@francesgs sending you lots of love ❤️ I can't imagine how getting some jarring new can make you feel. Please take the time that you need to feel those feelings and to process everything.
Everyone so far has had some great feedback and personal stories and I'm glad that they shared. I echo their thoughts that the majority of the kids out there aren't mean, the young ones are inquisitive. This group is here for any support you need ❤️
@francesgs My thoughts and prayers are with you!❤️ Allow yourself to feel and process all the information however you need. I believe your baby will be resilient and stronger through all this…. look up NFL football player Shaquem Griffin. He is a defensive-man but was born without a hand and that did not hold him back! I know this probably doesn’t help your feelings but we are all here to provide support if you need it! That baby Is PERFECT in God’s eyes and there is a reason he made YOU their momma❤️!!
@francesgs echoing what lots of others are saying- feel all the feelings you have. Little kids are curious but also so loving. The more kids talk about different bodies and abilities at a young age the less jerks there will be when they get older.
I want to thank all of you for your kind and encouraging words.. they truly meant so much to me and made me cry but for a good reason this time. I am so grateful for all of you ladies.
I think just getting more bad than good news at one time was just too overwhelming especially when it comes to my unborn baby and I just lost it. My Dr didn't help matters much. She basically told me what was wrong handed me pamphlet with my appt time and day on it and then told me the high risk Dr will tell me more...like what? It was just too much and it hit me like a bus and then she left the room.
Right now, I am taking it one day at a time and trying to not stress too much about everything going on.. it is certainly a lot harder said than done. I am still so anxious for next week's appt. and trying to stay busy busy!
@francesgs what day is your appointment with the high risk doc? Keeping you in my thoughts ❤️

@francesgs - hugs mama! I'm so glad people were able to share personal experiences about going to school and knowing people like that to give you some peace of mind. I hope and pray that everything else looks perfect at your high risk appointment and that you are supported and treated better by that doctor!
Had our anatomy scan today! Every thing looks good which is a relief although she is a stubborn little thing already and would not give us a good profile view. She is still a girl and a little wiggle worm at that. I go back in 3 weeks so they can get some measurements of things she wouldn’t cooperate for. This is the best profile picture we could get.
We had our high risk appointment today. Unfortunately, the news we got is worse than last week. My sweet baby unfortunately will not make it to 21 weeks. We are medically terminating this pregnancy. This is the hardest thing I will ever go through in my life and I do not wish this feeling on anyone. I do so truly hope that all of you have beautiful healthy babies and it was nice to be here while I was. Thank you all so much for the support, advice and conversation over these last 5 months.
@francesgs oh Hun, big hugs to you mama! I unfortunately have been in your footsteps before and the best advice I can give is be gentle with yourself. Don't be afraid to tell people what you need whether it's space or quality time, to talk about it or to not talk about it, and don't be afraid to flat out tell people if their comments are not helpful. A lot of times in this situation people don't know what to say and end up saying stupid things. The best thing someone said to me was simply "well this f*c*ing sucks". Be gentle with your partner and have open dialogue about both your needs as well. My needs and my husband's were two totally different things and that communication was vital for navigating through this together. All my love is with you, mama. 💕
@francesgs - my heart breaks for you. We had to terminate for medical reasons after our anatomy scan about a year and a half ago. If you need to chat with someone who has been through a similar experience I'd be happy to share my phone number or connect on a different social media platform - send me a DM if and when you feel like connecting. ❤
@francesgs oh no I'm so sorry 😞. I had a friend who had to do the same so I only know second hand how difficult this news is after an anatomy scan. Be kind to yourself and stay strong friend. Wishing you all the best ❤️

Our anatomy scan on Friday confirmed the NIPT test - we are team pink/pink over here!! Baby A (presenting, which obviously is the one closest to my cervix) is roughly 10oz and Baby B is roughly 11 oz. It is so defeating to know neither of them are even close to a pound yet and I already feel so huge. Baby B has a weird cord attachment where it attached not quite where it needs to be on the placenta, which can lead to growth restrictions. But that isn't a concern as of yet. I get regular growth scans anyway with multiples because fundal height isn't accurate for baby's weight.
I had my 20 week US today! Baby is looking good and measuring 2 weeks ahead at 1 lb which is no surprise to me because I know their date was off. My placenta is low but my DR didn’t seem at all concerned and thinks it’ll move up.
We had our anatomy scan today! 19w5d. Sorry for the photo dump. We even got one of her looking at us with her mouth open that MH has deemed the Voldemort picture lol.

TTC #1: 4/2017 Testing: HSG, U/S, BW, and DH's SA all normal DX: Unexplained 8/2018: Clomid + TI = BFN 9/2018: Clomid + TI + Progesterone = BFN 11/2018: Clomid + IUI + Progesterone = BFN 12/2018: Letrozole + IUI + Progesterone \\ Cancelled due to cyst 1/2019: Letrozole + IUI + Progesterone = BFP! \\ EDD Sept 30th, 2019 10/7/2019: Healthy baby boy!
We had our scan last Friday. Maybe my most fun ultrasound ever! Our baby boy had hiccups in the beginning, the tech flipped to 3D/4d and we got some great pictures of his face and then he fell asleep. I’m measuring a little ahead and he’s about 14oz. Since he fell asleep and wouldn’t move, we couldn’t get a picture of his spine so I’ll get another u/s for that next appointment.
Scan yesterday (20w2d) showed a healthy baby boy! US tech needs a better view of one spot of the heart and I have a low-lying placenta so I get another scan in 4 weeks. Hopefully I'll get better pictures at that visit.
@butcaniskipreggo omg we got one of those creepy photos too! My friend and I simultaneously said "oh no! The skeletor picture!" When we opened the envelope in the reception area. Oops 🤷🏼♀️🤣
@francesgs I’m so sorry to hear! I can’t imagine what you are feeling. Please take care of yourself and don’t ever feel guilty telling someone you don’t want to talk about it or hear their comments. Cope in whatever way is healthy and needed for you. Thoughts and prayers are with you 💓
We had to go back Friday to get a scan of the spine since they couldn’t get that shot last time and the ultrasound tech surprised us with another 3D shot of his face! 🥰 I feel like he looks like my youngest and he likes to sleep like both my daughters (arm up) ❤️❤️❤️
