I've been waiting all week for July to open up!! Excited to be here!
Due date? no ultrasound yet, but off of O date I am going with July 4. A Patriotic due date.
How did you find out? I did not cheat and take a test, so I waited for my first beta at 16DPO which came back positive with a number of 774
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) MH and I have been married for 8 years, we have two children together (DS 6, DD 3 in Jan) and he has two older daughters from a previous relationship (29 and 26). We have had to go the RE route for all of our pregnancies, and (TW) I suffered a really devastating miscarriage in May discovered at the 12 week ultrasound. I am cautiously optimistic about this one, but I have a good feeling. I run the office for my family business, I love home reno shows, drinking wine (I will miss this big time lol), spending time with my family, going to Target, and am huge into Christmas.
Fun Fact: My oldest step daughter has an almost 2 year old son who was born 10 months after my daughter and my younger stepdaughter is currently 12 weeks pregnant....yikes lol
First appointment? Any symptoms? Final beta draw on Thursday and then provided all is well I have my viability ultrasound two weeks from today at a little over 7 weeks. From there, it's on to my OB. Symptoms - nothing major yet, mood swings and bloating, waking up in the middle of the night to pee.
TTC this month and my breasts were SO SORE, so took an at-home test.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have three daughters - 21, 18, and 4 and one fur-baby - a v snuggly husky. I love running, yoga, playing the cello, knitting, reading, gardening, cooking, camping, and skiing. I’m a sommelier and my partner owns a nightclub here in Brooklyn so we also (in the before times) enjoyed going out/dancing/getting drinks.
First appointment? Any symptoms? My first appointment is scheduled for 11/30 and in addition to my sore boobs I’m tired af, taking a lot of naps
How did you find out? I was 5 days late so I decided to take a test. To my surprise I received a BFP. We weren’t trying but we are excited.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) DD is 14months, spouse and I have been married for 3 years, know each other for 10 years. Loving being active ( hiking, biking, working out, camping etc), drinking coffee (now decaf), Love animals but currently don’t have any.
First appointment? Any symptoms? First appointment is 11/25. I currently don’t have any symptoms but I also didn’t have any with DD.
How did you find out? Had a major migraine and was feeling exhausted. Tested at 8dpo and got a VVFL.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) We have a 14 month old and live abroad in Europe (though we’re both Canadians) and we have a sweet dog named Max! I like to cook, bake, read (when I have time), and do barre classes.
First appointment? Any symptoms? November 10, super excited. Lots of symptoms. Extremely nauseous/borderline gagging.
How did you find out? Tested at 10 DPO. Felt off at 8 DPO and had a feeling. Was surprised to see an obvious line on a cheapie. Tested on 2 other brands to be sure.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) Married for 8 years and we have an almost 18 mo DD (tomorrow!). With COVID we are lame and mostly work/talk about work and try to entertain our DD at home. In the past we loved traveling and doing anything outdoors. This will likely be our last child.
First appointment? Any symptoms? First appointment 11/20. Not much for symptoms yet. An occasional mild wave of nausea, mildly sore boobs, and some insomnia. Symptoms didn’t start with DD until 6 weeks and only got worse from there so I’m trying to enjoy food while I can
Due date? Not completely sure, suspect the first week of July.
How did you find out? I hadn't had AF in what seemed awhile and I felt off, took a test and while I wasnt surprised, I was. We weren't trying and thought we were done.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I've been married to my hubby for 10 years and we have 3 beautiful children. DD is 7, DS 5 and 2. We also have 2 lazy cats, Fred and Eevie, a new saint bernard puppy, Bru and a few chickens, lovingly known as the girls.
First appointment? Any symptoms? I have a phone call with my doctor on November 5. This will be my first rural pregnancy and being over the dreaded 35. Haha Congrats ladies!
How did you find out? I’m on cycle day 46 and had a slew of negative tests. Today I used my last test and was really surprised to see the second line pop up so fast.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?). Husband and I have been married for 7.5 years, we have a 4 year old son and this is my third pregnancy. I lost twins in June at 8 weeks so this is my rainbow baby. I’m excited but also obviously cautiously optimistic.
First appointment? Any symptoms? Bets draw today and Thursday. First appointment is 11/13. I’m absolutely exhausted all the time.
How did you find out? I was in the TWW and symptom spotting as usual, but one day I got that distinct feeling of nausea and thought “oh, this is real 😳”. I was planning on waiting until end of TWW to test but my over excited husband convinced me to test early lol. I’m feeling less anxious now that the TWW has passed (and this board is up 🙌).
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) MH and I have been together since college but waited over a decade to start a family. We did a lot of traveling (and way too much work) during those years. We have a sweet 19 month old son whom I’ve been staying home to raise, and we are very excited to see him be a big brother.
First appointment? Any symptoms? No appointment yet, gotta pick a new OB (moved recently).
