This is a place for those of us who have already started TTC, but have started infertility testing and/or treatments. You can express your thoughts, feelings, and frustrations on infertility. TTC can be a long journey naturally, then add in the difficulties associated with infertility, and it becomes a whole new ball game. The road to infertility can be lonely, frustrating, and complicated, so let's make this a place where we can vent, ask questions, and support one another. Feel free to resurrect this thread at any point in the week if you have something to say. Treat this as an ongoing conversation.

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): IVF
How are things going?: I'm hanging in there - I'm very anxious for beta to know what's happening in there I'm feeling less pessimistic than last week, I also think the fact that MH has told multiple people did not help that.
We actually had a conversation last night, about who knows what about this cycle, and who gets told what, which I think was really helpful. I realized he hasn't told *that* many people, all things considered. I think I was really triggered by who he told and the fact that the person he told is an idiot and the questions he was asking MH in return were 100% given to him by his wife.
The acute anxiety has diminished, which is good, I'm still just dealing with the progesterone now. I got one of my half-face hot flashes in front of other people on Friday night, which was kind of cringey!
Any questions?: Nope
GTKY: What was the last movie you saw in the theaters? As part of our distractions this weekend, we saw the Impractical Jokers movie, which was exactly what I needed. I laughed so hard at some of it!

@mvt2003 When is your beta again? I am rooting for you hard!! I get the anxiety of telling people. I didn't even want to share with MH's parents. MH was a lot more open about it than I was too. How is the progesterone going? You are doing shots right?
@pom9207 Going to respond to you here from the other thread. I am so sorry for your news. I can totally relate. We had 18 retrieved, 12 fertilized, and only 1 truly made it to blast. It feels like the worst kind of gut punch. But I have everything crossed for you that there are still a few more that are developing and you will have more to freeze.
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): FET, u/s on Mar 6th
How are things going?: Doing ok. There is a lot of sickness surrounding me, work, gym, home. So I am trying really hard to not get sick right now. Work was crazy busy last week too, and I think the combo of the nasal spray (suprefact), estrace and antibiotic, are causing these mild persistent headaches. Not looking forward to progesterone side effects on top of this.
Good news, PIO is ordered though and should be delivered later this week. The Canadian shortage was giving me anxiety, so having that box checked help.
Relating to people who don't know boundaries. FIL posted on MH's FB wall this week asking if there was an update on our IVF progress? For all to see, no big deal right? I just about climbed through the roof. Made MH delete it immediately and hoped like hell no one saw it. *Sigh*
Any questions?:
GTKY: What was the last movie you saw in the theaters? *TW DSS*
We took my step son and his gf to a kids movie. Spies in Disguise. It was pretty funny. Lots of adult humor in it.
@nitnat007 Thanks! Beta is Thursday! I'm on the suppositories, not PIO. I'm so glad your PIO is coming!!!! Also, holy hell YFiL needs to step the eff back! I would be livid if anyone posted any information about my IVF on FB! I'm irritated enough that my BiL and SiL even know about it because I know they're not going to keep the info private.
@pom9207 Also responding here - I'm so sorry your day 5s were fewer than hoped, I'm hoping you get a couple Day 6s!!!!!!!

