@feather_heather ugh sorry they aren’t able to find more answers from the biopsy. I hope the new protocol works as desired
@emeraldduchess getting cycle cancelled sucks, I feel you... I had two cancelled IUI cycles from my OB. Hope you can catch the surge and HIO today!
AFM, no more embryos on day 7 (my clinic culture to day 7 max). I am hopeful and excited about the 7 embryos made it to testing! They shipped the sample to the lab in NY today. The TWW for the results starts now!
@mvt2003 - I'm anxious for your beta! Glad you're feeling a bit more positive and that H didn't tell as many people as you thought! Hope you have some exciting symptoms coming your way that aren't half-face hot flashes, geez. @nitnat007 - Hope you stay healthy!
@feather_heather - I'm so sorry your body is being so frustrating. Glad the biopsy came back normal, but I know that feeling....good test results with zero answers about what's going on. I hope the nurse is right about her plan!
@emeraldduchess Oh no, I am SO sorry about the canceled IUI. Sometimes this crap our bodies pull is just unbelievable! Ugh so frustrated for you! But glad you had a nice break, and glad your H is coming around at least on the PGS testing! He might be like my SO...we'll argue about something, I'll make a few (obviously correct haha) points and he'll push back but go off and think about it and then soften about it.
@inthewoods23 I am so behind on Toy Story movies, they're so great but I think I didn't realize there was a 4th!
@misshelen86 so glad the varicocele surgery went well. I'm so sorry you and H are having a rough time with this. I hope it felt better to open up and I know what you mean about hearing your H say he's feeling sad about TTC - it's good to not feel alone in it but hard to hear that he's unhappy.
@looeeze I'm so sorry about the ER visit! Hope you're feeling better now and it was just a temporary thing from the meds.
@ramzlau - yay IUI on Friday!! FX for you. I'm sorry getting all the meds and timing perfectly right has been so stressful!! Hopefully you'll be through the woods in a couple weeks!!
Diagnosis (if you've been): HSG still missing from work-up
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): benched till late March for Zika precaution after traveling
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): planning to do HSG in the next month, other tests in past few weeks have been all good
How are things going?: Pretty good, SO seems more on board with paying out of pocket for the HSG, based on our conversation the other night. This week already feels like it's moving fast! Kind of dreading getting AF next week because even though we're benched, SO still is acting like I could be KU this month...just kind of jokingly saying "I totally got you KU, I know it!" I just feel like there's some feelings behind it and he's gonna be bummed.
Any questions?: Nope
GTKY: What was the last movie you saw in the theaters? We went to see Jojo Rabbit on Saturday and I feel bad because I was suuuuper sleepy halfway through and was just focusing on staying awake, so missed some big stuff. We got out and SO was like "wow that was amazing, that was one of my favorite movies of the last few years" and was like borderline emotional about it (it has to do with kids during WWII in Germany)... I felt bad that I wasn't able to fully experience it with him.
Thanks for all the love and encouragement, ladies. 💚 I appreciate it more than you know. My OPK was + this evening, so DH and I were able to HIO. The RE said to HIO tonight, tomorrow and Thursday. Here's hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst, I guess. @pom9207 crossing everything for good PGS results on your embryos!! I hope the wait goes really fast. @whitealbum29 I am so glad your SO is more on board with the HSG. It will be worth the out of pocket cost IMO. If it's all-clear, you have peace of mind.
@inthewoods23 - I guess the endometrial dating was a test developed by a Boston hospital back in the 60's that they still use. They basically just look at the cells of the lining on the day of the biopsy and make sure it all lines up for what it should be on that exact cycle day. My biopsy was done 10 days after starting PIO. It doesn't tell them the receptivity of the lining, or if I need X amount of hours more of progesterone before transfer. Sounds like the ERA test was developed using somewhat of the same mindset, but better (wish we could've got my lining to cooperate and done that as planned).
@emeraldduchess - My doctor said that Harvard Pilgrim and Blue Cross Blue Shield will almost always count the cancelled IUI as a failed IUI, and my insurance (not one of the above) also counted it.
@pom9207 - I'm so glad your embryo numbers increased from the initial count!
@whitealbum29 - Happy to hear that your SO is more on board with the testing!
Sorry I’m late to the party this week...I’m reverting back to my old ways, but this week has been pretty busy so far...I’ve been working on this post since Monday! Haha.
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Letrozole (5mg), TI, and Progesteone after O...last TI cycle before IUI.
How are things going?: Pretty good!! We had a nice weekend visiting family and we are going into FW this week! We decided we are sticking to EOD only this cycle instead of getting in extra timing, which hasn’t seemed to work out so much in the past! I have comfort in knowing that if this cycle is a bust, at least we should get some clarity from the monitoring/SA with the IUI! Of course I’m still hoping this is the magic cycle we get KU and stay KU!!
Any questions?: None right now.
GTKY: What was the last movie you saw in the theaters? Hmm...we hardly ever go to the movies (but love watching movies at home)...I’m thinking it was the second to last Star Wars movie. We thought about seeing the Downton movie on vacation, but didn’t. Watched it recently...and I agree with you @emeraldduchess I’m so glad they didn’t ruin it!!