Due Date? Assuming July 5th, although I will more than likely be an end of June mama since this will be my 3rd C-section.
I have 2 DS who are 8 and 5, who just so happen to be June and July babies. Apparently I only get in pregnant in October. Lol.
I tested the day I would have started my.period and was happy to see a positive, I had tested to 2 days earlier and it was negative, so I was pleasantly surprised.
Symptoms have just been sore breasts and cramping, which makes me a little nervous, I had more symptoms almost instantly with both my boys. But my first appt is Nov 11th, and hoping for a healthy baby.
How did you find out? I was feeling really emotional (which was my go to sign with my first 2) so took a test and saw a veeerrrryyyy faint line. The next day, I got a positive on a digital confirming it.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) DS is 6 and DD is almost 5. Their dad and I split about 1.5 years ago. This baby is with my boyfriend of just under 7 months. We weren’t “trying” but also weren’t preventing so just left it up to chance. We are both still in shock that it happened so quickly though (this will be his first). 2 dogs (a boxer and a cavalier King Charles Spaniel) and 1 cat. I work full time, from home currently, and also run a local blog. I like being outside, wine and going out to eat with the bf and friends.
First appointment? Any symptoms? First appointment is 11/30. Symptoms are pretty light, had some cramping that’s eased up, bloating, sore boobs, peeing a ton and pretty tired. My nausea and major exhaustion didn’t kick in with my other two until around 6-8 weeks so I’m enjoying this time the best I can right now.
Fun fact: I did BMBs for my other two and it’s amazing the friendships and connections you form. Both of them are still active 7 and 6 years later so I’m really looking forward to the connections that will be made here!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
My wife and I have been married almost 10 years, we have 2 boys. First was conceived via IUI and second was rIVF. Our current pregnancy was a 5th cycle IUI, first medicated (Femara) cycle. We have 2 pups and love being outdoors.
First appointment? Any symptoms? Ultrasound Dec 1st and appointment Dec 2nd. Tired but not feeling too first trimestery yet.

I track my cycle alongside use of condoms to prevent pregnancy. Condom slipped, but initially I wasn't worried as I was 6 days from O. Then I ovulated 4 days early. Still wasn't too worried since: my last two pregnancies took a year each to conceive, I am currently 41, and my spouse is on a med that slows sperm motility. We even joked at the time that it would be the height of irony if I got knocked up by accident after all we did to conceive the other two. Ha, ha....anyway, the paranoia got to me so 12 dpo I cracked out the pregnancy tests from my last TTC cycle and noticed they were all expired. So,I peed on 8 of them (those cheapie strips) figuring if all 8 were negative it would subdue my anxst. Three positives in the bunch. Sent husband to pick up an FRER, big fat pink line 😮 Don't get me wrong, it was also a 😍😍 moment, but I am still in shock. At this point I am obsessively watching the pink line get darker every few days (pgal) and getting excited, but not ready to tell people. It's a lot to wrap my head around.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
Two other kids, 4 and 1, both boys, delightful but so different from each other. Two cats. One husband. Been married 18 years, we had our kids late in life. I teach (Zoom is my life?) I like to walk, do yoga, cook, read, write, sing in a choir (in the before times), play board games.
First appointment? Any symptoms
No appointment yet. PCP declined doing a beta (shakes fist) but put in a referral. I need to call. Some cramping, occasional nausea, tired but that could be *waves hands vagurky at 2020* Early days yet.
How did you find out? Tested last night and was shocked to see a line. Thought maybe it was a false positive because end of day, pretty early after O etc. But tested this morning with FMU with two different test brands and both positive!!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have a 2 yr old son, work at a children/family nonprofit, have been with DH for 12 yrs this week 👀 and am coming to the realization that all I really like to do is watch TV (ok not really but this year it seems like it 🤪)
First appointment? Any symptoms? Don’t have any appointments yet - having bloating/gas, some cramping and some breast pain so far. Also was in bed with eyes struggling to stay open at 8pm last night which was the number 1 first red flag last time I was pregnant!
Excited to get to know you all - was a July 2018 mama as well!
How did you find out? I felt funky and took a HPT. We were NOT trying.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
mom to a 4 y/o. Husband of 9 years. Crazy dog.
First appointment? Any symptoms? 11/17 - I had actually scheduled this first appointment to talk to my OB about tubal ligation. So this is going to be a very different kind of visit - ha
How did you find out? I tested this morning at 9dpo fully not expecting anything since it’s still early. Much to my surprise, a second line showed! Peed on another cheapie since I was convinced the first was an evap and a FRER and both were very positive!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I am 32 and MH is 33. We have a DS who is 5.5 and a DD who just turned 4. We also have two cats and a big, goofy 8 year old black lab. I work FT in marketing, but my schedule has been severely effected due to childcare during the pandemic. MH works in retail management. I like basically any coffee based drink at Starbucks, watching trash tv like Big Brother and the Bachelorette, cooking, and I run an Etsy shop with printable invitations, posters, etc.!
