Introduce yourself: HI I'm Heather! I'm 36 and found out I was pregnant about 2 weeks ago. My husband and I tried for 4 months. This is our first pregnancy!
Due date? Based on 1st day of last cycle, 4/12/21
How did you find out? We were trying, so during my 2 week wait I tested every day (sometimes multiple times a day). I got a second, very faint line in the evening. I waited the next day to test again and tell my husband. I wrote on a pie in frosting "we're pregnant!"
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I work from home as a full time artist and my husband also works from home as a video game programmer. We have 2 cats, 6 chickens, and a lizard. We love nature and get out when we can. I'm passionate about art.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Excited and nervous. Trying to stay positive and hoping for a healthy pregnancy. Symptoms are pretty mild. I haven't had any morning sickness and barely any nausea. The main symptoms I feel are breast soreness, constipation, mild cramping, and so so so tired!
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us about a superstition you have or used to have! I believe that if you see two yolks in an egg it means twins! So every time I crack an egg these days I look for 2 yolks 😂
Hi Everyone! Super nervous and excited to be here, and trying to learn all the forum rules : ) Happy Monday! Also, promise I’m usually better at technology but hope I did this right on my iPhone in hitting reply to initial thread.
Due date? April 23, 2022 per The Bump’s calculator
How did you find out? Positive HPT 14 DPO on 8/14, 3 successive BFPs with darker lines
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m 34, Married for 5 years in October, first time trying, first time mom. I’m a director at a non-profit for people with special needs, husband is an electrical engineer specializing in pharmaceuticals. We have an adorable Yorkie named Fettuccine that we obsess over every day. We love house projects, and I love trying to learn how to garden, hiking, and swimming.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Cautiously excited. Nervous that I won’t see a doctor until 8 weeks. I have a uterine fibroid (not in the cavity) they have been watching for a few years, that hasn’t been measured in a year. Hoping that doesn’t complicate things. Also, I’ve found myself getting easily frustrated which is not me at all 😆
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us about a superstition you have or used to have! My family is Irish, so when I was a little my grandmother would scold me for breaking any of them haha-hat on a bad, step on a crack, shoes on a table. I don’t follow those now : )
How did you find out? Didn’t believe it for about 4 days because the line was sooooooo faint! Most anxiety riddled days I’ve ever had. Was running on like 4 hours of sleep a night. Haha.
Tell us about yourself: First time mom after TTC for 15 months. I’m a health coach and hypnotherapist. Love anything outdoors and active (currently trying to find the balance of exercise and pregnancy because I’m so used to pushing myself very hard). My husband is super excited. He’s in IT and is an amazing potter on the side.
How are you feeling? Met with 2 midwives and decided on one yesterday. First appointment isn’t until 10 weeks. Tender boobs, cramping, little splitting here and there. Very emotional. Such a roller coaster of excitement, fear, anxiety, overwhelm, etc. nobody told me that even if you were planning to get pregnant, it can be really hard to adjust at first, so these emotions really took me by surprise.
GTKY Fun fact: I used to have to touch the outside of a plane before getting on the ensure a good fight. Haha. So dumb.
Introduce yourself: Hello, all! So surreal to be here. I’m Paige, about to be a STM.
Due date? April 28
How did you find out? I didn’t find out with my first pregnancy until after I missed my period, but this past week I have been feeling all the things I did with my first: Extremely hot, generally tired, but sleeping like a rock (I’m usually a very light sleeper). AF wasn’t expected until Wednesday but I just had a feeling and I tested Monday morning only to find a BFP. We are over the moon.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?): DH and I live in Hawaii with our 6yo DD. We are waiting to tell her until after my first ultrasound appt but it will be so difficult to keep it from her: She is my best friend and I just adore her. She is going to be such an amazing big sister (I’m crying writing this!). I am a NICU/nursery RN and an IBCLC, and DH is a hydrologist. We are total beach bums so you can usually find us surfing, paddle boarding, snorkeling, and hiking, although my “self care” involves a good book and a cup of tea. We have two cats named Archie Andrews and Tori. Archie will be so happy to have another friend— he has loved DD since we brought her home— but Tori is supremely indifferent in true cat fashion.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I haven’t called my midwife yet— since I work with a bunch of them I already had one picked out that I had been talking to when we were TTC. It’s still so early (not even four weeks?!) and DH is getting ready to go to the mainland for a few weeks so I’m taking things easy. I spent a good hour yesterday just sobbing out of happiness but now there’s just a general giddy disbelief that this is really happening!
