@emeraldduchess totally understand giving your body a break and not wanting to take it unmonitored! Ironically, this was supposed to be our first monitored cycle with starting IUI...so this is basically normal for me. Hope we can all get started back with our treatment cycles if all the NTNP/natural trying around here doesn’t work for all of us!
@the_road_to_oz I’m so sorry for the conflicting feelings! I hope that dip had a totally different meaning and AF is not on her way! Ugh, yes I hate the just relax and don’t think about it thing...but I’m still hoping that somehow works for all of us! Haha.
@feather_heather I’m so glad your transfer went well, even though it sounds like it was a very different experience! Everything possible crossed for you, friend!
@pom9207 I’m so sorry you are having to deal with immigration issues on top of everything else! I hope all goes well with that and your summer ends up being busy but wonderful!
@keikilove thank you sweet friend. @feather_heather sending you big hugs and all the luck I can muster for a sticky embie.
AFM, so sorry I've been MIA all week. Turns out WFH is busier than a regular workday because of how many hoops I have to jump through to do a simple task that would normally only take a few mins. Plus it means my workday doesn't really have an official start/end because we want to be available to clients when they need us. In any case, it has been good to keep my mind off things. I went for my beta yesterday morning but I already knew what the result would be. I POAS on Tuesday at 8dp5dt and the FRER was a BFN so the blood test just confirmed it.
Honestly, we're sad to have lost one of our embabies but we kind of expected this. I had a lot of bleeding and spotting before and after the transfer. I just don't have faith in my body to do what it's supposed to do, and that part is harder to swallow than the BFN itself. The lack of trust feels like the ultimate betrayal, that my body is working against me. That's the part I'm struggling with the most. That, and the little defeated sigh my dad let out when I had to tell him it didn't work. I chose to text everyone else after that (he just caught me off guard on the phone). Whether we like it or not, we are back in limbo like all our fellow IF warriors until things go back to normal. I'll pop in when I can to check in, but I think we'll use this break to just lean into each other and appreciate the physical space this pandemic has given us away from the rest of the world at a time when we need it most.
Love to you all.

Dx: MFI 10/19- First RE visit 2/20- DH had surgery for bilateral varicoceles 7/20- IUI with 5 mg letrozole- BFN 9/20- IVF. 9 eggs retrieved, 9 mature, 8 fertilized with ICSI, 7 blasts, 4 PGT-A normal 11/20- Mock transfer/ERA 12/20- FET #1- transferred one 4AB- BFN 3/21- FET #2- transferred one 3AB- BFP! Due Dec 2021 12/21- Baby girl born!
On the good news side, I asked DH if we should keep trying or let this virus pass - and he got upset. He is all in to keep trying, and had answers to all of the "worst case" scenarios I threw at him. He also had a list of fertility supplements ... He'd like - read medical journals on the safety and efficacy, and had a list of suggestions. I looked up everything, and it doesn't look like any of those things will HURT me, so what the hell right?
@the_road_to_oz so sorry about the BFN. From a healthcare worker with experience in obstetrics I know that they are not telling couples to stop trying but are re scheduling most assistive reproductive technology at this point! Trying some new things may help increase your optimism! What does DH want you to do differently?
@the_road_to_oz and @kiki047 I am so sorry for those negatives. My heart is breaking, for both of you. And sadly for me too. I tested this morning and unfortunately ours failed as well. I have a lot of feelings right now. Lots of anger and lots of sadness. I’ll be taking some time before I am able to come back and participate here, but please know that I am sending positive vibes to each and every one of you!

Diagnosis (if you've been): PCOSish
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Medicated TI, further treatments on hold until further notice (Thanks COVID)
How are things going?: Hi friends! Sorry I have been MIA, life has been so crazy! Work has been insane, and I am exhausted. They have designated my unit the "COVID unit", awesome I know and we now have all of these people coming from NY to deliver, with is frustrating, and stressful. As I am sure you all know, protective gear is seriously lacking, so that has been interesting as well. DH is also working like crazy, luckily there is no one in the prison exhibiting any symptoms, yet anyway. Just trying to go one day at a time.
Any questions?: nope
GTKY: Since I think we're all looking for recommendations, what is the best show you've streamed lately? Bonus points if the series has a lot of episodes! I recently watched West World on HBO, it is surprisingly good. Ozark season 3 is out! I can not wait until my days off this week to binge! I tried to watch that tiger show, mostly because I want to see the part with the lady who allegedly fed her husband to them, but I couldn't get past the first episode.
