accountant this time around.