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us about a superstition you have or used to have! RNs have a lot of weird superstitions at work! We don’t say “calm”, “easy”, “quiet”, or “slow” because without fail things will start hitting the fan. If there is a difficult delivery that I may have to attend I put on all my gear (PPE, stethoscope, N95, etc) because if I’m ready nothing will happen. If I’m starting an IV I always bring three catheters because if I only bring one I’m not going to get it. We don’t use certain rooms on our unit because they have bad vibes. And a full moon is like a welcome sign— our census goes through the roof without fail so I have been known to base my schedule around the lunar calendar!
@knottie9f75b2a9950a8f58 welcome! Feel free to change your username so we can all tag you a little more easily. I love being active and outside, too, and I totally feel you on the wild emotional ride.
@loveanddatadriven Aw, thank you so much! I feel like it’s so early for me to join here but since we’re waiting to tell everyone I need some support and I know this place is a great village.
@maggiemadeit Hooray! Congratulations! My first was 5 weeks early so we’ll see what happens!
How did you find out: We were TTC and I took a test early and it was +. I was not expecting to be able to tell that early lol.
Tell us about yourself: I have a 1yr old DD. I'm still on mat leave but go back to work in a few weeks; which I'm not looking forward to doing during my FT. 😅 We like to hike and go backpacking in the mountains. I like to keep active but struggled with it in my last pregnancy because it was causing abnormal cramping. I'm hoping to be able to continue exercising during this pregnancy.
How are you feeling? Pretty bloated but otherwise fine. I was lucky and got accepted into my midwife's care. First appointment is Sept 22.
GTKY Fun Fact: I don't have any superstitions now and can't think of any that I did have.
Introduce yourself: Hey guys! I'm Ashley and this'll be my third kiddo. I was a member of TB for all my pregnancies and am excited to jump in!
Due date? 4.30
How did you find out? Woke this morning and my temp had dropped significantly, so I was confused but disappointed bc my period isn't for a few days so the temp drop was weird. Today was 10DPO and I was gonna test anyway so I just dragged my butt out of bed and did it-and got the positive! So it's early...not even 4 weeks.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am a elementary math Specialist/ coach in VT. I absolutely love living here and wouldn't change it for the world. I've been married for 11 years and we have two boys who are 6 and 3. In spare time I cook, read, and write. We also hike a lot and try to do it year round!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Cramps and bloating, but nothing else. No appt yet, when I actually miss my period Saturday I'll call in and get one. Emotionally...I can't believe we're adding another to our crazy world...but so stoked!
TW child loss
I lost a girl between my boys at 5 days post birth to a heart condition that wasn't caught. There's no know family history or reason. So emotionally for 23 weeks I get a little nervous until the tests, scan, and fetal echo are done.
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us about a superstition you have or used to have! I took my little brother to a lot of concerts. We always had rules: don't listen to the music on the way to the show and don't wear the shirt of the band you're seeing to the show. It's supposed to be bad luck. Once on our way to see Fall Out Boy we heard a song of theirs on the radio and the show got postponed!
To this day, when H and I go to a show (and when we used to run races) I would say "don't wear the shirt to the show! Pick a cool related band tee( or other race shirt) and wear that!
Introduce yourself: Hi Everyone! I am also a first-time mom-to-be, 33 and living in Melbourne, Australia.