@mvt2003 I’m so glad you are feeling better about things this week!! I’m glad you and YH had a good talk about who all knows!! I’m hoping you will get the best news ever this week to share with everyone (when you are ready)!! 💜 @nitnat007 I hope you are able to stay healthy!! Wow, I can’t believe your FIL posted that...does he not know that FB is not like texting someone?! 🤦🏼♀️ Hopefully you caught it quick enough that nobody even saw it!! Eek...you are getting so close to your FET...hopefully the headaches from all the meds go away soon though!
@feather_heather I know negative/clear results are always good...but I also know how badly you were wanting answers!! I hope the new protocol will help with all your levels and this next FET will be the one for you!!
@kpearse99 I’m glad you are trying not to let the unknown drive you crazy!! I hope AF gets her act together though so you can move on to your relaxed cycle!! She is being a jerk by not letting you fully relax!!
@emeraldduches I’m so glad your dog seems to be doing better! I’m so sorry your IUI got cancelled though...but here’s hoping good ole HIO will do the trick this cycle!! 🤞🏻
@inthewoods23 ah...I hope the next 5 weeks fly by for you!! That’s interesting about doing the celiac testing...that sounds like a great plan to limit now and get it tested sometime next year maybe!
@misshelen86 so glad YH is recovering well...hopefully the pain/swelling goes away quickly! I’m glad you all had that talk...it is reassuring knowing you aren’t in it alone, but I hate that we have that anger/sadness! This all seems so unfair...but I like to believe that there is a greater plan and that we will all get our happy endings soon!!
@abarr723 yay for doing the trigger!! Everything crossed that all goes/went well this morning!!
@pom9207 yay for 7 to test/freeze!! So happy you got a better update for Day 6!!
@looeeze sorry for the scary ER visit & diagnosis!! Hopefully that’s something that can be treated easily!
@keikilove I hope you get a good update from your doctor soon!!
@ramzlau I hope your lining gets to where it needs to be by Friday! Everything crossed for you!!
@kiki047 I hope this busy week goes by fast for you and it isn’t too stressful!!
@whitealbum29 I’m glad you decided to go ahead with the HSG and SO is on board with it!! Hopefully he isn’t getting his hopes up too much with this cycle...and I hope the next cycle flies by for you so you can get off the bench!
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Hi all! So sorry I've been MIA but I felt i couldn't really contribute as I have not ovulated nor had a period since OCTOBER! However, after some more testing and a referral to another OB I am finally starting Provera and my first round of clomid at the start of March (DH is still travelling lots for work but he is coming home for two weeks on March 9th!
How are things going?: I am excited to move foreward!
Any questions?: any advice for provera and clomid? I am doing 10mg provera for 7 days and taking 50mg clomid days 5-9 then she advised having sex every day from day 12-18 lol
GTKY: What was the last movie you saw in the theaters? I can't even remember!
@mvt2003 Fingers crossed for your beta's!!! glad you and DH were able to talk about who you were telling what because that can be very difficult at times if one wants to share more than the other!
@nitnat007 gotta love cold and flu season eh! I am in the same boat just trying to stay healthy!
@whitealbum29 Glad that your SO is more onboard with HSG! My clinic allows IUI/IVF without HSG but I think it's generally a good idea to do it as it can reveal potential tubal factor.
@bluetickgal hope this is your magic cycle! Glad you are feeling good!
AFM, I started taking BCP yesterday. Saline sonogram + mock transfer is also scheduled for next Monday. My RE suggested performing a medicated FET cycle because my Dx is unexplained. I am super excited but also terrified of the PIO shots
edit: also sending good vibes to @mvt2003 hoping tomorrow's beta comes back great!
Sorry, I have been lurking but hadn't had the chance to really comment until now
@mvt2003 Good luck with your beta! How did you like the Impratical Jokers movie? Do you and your H watch the show? My H and I are trying to decide between seeing that or Fantasy Island this weekend.
@nitnat007 hope you're able to stay healthy despite everyone being sick around you! and omg major cringe to your FIL. I don't know why people don't think before they do things like that.
@feather_heather sorry your biopsy didn't give you more answers. I hope your next protocol is what does the trick for you
@kpearse99 I hope your body figures itself out soon so you can relax!
@emeraldduchess so sorry your IUI was cancelled, how frustrating after all the monitoring! Hope you guys are able to make the best of the next couple of days
@intothewoods toy story 4 is a good one, i'm pretty ashamed that my last movie was despicable me 3
@misshelen86 glad you and your H were able to really open up and talk to each other. Hope things improve quickly now that the surgery is behind him!
@pom9207 so glad a few more embryos were able to make it to testing! FX for some good results soon!
@looeeze sorry about the palpitations, that sounds rough. hope you're feeling better now!
@keikilove hoping you're able to get some results/answers soon and that your RE is ok.
@ramzlau that is definitely a lot of meds but hopefully it will all be worth it for you. I will be thinking good thoughts for you for your IUI this friday
@whitealbum29 glad your H has come around on the HSG. Hope everything else goes smoothly so you can move forward
@bluetickgal good luck this week! hoping the EOD timing is just what you guys need!
@tryingtogku wow October! I can't even imagine. I'm glad you're moving forward with a new doc and hopefully getting a fresh start with a new cycle

