Well apparently this child doesn't like Chinese. Up all night in the bathroom. Combine that with my inlaw's crappy mattress and I am not doing good this morning. Can't wait to go home to my bed tomorrow.
DH and I can't stand his dad, and I have decided I don't even want him to come to the hospital when the baby is born. He makes my skin crawl. I used to be ok with him, but I seriously hate him now. Everything is always always always about him. He knows nothing about this pregnancy, and that's not from lack of trying to give him information. He didn't believe me when I told him I was pregnant. He only believed the news when it came from my SIL (WHAT?!?) He is always playing sick, and claims he has all these things wrong with him, however the doctors have given him a clean bill of health. I'm just going to tell him until he can figure out what's wrong with him (because he's too sick to be at any family functions, or go to work, but not too sick for his church) he can't hold or see the baby. I just can't risk him getting my infant sick. Knowing that this is all a bunch of bologna, and it's all in his head. He wants us to believe him...fine I'll play, you can't swoop in and try to be super grandpa like with our nephew and not be involved in our lives for the 9 months before this baby is here.
I find it weird that heartburn, the hint of a linea negra, allergies, and RLP all showed up right after my 20 week mark. I have had it relatively easy thus far and I'm thinking this is a sign that the second half won't be such a breeze.
Also, I fell asleep with my bottle of chocolate milk sitting on the nightstand last night. And when I woke up, it was in the fridge. I know it was SO that saved my chocolate milk from a slow, warm, overnight death and it made my whole morning when I saw it in there I love that man!
It's so much easier and less overwhelming once you start actually doing it. It definitely can be overwhelming at first with all the different types and brands!
Mama to a little girl born July 2011 and a little boy born April 2014!
Ahhhhh.... New Pillow and I slept through the night for the first time in months. It's glorious. Now I can't wait until his friend New Bed gets here. I may be more excited for that than I am for my A/S on Monday...

I feel like I "popped" a couple of weeks ago, but I put on a maxi dress (don't care if it's 30 degrees outside) and I look and feel enormous!!! DH said it looked like I was trying to steal a basketball. When did this happen!!!!!???
Soooo, pumpkin cheesecake failed. I hate the foil they have here, its really thin. So, it sprung a leak and all the water leaked in to the cheesecake. The top was really tasty though. LOL.

This has happened to me before. And I cried/had a bitch fit. And I wasn't pregnant. Sorry that happened.
I just laughed. I'm glad my hormones were in the right mood for this :-D
Sorry about your cheesecake I just put up our Christmas tree and a few small decorations, and now I'm exhausted! I have a bunch of dishes to wash, and my house is a mess. We are having a few people over tonight, so I need to clean it up, but I just want to sit on the couch and watch tv

I hope we can get our Christmas tree and put it up on Monday. We need to enjoy it before we leave on the 23rd!
Is excess earwax a pregnancy thing? I used to be able to just clean my ears one a day after a shower, but now I feel like I need to do it 2-3 times or it's building up and getting gross.

That is HORRIBLE!! Poor cheesecake
I made my first cheesecake the other day and didn't have a pan big enough to water bathe it in...so, I cooked it without. Turned out perfect! In talking to my mom, she has never water bathed her cheesecakes and says they always turn out great. It almost seems like the risk isn't work it!! No one wants a water logged cheesecake

Yea....I think I found a compromise I can make tomorrow. I think if I ever do it again, I'll skip the water bath and see what happens.
@TallaB. If your foil is too thin you should do 2 layers. But you don't NEED a water bath, you could just lower the baking temp and cook it longer- just make sure your batter is room temp! Good luck with the tarts! I am sure they will be delicious!
We got 11 CD's, 2 covers, 6 pre folds, starter detergent, and 2 cloth wipes for $140! Next week my FIL should be back in town and he is supposed to be bringing me all of my SIL's CD's, a brand new breast pump, several carriers, and who knows what else!

DH has friends coming over for a poker night tonight. So I've been cleaning all day and now I don't feel like taking a shower. Bath time it is! I washed my hair yesterday. That counts as something right?
Oh and I'm secretly hoping none of the GFs/DWs come so I can just relax and not share my chips. I really don't want to act like I fit in with all these women when I don't. Haha!
Being a stepmom to a 4yr old is hard. I've been in her life for 2 yrs and sometimes my opinion matters, and sometimes it doesn't. I just hope DH knows that this baby is mine too so I WILL have a say. Period.
After almost 5 months into this pregnancy I still haven't bought not one item for LO. I can't even bring myself to pick a color for the accent wall her crib will go on. I think I am waiting on bad news from the specialist on the 12th... I love her and feel her moving daily just don't know how to feel these days.
Aw, nat! Hugs lady, I know exactly how ya feels! I haven't even started cleaning out the closet in the room that will be the nursery.. I don't want to have to 'undo' it. Sigh. Hugs, again some more!
I've been feeling them for weeks and DD has even already felt them on the outside, but my SO just felt them on the outside for the first time tonight! Super excited too.

With DD it took weeks for DH to get lucky enough to catch the kicks too. How fun that first time is!

Did it come in a box marked "Fragile"?
I can go to bed happy.
ETA: Watching Star Wars (Ep. IV) at the time, so I am exceptionally proud of baby for being a SW fan.