First appointment? Any symptoms? I’ll call on Monday to schedule my first appointment. No real bad symptoms so far besides a little light cramping, tingly boobs, and mood swings.
@daisy528, I knew it!!! I saw your chart yesterday and read about your headache. It was exactly like me. I’ve been checking all day hoping you tested 😅😅. Congrats!!!
How did you find out? I’ve know for at least two weeks but couldn’t get a positive test. So I gave up. My husband encouraged me to buy another Friday and that was positive as well as two more Saturday.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) I have been married for almost 7 years, have 5 and 3 year old sons, 2 dogs, 12 chickens, 2 guinea pigs, and 30 goats. I drive school bus and work as the music secretary at a high school.
First appointment? Any symptoms? Calling doctor tomorrow. Sore breasts, occasionally nauseous, and so tired.
@kfry22 congrats on your BFP. My husband would love to get goats, he adores them so much. We did get chickens this year and hes looking into beekeeping in the next year or 2.
How did you find out? I've always had a short LP (7-9 days), so I had a suspicion once I made it to 10dpo with no AF in sight. Held out as long as I could stand then did a FRER last night @12dpo.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) DH and I met in college. Been together 10 years, married for 2.5. We have a son who will be 14 months on Friday, and a dog. I'm a procurement manager for the major hotel chains. I love cooking, beaches, and any show on Bravo. I've been counting down the weeks until my Peloton is delivered (this Thursday!) but with the BFP now we'll see how long I actually stay motivated to work out.
First appointment? Any symptoms? Haven't called the ob/gyn yet. Ironically, I was just there for my annual on Wednesday and brought up my short LP concerns. It just happened to be 8dpo so I got a blood draw, and my progesterone levels came back normal. No symptoms yet. If we hadn't been TTC I wouldn't have a clue!
How did you find out? HPT and was absolutely shocked! We tried for 11 months for our second and didn’t think it would happen this quickly
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) We have a almost 6 year old and almost 2 year old and have been married for 6.5 years. I’m love to cook and crochet and we probably watch an ungodly amount of TV these days.
First appointment? Any symptoms? I haven’t picked a midwife yet but will start to reach out soon. I’m not having too many symptoms, it was my lack of symptoms that had me test.
How did you find out - I suspected because I was overly tired the few days before I should have gotten my period. I didn't have any period symptoms either. So I tested the first day of my expected period and here we were.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) DH and I have been married for 6 years and have a 3 year old DS and a 1 year old DD. They are wild children. I work as an accountant for a manufacturing company. We have a 5 year old golden retriever and an 8 month old golden retriever. When I'm not chasing kids or working I like to workout and read. We also have a camper so we spend a lot of time outdoors when the weather is nice.
First appointment? Any symptoms? No appointment yet - I'll call next week. Symptoms: bloating / exhaustion. And I'm sure the nausea isn't far away.
How did I find out: We’ve been trying for a few months so I’ve been monitoring my symptoms closely and could tell I was more tired and cramping just barely a little to early. So I took a test 2 days before I was supposed to start my period and a very faint second line was there!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) This will be my husband and I’d first child! But we have lots of fur babies (2 golden retrievers and 4 rescue cats). I’m a photographer who specializes in weddings, couples, family and senior photos. I love to listen to true crime documentaries!
First appointment? Any symptoms?
My first appointment with the dr is December 4th however we did schedule an early ultrasound for November 24th to see the baby before we tell the family at Thanksgiving! Symptoms so far have just been bloating, light cramping at the beginning, exhaustion and light nausea just a couple of times.
How did you find out? We have been trying for a long time. Had basically given up. But this month I felt super off (ended up in the ER with vertigo) turns out we are pregnant!!!
Tell us about yourself. My husband and I just celebrated our 5 year anniversary, been together for 10. We have 4 cats and a few chickens. I love to garden, and if I had my way I’d spend most of my days outside.
First appointment? Virtual appt today to follow up on the vertigo. Which is finally under control. Trying to schedule an in person visit for an ultrasound in three weeks. Symptoms: nausea, cramps, and vertigo. Also I’ve been crying at least three times a day.
How did you find out? This was our first month trying and my husband and I couldn’t wait to test. Got a negative HPT yesterday but took one this morning and got a faint line so I took a couple more and got more faint lines.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?)
This will be our first child and we are SO excited! We have a fur baby that we love to death. I’m a pharmacist and end up spending most of my free time watching Netflix nowadays. I enjoy spending time with family (though not doing that as much right now), reading, and cross stitching.