Status (WTO/TWW/TTA):WTO, positive OPK today
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): waiting to hear back from my RE. I think I'm done with all the requisite testing.
How are things going?: I emailed the nurse on Monday but haven't heard back yet. I'm gonna just call the office tomorrow. Trying not to be an annoying patient but I also want to make sure we're set for next cycle, and if not, then maybe I can at least get started on whatever else has to be done.
Any questions?: none at the moment
GTKY: What was the last movie you saw in the theaters? Despicable me 3, lol. Hoping to change that this weekend! we're either gonna see the Impractical Jokers movie or Fantasy Island. Looking forward to going to a movie theater with recliners! I've only been there once before and H and I felt so fancy then

@looeeze That is pretty standard and not always comforting. How have you been feeling since then?
@feather_heather Sorry it wasn't conclusive. But that sounds like a good plan. I am glad to hear that they are open to exploring options for you and working with you on the issues. FX that does the trick.
@emeraldduchess WTH! Not cool body! FX that you ended up catching the surge at the right time after all the frustration though.
@whitealbum29 Sound like positive steps forward on the HSG. Hopefully you can get it scheduled soon.
@bluetickgal Hoping that this is the magical cycle for you guys. I am still envious of those that manage to stick to the EOD plan haha. I think DH and I run out of steam on like day three. FIL is a little clueless honestly. He has done many things over the last few years that are questionable at best. Not much we can do about it other than put out the fires as they come up though.
@tryingktogku Yay for moving forward and getting things started!! GL staying healthy. It is tough, everyone at work has gone down except for me.
@pom9207 Whoop Whoop! Come on Monday. Things are moving along so quickly for you. You will have to let me know how PIO goes lol. I am terrified too. I think I start next Friday. The order just arrived yesterday.
@manillabar I swear some people have zero concept of what information is private and just not for public knowledge. Shake my head. Be the annoying patient! If there is one thing I have learned in this process, you have to speak up. If not, you could miss your window or get left behind. No one will advocate for you like you will for yourself. Hope you head something back soon.
@mvt2003 Sending you all the positive vibes today friend. Hoping for wonderful news!
@bluetickgal Hey, better late than never, right?! I know you've had a busy week but that means it's helped make the week fly by and tomorrow is FRIDAY!!! Woot!

