Michigan here too, I have no idea why school was cancelled today. The roads were a little slushy, but I have been out and about all day with these kids and it boggles my mind why it was cancelled. I was really looking forward to having nothing to do all day today and enjoying my last day before they were home for two weeks.

Everyone just got lazy and wanted an extra day off! It wasn't that bad! Both my Mom and MIL bailed on helping me today. I'm annoyed. I'm lonely, I have no interaction all day and I was really looking forward to them coming over.

My sister who lives in Missouri will be here tomorrow (fingers crossed)! I haven't seen her since my wedding in July! I was do nervous to tell her I was pregnant. She's a manager at a panera bread in Springfield and we called and had them page "Aunt April" to the phone. It took her a second but she was so happy! I can't wait to see her and my nephews.

I just felt braxton hicks for the first time today while I was shopping at walmart. I noticed my stomach felt really tight and I had a pain in my lower stomach. I didn't realize how uncomfortable they were.

I'm across the lake in WI/IL. Last year we had a snow day because we were supposed to get pounded and we didn't get one flake.

I am so totally carbed-out. Had our holiday breakfast at work which included about 14 kinds of breakfast potatoes. I ate a load of them for breakfast then another load at lunch, along with about 3 cinnamon rolls.

We were watching modern family last night. Phil and Clare were dropping Hailey off at college. She called them on their drive home and it showed Phil and Clare in the car talking to her trying not to cry. I lost it. DH was like what the hell? All I could say is "we're going to have to do that some day".
