I may have only been able to stomach a tiny, gravy-laden piece of turkey, but that pumpkin pie from Perkins my SIL bought? Two slices in a row.

Now it's nearly 5am and I'm wrapped up in a blanket eating more pumpkin pie while watching Glee. Fuck being a work zombie--this is waaaaay more important!!

It's 4:30am, I'm lying in bed at my mom's house, and I can't sleep. Why, you ask? Cause I'm still burping up dinner so reflux is bugging me (thanks, Mom, for the bottle of Tums), and the bed is akin to sleeping on a giant block of Jell-o that's lying on top of a trampoline. Every time DH moves, we go jiggling and bouncing away for a solid 20 seconds. SO. ANNOYING.

Also, I finished all my emails this morning. I feel very happy. Now I'm going to go buy maternity tights because my regular concert tights are NOT comfortable. Also, buying ingredients for pumpkin cheesecake. Sunday we're having a little Thanksgiving here. OH! And I slept, so today is a good day so far!!

Got home at 4 am, up and showered now, back out! All shopping will be completed! Baby enjoyed breakfast buffet at 3am, too, lol.

Yes...cake.  The Thanksgiving cake that SO made yesterday will be my second breakfast in about an hour....maybe less.

PSA: Subway just emailed me about December being customer appreciation month. $2 6in cold cut combo or meatball marinara ALL MONTH LONG! I think I could feel the baby squirming just reading about it. Sandwiches appear to be the only way I can eat meat, so sandwiches we shall have...all month

SO's white trash brother and his pregnant girlfriend showed up to a family gathering for once yesterday. I just grit my teeth when I see her because... I'm not saying it's wrong, but that woman has a five year old that isn't potty trained (she is not learning disabled or handicapped), she has been smoking cigarettes the entire pregnancy, she was drinking a large bottle of mountain dew, and they are naming their son Jaxon. I can't even... Ugh ~X(

My best friend since kindergarten just asked me to be in her wedding in late May. I said yes. I hope I am not kicking myself when the time comes.

So, we're playing this crazy heavy metal concert. First of all, I have never heard audiences scream so loud. INSANE! But the most insane part? In one song, this really beautiful Icelandic woman comes out. She looks like she's going to sing some heavenly solo, but then she belts out this crazy solo in a heavy metal, deep, scream (think, low death metal grunt.) It goes on for like 2 minutes. Its seriously one of the most amazing things I've ever seen or heard.

Ugh. Coming up on my A/S makes me so so nervous. I haven't felt any movement today except for a couple "maybes" no matter what I do, which stresses me out. Definitely a far cry from the obvious wiggles I have been feeling for the past week and a half. I know everything is almost certainly fine but what I wouldn't give for one obvious thump right about now. I hate pre-appointment jitters.

@bluebird2318 I get the same way before every appointment. Our little peanut decided to make his presence definitively known the day after his a/s. Before, nothing! Now, a week later and I'm getting poked on a daily basis. I'll send happy thoughts for an uneventful a/s!

All I wanna do is lay on my back, dangit... I keep waking up with a numb arm or something and rolling back over onto my side. And my MIL is very sweet to wanna get me as many gifts as possible at my shower, but FFS lady, I don't have any more people to invite. Just send out the damn save the date cards and quit wakin me up with text messages asking if I'm sure there's no one else we can add to the list. And now I have to pee (

Thanks, ladies! :x There is nothing like the last few days before an appointment to drive you crazy, and nothing like the first few days after a good appointment to make you feel great, right?

In other news, my nephew threw his sippy cup at me a little while ago and hit me dead on the nose--OUCH! It's still a little sore. ( It has just been one of those days!

This looks like fun lol. I love red pandas. I fell yesterday. Again. I think my baby lives in my bladder she is so low. I can't wait till my scan on the 10th I want to see where placenta is. I've been soooo depressed almost this whole pregnancy. Can't wait till bf comes to watch a movie. Oop I just got a jab. She's always at my bikini line. Move on up girl.

Gale force winds AGAIN!? Its like 2 or 3 times a week lately. Luckily, it kinda makes me fall asleep. Maybe I'll catch a few more hours now!

Still at my dad's and have had the best sleep ever here.  We are in a basement bedroom with the windows blacked out.  Combine that with earplugs and I am like a bear in a cave!

I just put my pumpkin cheesecake in to the oven. I tasted the mix before putting the eggs in, I could have eaten the mix. Mmmm. Now, lets just hope it bakes well. Yay Expat Thanksgiving!!!