First appointment? Any symptoms? No appointment yet. MH decided he wants me to get another positive tomorrow before I contact the doctor to get the ball rolling with them. My boobs have been a little tingly/tender and I’ve had cramps that feel unlike my normal period cramps but nothing crazy yet.
How did you find out? First month trying! Took a digital yesterday at 10 DPO. I had been symptom spotting for a few days, but it was still so shocking to see the word “pregnant.”
Tell us about yourself: I’m 32 years old and have two girls, 5 and 7. Next June will be my 10 year anniversary right before my EDD. So many emotions right now- excited, nervous, scared, paranoid.... all the things! I’m a little bit nervous because I’m around kids all the time because of my job. Hoping to stay as healthy as I can throughout Flu/Covid season.
First appointment? Any symptoms? Haven’t scheduled an appointment yet because I just found out, and I’m so early still. Have been taking methyl folate for a while and just started taking baby aspirin. I’m not even 4 weeks yet, so no major symptoms. A little bit of cramping and heartburn. I definitely feel more “pregnant” in the evenings than the mornings.
How did you find out? We were ttc and I was feeling really tired so I took a hpt.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) We’re from the US but we have been living in the UK for a little more then 2.5 years now. We have a son and daughter who will be 3 and 1 in December. We also have a Golden Retriever. I am a SAHM and I am also a grad student. My husband and I have been married for 8 years and together for 11 now. I like to bake and hike.
First appointment? Any symptoms? I haven’t called the midwives yet. My daughter has surgery in a few weeks so I just want to get through that first. I’ve been feeling really tired and going to bed at the same time as the kids.
How did you find out? Well, Sunday afternoon my boobs were very sore, so I took a HPT for sh*ts and giggles. I was about to toss the strip into the trash, when I was like "hold on, that's different...", I nearly fell off the toilet! It was not at all what I had expected since MH and I have been trying for 2 years next month. First thing Monday morning I called my OB office and they had me come in for HCG and Progesterone. My HCG, was 112, and Progesterone was 32. I went for a repeat HCG yesterday, and it was 470!!! Based on my LMP, the day I took the HPT I was 3and5. Which is SUPER early. I can't even believe it came up on the HPT!!
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) MH and I have been married 3 and a half years, TTC for 2 years. I was diagnosed with PCOS last December, and began fertility treatments in January. Had two failed IUI's, had treatment paused due to COVID and I had a colposcopy in the summer to remove polyps. We have just been taking some time for each other for a few months and we had actually planned to resume treatment with my next cycle, which should have begun around now..and miraculously have spontaneously conceived! We have two pups who are more spoiled than they will ever know. I am a nurse at a large maternity hospital in my area, and MH is a correctional officer. I love to travel, adventure, enjoy girls nights and I try to stay as active as possible. I'm also never opposed to a cuddle night on the couch.
First appointment? Any symptoms? My first ultrasound will be on 12/3, the day before MH's birthday! Unfortunately he won't be able to attend due to their covid protocols, but I am still excited nonetheless! The only symptom so far is extremely sore boobs, and very mild cramping that comes and goes. I also had some spotting, but my OB said it was okay because my levels were increasing rapidly.
May Siggy Challenge: It's Gonna be N*SYNC!
TTC #1: 1/2019 Dx: 1/2020 Borderline PCOS Rx: Femara &Trigger with IUI IUI#1 2/26/2020- BETA 3/11 (AF arrived 3/11) 3/20/2020- Benched due to COVID-19
How did you find out? I really thought we were out this cycle because of bad timing and H's work. AF was due today and I only tested because my boobs have been a little sore for the last few days and I woke up nauseated. Still kind of in shock.
Tell us about yourself (Other children/pets?Job? Things you like to do? Spouse/partner?) My husband and I are high school sweethearts and just celebrated 16yrs together. He travels for work and I am a SAHM. This will be baby #6. We have 5 amazing but crazy boys ages 10, 8, almost 6, 4, and 1. I LOVE being a boy mom! We have also have a small but very full farm with chickens, ducks, turkeys, guineas, geese, goats, and pigs. There's seriously never a dull moment around here.
First appointment? Any symptoms? No appt yet. I just POAS a few hours ago. Symptoms are sore boobs and slight nausea.
Wife. Boy mom x6. Expecting #7. Wannabe homesteader. , 💙💙💙💙💙💙
@nopegoat welcome from a fellow boy mom and goat and chicken owner! We too have had guineas, ducks, geese, and pigs as well as horses and cows. I think that’s the best way to raises boys 🥰

DH and I have been married for 6 years and have a 3 year old DS and a 1 year old DD. They are wild children. I work as an accountant for a manufacturing company. We have a 5 year old golden retriever and an 8 month old golden retriever. When I'm not chasing kids or working I like to workout and read. We also have a camper so we spend a lot of time outdoors when the weather is nice.
MH and I have been married 3 and a half years, TTC for 2 years.