Hi friends, I wish I had something better or even definitive to share.
Beta came back lower than my clinic likes to see, so I’m not officially out yet, but my nurse told me this could go either way.
I’m pretty devastated, but I have to wait for Saturday for beta #2 to see if it doubles. Thank you all for your thoughts and good wishes, they mean so much.

@tryingktogku I’m glad you got some answers and have a plan in place. Good luck with the Provera and then Clomid! Every day for 7 days straight?!...my goodness!!
@pom9207 thanks lady! Hopefully the PIO shots won’t be that bad!!
@manillabar thank you!! I hope you hear back from your RE soon!! I wouldn’t worry about being annoying...you need to know what’s going on and to be prepare for the next cycle (if that’s even necessary)!
@nitnat007 thank you! We are pretty good at the EOD, but the every day can get to be a bit much! I can only imagine that if my dad was on social media, he would be the exact same way!! 😒 I like your attitude though, just gotta put out the fires as they happen!
@kpearse99 yes, this week has flown by!! Yay for tomorrow being Friday...and today being your Friday!! So jealous!! Lol.
@mvt2003 sending so many positive and optimistic and wonderful thoughts your way, friend

@mvt2003 I'm sorry things were more definitive today, I've been thinking of you! Praying for a better result Saturday!
Thank you everyone for your thoughts! IUI went well yesterday. I did have one question, not sure if anyone has any insight. They said that I could expect diem spotting, which I did a little when wiping after using the bathroom. But also, in the toilet there was a little bit of what looked like it could be tissue (not toilet tissue), idk what to think about that. 😕

@abarr723 It's likely that it's just from being probbed during the IUI and from the catheter. It's happened to me a few times too. It's totally normal.

@mvt2003 I will be hoping for the best for you for Saturday
Thanks @kpearse99@nitnat007@bluetickgal! I went ahead and gave them a call and spoke with the nurse. Apparently since I was just started on the meds for my thyroid, they want me to wait for the repeat labs (in 4 weeks ) before starting a treatment cycle. I'm really disappointed, though I know in the grand scheme of things this is not the worst thing to be dealing with. I guess I just got myself too excited. At least it gives me a little more time to lose some more weight before getting started.

@manillabar That's obnoxious but I get it. Did they tell you ahead of time that that might be a possibility? Seems like that's something they could've given you a heads up about.
@looeeze no, they didn't, which is annoying. And honestly, I didn't think to ask either because my TSH wasn't that high so I didn't think it'd be a huge barrier. But I am glad I called today instead of waiting around lol

@pom9207 crossing everything for good PGS results on your embryos!! I hope the wait goes really fast.
@whitealbum29 I am so glad your SO is more on board with the HSG. It will be worth the out of pocket cost IMO. If it's all-clear, you have peace of mind.
@whitealbum29 thanks girl!!
Dx: 1/2020 Borderline PCOS
Rx: Femara &Trigger with IUI
IUI#1 2/26/2020- BETA 3/11 (AF arrived 3/11)
3/20/2020- Benched due to COVID-19
@emeraldduchess - My doctor said that Harvard Pilgrim and Blue Cross Blue Shield will almost always count the cancelled IUI as a failed IUI, and my insurance (not one of the above) also counted it.
@pom9207 - I'm so glad your embryo numbers increased from the initial count!
@whitealbum29 - Happy to hear that your SO is more on board with the testing!
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
@nitnat007 I hope you are able to stay healthy!!

@tryingktogku yay for finally moving forward!

@mvt2003 crossing everything for you today!! 💜
@abarr723 GL!
Woot!
@manillabar I hope you get some answers when you call the RE today - keep us posted!