Due date? April 24th, 2022
How did you find out? I have had to deal with vaginismus throughout my adult life and was going in for IUI treatment. But just before that we tried out a home insemination kit called "Mosie Baby" which I would recommend to any couple who are having trouble conceiving. If AF arrived I was going to start IUI but since it was a day late I tried a pregnancy test which came out positive and have also done a blood test to confirm. Still very much in shock that it happened to me against all odds!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) We have our fur baby Sebastian who is a lab. Very much our first baby who we adore. I work in finance and DH is an engineer. We have been married for 6 and together for 10. I like to be outdoors when I can, used to run but haven't had the mojo for a few months now.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I have had no symptoms until last night and today, which is a severe headache. We have a 6-week scan in 2 weeks' time. I have had close friends and family go through a few MC's recently so that is very much in my mind like a dark cloud.
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us about a superstition you have or used to have! I am not supersitious I'm just a little-sticious  (to quote Michael Scott!) I have wished on an eyelashes!
Introduce yourself: I’m Stephanie. 31, found I was expecting almost two weeks ago.
Due date? 4/17 -ish
How did you find out? My fiancé brought home a box of first response. Tried one for the hell of it because we both had our suspicions. Clear as day positive!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) Two dogs, two cats, a 5 year old step son, and fiancé-getting married in October! Thank goodness my dress isn’t form fitting 🤣 this is actually our 4th pregnancy in 3 years. All three previous were 1st trimester miscarriages.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) feeling good! A lot more tired at end of the day, worn out and breathless easily, and bouts of nausea triggered by food, smells, acid reflux etc
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us about a superstition you have or used to have! Ummm… hmmm. I don’t step on cracks on the side walk. And I tend to “knock on wood”… a lot 😂
@aloha_mama hello! @fameonmain2 hello as well! And @loveanddatadriven! I was gonna wait for May because my due date is so late but I know a few people here already so it felt like a good place to be!
Introduce yourself: Hello! My name is Natasha, first time mom-to-be here. 6 weeks as of today according to my app!
Due date? April 20th (again, according to my app). I have my first ultrasound next week so we will have a better idea on the exact due date then.
How did you find out? I thought I had gotten my period but it turns out it was just implantation. There was no spotting the next day and then a couple days went by with no period. I had plans to get drinks with a friend so I decided to take a test to be safe - I was so excited and overwhelmed to see that positive! My partner and I had been trying for 7 months.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) We are outside of Toronto in Ontario, Canada. We have two dogs that are going to be fantastic fur-siblings. I am in sales and my husband is an industrial flat roofer.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Sore boobs have been a consistent symptom. I had some cramping in week four & five and have periodic waves of exhaustion, headaches, mood swings, but nothing too life-altering. I've been dealing with a lot of anxiety. I'm trying to stay positive and enjoy this time! Time is moving so slowly though.
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us about a superstition you have or used to have! I'm really not a superstitious person!
Introduce yourself: My name is Nikki. I see another Nikki on here too
Due date? 4-3-22
How did you find out? I had implantation bleeding about 5 days before period was due while on business trip. Tested positive 3 days before period due when I got home from trip using some little cheap tests I bought in bulk off of Amazon.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am a lawyer (litigator). I own my own law firm with a few friends. We practice a very specialized kind of civil rights focused law and it's my dream job. H is an artist. His dream job too. We are very lucky I have two children from my first marriage -- a 13 y/o boy and a 12 y/o girl. They are less than a year apart and in the same grade. They are so wonderful. H has three from prior relationships, plus one grandchild! This is our first together and probably only because we are very old. I just turned 43 and he is 45. We have a gentle, stinky old lab named Iggy. We are currently working on renovations to our 100 y/o craftsman home. My life is so busy that I really just love reading, eating, spending time with my kids and H, listening to good music, and family travel in our spare time.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I feel pretty great. I never suffered from morning sickness with my prior pregnancies and so far it's been the same this time. My worst first trimester symptom in prior pregnancies was fatigue. Again, it's the same this time. I fall asleep after lunch at my desk (good thing I have a chair that reclines); I fall asleep every time I sit in front of the TV.; down for the count before 10 p.m. every night. I am a high risk pregnancy because of my age and because of several other health conditions. In addition, my oldest was born with a cleft lip and palate. Had my first appointment last week. All was well. Saw heartbeat in ultrasound. Feeling very nervous and cautious about this baby and looking forward the special care that I will receive with the high risk team I am seeing.
