Vaccines today and DS won't walk

My boys had to have shots today.  Brady is doing fine:)  Jack was fine for a few hours but then started complaining;  "it hurts" "doctor mama, it hurts" and "owie"

It's so sad.  He's never been this miserable after shots.  It hurts if you touch his legs, move his legs, he won't even stand up...   I looked up the side effects and I didn't find too much out.

Has anyone else experienced this?  I've ben alternating tylenol and motrin for pain.  He had chickenpox and prevnar today.

Thanks:)

Re: Vaccines today and DS won't walk

  • I remember that someone posted the same thing a few weeks back. I remember thinking I would have been freaked out, but several people responded that their dc did the same thing and was fine the next day.

  • Do you think he wiggled his leg when he got the shots?  I was about 5 years old and I did just that and I remember staying at my mom's friend's house the next day, not going to school and  dragging my leg around because it hurt a lot!