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us about a superstition you have or used to have!
I am very superstitious, which I hate. It slightly feels like OCD sometimes, but it's not that bad. My silliest superstition is one that I made up as a little kid that I can't get rid of. I have to flush the toilet before all of the toilet paper sinks into the water and gets saturated or else I will have bad luck.
I was on a family vacation and even though DH and I were TTC I was fully anticipating AF to arrive halfway through, just didn't think it was our month- plus I felt all the symptoms of her visiting. Then a day late, another, etc. I did notice more bathroom trips and heartburn while away and so I took a test as soon as we got back and got that + within seconds!
This will be our third and our Tie Breaker, DD is 5 and DS will be 3 in a few months. We don't mind what way this tie ends, but I want to do a mini reveal for DD because her reaction will surely be worth it. I'm a day dreamer so I like listening to music, drawing/ painting, writing, even crochet when I feel the whim. DH is a big PC guy so he's always on his computer either gaming or on reddit or chatting with his long time gamer friends.
I started out hesitantly excited but I've decided to enjoy this and just hope everything will happen smoothly, I'm taking my early symptoms as a good sign. We don't really want to tell family till later, we partly plan on leaving hints and see who picks up on them. (Like 3 pics in a picture frame of our kid's US; me crocheting a 3rd blanket similar to my kid's, etc)
GTKY Fun fact: I don't buy things from garage/yard sales, kind of a family rule that not many of us follow. I've heard too many stories passed down of items acquired that had energies/spirits attached and I'd rather not deal with that 😅. I also used to have clairvoyant dreams, and on occasion still have clairvoyant moments (like guessing the next card/suit in a game). It's not at all a trained talent and probably just luck honestly (not sure about the dreams though).
Introduce yourself: Hi! I'm Jenny. I'm 37 and hoping to become a STM after a MMC at 9wks last March and going through the IVF rollercoaster (4 failed IUI, 1st IVF cycle one made it to blast but the FET didn't stick, 2nd cycle 5(!) blasts and 4 PGS normal, and this time 1st FET success!). HCG confirmed to be increasing well after the second beta today, so finally comfortable joining the group. I haven't been on the community groups on the bump before, but it definitely seems a little less chaotic here than the groups on the other platforms!
Due date? 4/24/22 (the day before my 38th birthday!)
How did you find out? Couldn't wait for our scheduled HCG at 10dp5dt, so took a home test at 5dpt (a week ago) and got a positive!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) Our first son is 2.5yo (11/24/18), and we have 4 fur babies - 3 cats and a dog. I'm a veterinarian - mostly small animal GP, but some ER work when I have time to help out. My husband and I have been married for 16 years. He's retiring after 20yrs in the military next year and will be going into software engineering. We love to get outside as much as we can (when the weather's not unbearably hot) - mountain biking, hiking, kayaking, gardening, etc. I also love volunteering at our local aquarium, but haven't had as much time for that since our DS was born.
How are you feeling? ( First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Very excited, but I've been a nervous wreck! I feel a little better after the good looking betas, but after the MMC last time I don't think I'll start to relax a little until after I can feel him moving. First US will be on 9/3. I've been exhausted, a little nauseous on and off and terrible insomnia, but I think that's more from nerves than true pregnancy symptoms!
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us about a superstition you have or used: None in my personal life, but very similar to @aloha_mama plenty at work, especially in the ER. In the vet world we also have the same taboo on saying anything about it being quiet or slow, we fear the full moon, and we try to over prepare for procedures, surgery etc. to ward off the bad juju. Funny to see the same thing for human med but it makes sense!
@kiwi2628 Nice! Thank you for the welcome ☺️ I missed that you were a vet the first time reading through the bios. Seems like a lot of us wind up in IVF/infertility treatment.
Introduce yourself: I'm a nurse in a rural small town, pregnant with baby #3.
Due date? 4/20/22
How did you find out? Took a test 6 days before my missed period and it was positive. Took another test the 2 days after that and each one was darker than the day before.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) Husband, 2 daughters - 4 and almost 6, 1 dog. I like to scrapbook in my spare time!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Feeling normal so far, a little bloating. No appointments set up yet.
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us about a superstition you have or used to have! I always have to check behind a closed shower curtain!
Introduce yourself: I'm Becky. I'm 35. I live in a small town in PA. My user name is boo bop girl which is a nickname I had as a kid. It's not about boobs.😝
Due date? 4/28 by missed period, 4/22-4/25 by when we likely conceived
How did you find out? We had a condom fail so I was watching for symptoms. Started peeing more and bloating. Boobs got sore. And the biggest tell for me is that my migraines abruptly stopped. Took a whole pile of HPTs over the last week to make sure and all positive and getting darker.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband is an engineer currently unemployed because covid related reasons. I'm a SAHM to four kids. Boys age 2.5 and almost 4. And girls age almost 6 and 7.5. I'm teacher certified and using that background to homeschool for a whole lot of reasons (transportation, 3 of our kids have a medical issue that would likely make them miss school or be late a lot, some religious reasons, just wanting to avoid the bullying aspect and pressures that come with public school). I also do some online and in person tutoring.
We were supposed to be done at 4 kids, but just with the way this one happened, obviously we feel God had other plans. I like to crochet and sew and I'm pretty musical (violin, piano, vocal) so those are my things. Until covid I was teaching violin but my students' families were all too stressed/scared to continue lessons.😩
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) So I'm overjoyed to be having another baby but I'm also freaking out. We are going to have to move as our apt is already too small for the 6 of us, much less 7. And also telling ppl it's number 5 plus with DH being unemployed....I know it will all work out but it's still...fearing the backlash. Wrapping my head around starting the school year with morning sickness, moving in the middle, and ending with a new baby is like. 😬
Physically, I'm having some cramping and bloating, peeing a lot, sore boobs, and so so thirsty. Not really nauseous but food doesn't really appeal to me. Tired...so so tired.
GTKY Fun fact: I used to have an angel clip on my car visor that said "daughter please drive carefully." I used to blow it a kiss any time I gunned it through a yellow light or any time I drove past a cop.
I also have a weird fear that telling people we're expecting will make me miscarry.
Introduce yourself: Hi am Tayler am in my 30s and this will be my 2nd
Due date? April 21’ 2022
How did you find out? I track my cycle and determined i was a week late and took a test
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and i have been together 10 years we have a 7 year old. Hubby is brick mason and am full time college student 🤦🏻♀️( bad timing) lol
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I am feeling tired and anxious i have Uterine didelphys and have couple previous MC
Due date? Most likely 4.22.22 will know more after HCG and dating u/s
How did you find out? I have PCOS and prescribed medication to start my period but needed to test before taking. Shocked it was positive. Especially with the PCOS and years of infertility issues. Also had just put an offer in on a new home and they had accepted the offer the night before so it’s been a crazy week to say the least.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) Married and have been with my DH for almost 13 yrs, we have an almost 9 year old son and a 6 year old daughter. We have two Boston’s and a Siamese Cat. I’m a dog groomer and own my grooming salon.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) Feeling great! Take HCG tests next week so hope those go well.
GTKY Fun fact: I know black cats aren’t super natural or anything but a stray black cat started hanging out around our neighbors house after he died in the home this year. This neighbor was notorious for hating cats in the neighborhood. The cat was first seen the night he died, and then randomly I would see the cat hanging out on the front lawn of the now empty house. It’s silly but every time I looked out my window and saw the cat laying on the driveway it gave me pause. Another neighbor started feeding it and was able to trap it and get it to animal control.
How did you find out: we were TTC so I found out on 8/16 (our 7th anniversary) when I was only 3w2d.
Tell us about yourself: this is baby #3 for us. I have 2 boys who are 5 and 2. We also have a 1 year old lab.
How are you feeling? Very excited but very anxious. It’s hard not to compare this pregnancy to my other 2. First appointment is on 9/1. So far just tired, trouble sleeping, sensitive to smells, bloated, cramping, heartburn and very moody.
GTKY Fun fact: I tend to be superstitious about everything 😬
Introduce yourself: Hey guys. Bekah here! 1st bah-beh on the way
Due date? 4/22
How did you find out? I had spotting an entire week before period was due , and then period was late. Took a test and voila!
Tell us about yourself: 32, digital marketer. Husband and I excited for the first!! We have 2 dogs, and some gardens. I enjoy all fine arts, food, coffee, kayaking, camping, exploring, hiking.
How are you feeling? Currently traveling out of state, so haven't had any official doctor appointments yet. I've had a midwife appointment scheduled for 9 weeks. I'm feeling great, apart from insomnia and exhaustion.
Hi everyone. I’m due May 7th based on ovulation day, but would deliver a couple of weeks early if I make it. So I’m posting here too. May 2022 just had me so far, lol.
Trigger warning for my story (loss, infertility)
I’m 9dpo and got a faint positive today.
On June 4th 2021, I got induced and my son Elliot was born sleeping with no known cause, I was 20 weeks along, found out he had passed at the anatomy scan. He was my fifth pregnancy and 4th loss. I have mixed feelings and am sad/cautiously hopeful. Elliot took 18 months to get pregnant with. Prior to him and this time around we got pregnant on the first try.
I got nausea already which is very early for me, so I hope it’s a good sign. We did letrozole after my first period with confirmed ovulation via ultrasound. Im awaiting a bunch of genetic testing still. I’ll be on progesterone and lovenox and baby aspirin this time around. As well as metformin for my PCOS.
I have a 7yr old boy with autism and own a business, we got a lot on our plate like many.
Hi! Happy to be back on the bump after a looong hiatus.
Due date estimated: April 28
How did you find out?
Late period while camping. POS when we made it home. 🤯
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m a married boy mom with 3 boys. I work remotely full time. We thought we were done with 3, but were shocked this week to find that a #4 was on the way!
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I’m 41, so I’m nervous with this one, but very excited at the same time!
How did you find out? Home pregnancy test after period was a week late.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) We have a son from IUI born 10/1/2012, in the process of finalizing an international adoption of a 4yo and super surprised at this BFP since I’m almost 44yo!!! We also have a 5yo Boston terrier.

Hi I’m Jules (40) expecting for 5th time (3 miscarriages and 1 live birth).
DD: 4/14/22
How I found out: Thought I was going through pre-menopause having a bunch of symptoms so I went to the doctor to see how I could manage also missed period. Was convinced that it was pre-menopause so I went in to talk to the doctor we are talking about doing some bloodwork and figure out some treatments to manage it. Meanwhile I had taken a pregnancy test just as a precaution but did not think I was pregnant. She came in to discuss and I asked is a pregnancy test was negative and she said she had checked it yet we continue to talk about bloodwork and then she left and came back and she says oh that changes things a pregnancy test was positive.
About me: Mom to son who’s 17 in October. Tried to get pregnant again when he was 13 and has a three miscarriages within a year and a half including one IVF. Gave up on trying. Have two beagle rescues Jerry (6) and Gordie (4) Instagram jerry_from_jersey. I stay home and my husband works for Weather Channel/ IBM in NYC.
How I’m feeling: Nauseous all the time. Nausea without throwing up which is annoying Because then I think I would feel better. Sore nipples, cramps and some food aversions and odor adversions. Forcing myself to eat even though I’m afraid everything’s going to make me sick. Thought I was seven weeks two days I went to my ultrasound and I am six weeks five days. Saw a strong heartbeat of 118. They mention they like to see it at 120 so try not to be too concerned.
Fun fact/superstition: no superstition. I’m left footed, right with my right hand but eat and drink with both.
Introduce yourself: Hello! My name is Jackie. I’m 28 years old, and this will be my first child.
Due date? 4/03/22
How did you find out? My husband and I were trying. I took a test (and three more) the day after I saw spotting from implantation.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets? Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I’m a teacher who is trying to leave the profession. It’s no longer my passion. I long to find some kind of job where I can work remote and do something I love. Being a project manager or business coordinator has sparked my interest.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?) I’m feeling good overall. I’m very lucky to say that I have mild symptoms. I always carry saltine crackers and ginger ale on me in just in case I feel off for a day. My first appointment is tomorrow, and my husband was lucky enough to leave work early to come with me! We’re very excited!
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us about a superstition you have or used to have! I still don’t open up umbrellas inside the house or walk under ladders. I don’t know what’s supposed to happen if you do that, but I’m not looking to find out lol
Hi ladies !! My name is Taylor and I’m happy to be joining the April group 😊
im 28, been married for 10 years to my high school sweetheart . We have 3 beautiful kids together ages 9,7 and 4 . We totally thought we were done at 3 and then surprise #4 decided to show up . Hoping for a boy as we have 1 boy and 2 girls already but of course happy with a happy abs healthy baby. I’m a stay at home mom and have been since my first . My husband is a contractor . My due date is April 23rd and found out with a home pregnancy test due to my period being late. I have my first midwife appointment next week and I’m feeling a little anxious . I did a home birth with my last baby and plan on doing another one with this little one 😊
I think I am around 6+3. I have two little girls (4 and 6). My husband and I both work full-time from home. The past 18 months have been wild! We are in California where schools were closed most of last year and the year before and we’ve been balancing two kids + virtual school + full-time jobs and I really have a much MUCH greater appreciation for teachers than ever before.
I think due date is around 4/15, but I will have an ultrasound in the next few weeks to confirm.
I’ve been feeling absolutely nauseas and awful starting around 4pm each day which follows suit with my previous pregnancies. Today I noticed the sickness starting even earlier around lunch time (not cool!)
Our family is big into camping and travel as well as checking out new restaurants, galleries, hikes, etc.
Glad to be here and hopefully I can help or at least help support- after two kids you would think we would know it all but every day we are reminded that we pretty much have no idea what we are doing!
Re: Introductions!
Haha. So dumb.
Due date?
Due date?
GTKY Fun fact: Tell us about a superstition you have or used to have! I took my little brother to a lot of concerts. We always had rules: don't listen to the music on the way to the show and don't wear the shirt of the band you're seeing to the show. It's supposed to be bad luck. Once on our way to see Fall Out Boy we heard a song of theirs on the radio and the show got postponed!
To this day, when H and I go to a show (and when we used to run races) I would say "don't wear the shirt to the show! Pick a cool related band tee( or other race shirt) and wear that!
Hi Everyone!
Spouse/partner?)
We have our fur baby Sebastian who is a lab. Very much our first baby who we adore. I work in finance and DH is an engineer. We have been married for 6 and together for 10. I like to be outdoors when I can, used to run but haven't had the mojo for a few months now.
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?)
I have had no symptoms until last night and today, which is a severe headache.
Due date?
Due date?
Spouse/partner?)
I am a lawyer (litigator). I own my own law firm with a few friends. We practice a very specialized kind of civil rights focused law and it's my dream job. H is an artist. His dream job too. We are very lucky
How are you feeling? (First appointment? Any symptoms? Emotionally?)
I feel pretty great.
My EDD is 4/20
I was on a family vacation and even though DH and I were TTC I was fully anticipating AF to arrive halfway through, just didn't think it was our month- plus I felt all the symptoms of her visiting.
I'm both facinated and terrified about energies being attached to things. Are you interested at all in exploring your talents?
Hi @SmashJam! So happy to see you here!
Due date?
Spouse/partner?)
My husband is an engineer currently unemployed because covid related reasons.
Emotionally?)
So I'm overjoyed to be having another baby but I'm also freaking out.
GTKY Fun fact:
I used to have an angel clip on my car visor that said "daughter please drive carefully." I used to blow it a kiss any time I gunned it through a yellow light or any time I drove past a cop.
GTKY Fun fact: i have a split uterus..
Due date: 4/29
Due date? 4/22
How did you find out? I had spotting an entire week before period was due , and then period was late. Took a test and voila!

I don’t know what’s supposed to happen if you do that, but I’m not looking to find out lol
im 28, been married for 10 years to my high school sweetheart .