@mvt2003 - I'm glad you're feeling better than last week!! Got to stay positive!!
@nitnat007 - OMG! I would've hit the roof! I hope your DH called him immediately and told him to never post anything like that on FB again!
Diagnosis (if you've been): Endometriosis, Borderline PCOS, Unexplained IF
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Waiting on Biopsy results
How are things going?: I'm alright.. they said I should get the biopsy results sometime this week and then based off that we'll figure out what our next step is. My progesterone was pretty low the day of the biopsy, so the nurse said the doctor will probably increase my dose next cryo cycle. I'm just overall so frustrated that my body can't even respond correctly when it's getting pumped full of the exact things it needs. I'm really hoping something comes back from the biopsy that will help to explain why this is all happening and why this isn't working.
Any questions?: What is your PIO dose? I was on 1 ML my past two cycles, and they said I'd probably be upped to 1.5 ML.
GTKY: What was the last movie you saw in the theaters? Little Women
@mvt2003 I'm glad you and YH did things to distract yourselves this weekend and that you were able to have that talk about who knows what! Beta day will be here soon, just keep breathing and taking it one day at a time The half-face hot flashes are so weird!!!! Was like half of your face red and the other half normal? How does that even happen?!
@nitnat007 wow!!!! I can't believe your FIL did that!!! Thankfully it seems like you guys caught it early and were able to delete it right away!!
Diagnosis (if you've been): Secondary Unexplained IF
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): ummmmm still not sure?! So I guess still just WFAF.
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): NTNP this cycle (however long it may end up being haha)
How are things going?: Okay, I guess. I can feel myself starting to relax more about not knowing what the hell is going on in my body but it's still frustrating. It's been 2 and 1/2 weeks since my negative beta on 2/7, a little over a week since being told I had a cyst and that AF would arrive within 2 weeks... so let's hope they are still right about that.....but then it's also been about a week since they told me I might be Oing.... haha You can see why I've stopped really trying to figure out what's going on. My boobs have been soooooo sore and uncomfortable these last few days so I really hope that means AF will arrive any day now. This damn water retention is still going on strong and it's been well over a month and a half of that.
Any questions?: Nope.
GTKY: What was the last movie you saw in the theaters? Frozen 2!

@kpearse99 I'm so hopeful that once this all gets figured out, you'll be refreshed and restored by this short period of NTNP. Also hopeful that AF will just show! And yep, basically one half of my face gets really red, specifically my left ear. Like bright red.

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): letrozole, trigger, IUI#2
How are things going?: Ok. Having last week off was exactly what DH and I needed. He also told me last night that he's ok with doing the PGS testing if we have to go to IVF. I had my CD10 ultrasound and bloodwork yesterday in the city at 6:45 am. Oof. DH and I don't like getting up early but we're enjoying having that time together driving into the city. Had another u/s and bloodwork this morning, should get those results soon. In the meantime, we think my dog might have a UTI or something because she was up every hour to go outside and then peed inside the house twice this morning.
Any questions?: Nah.
GTKY: What was the last movie you saw in the theaters? Downton Abbey. I was SO glad they didn't ruin it!
@feather_heather my PIO dose has always been 1mL in the morning, 1mL at night 12 hours apart. I also do the 100mg of Endometrin morning and night too. If your progesterone was low, that could signal a timing issue. FX for a conclusive test!
@kpearse99 come ooonnn AF! Let's get that NTNP cycle going!
@emeraldduchess so glad you guys are getting back on the same page. Sorry to hear about your dog 😟 I hope it's not too serious!
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): about 5 weeks to FET!, gluten and dairy free diet, plethora of supplements
How are things going?: well I saw my PCP this morning to talk about the possibility of a gluten sensitivity with the changes I've noticed in myself being on this new diet. She suspects the same. She's interested in doing the celiac test (probably negative though) and a food allergy panel but I would need to be eating that stuff for 6-8 weeks before having that blood work done. So that's off to the side for the next few months assuming we're successful. And honestly, I'll probably keep mostly GF through the rest of the year anyway so I wouldn't get myself testing until this time next year.
Any questions?: Nope
GTKY: What was the last movie you saw in the theaters? We don't do movies much anymore so I'm not even sure 😬 we went with my brother when he was in town. Hmm... Now I'm going to be bothered all day trying to figure out what movie we saw.

@mvt2003 Glad you are feeling less pessimistic. FX for you!! Keep taking it one day at a time.. you got this!
@nitnat007 OMG I can’t believe your FIL would post something like that on FB for all to see. Glad things worked out with the PIO!
@feather_heather Hope you get some answers with your biopsy results!
@kpearse99 I hope AF arrives soon and the water retention resolves! I’m glad to hear you are relaxing a bit now. Definitely frustrating when you have no idea what’s going on with your body. I hope that NTNP gives you a break from all the stress and frustration.
@emeraldduchess Glad to hear that your week off was what you needed and your DH is more open to the idea of IVF. Hope everything is okay with your dog!
@inthewoods23 It might be worth pursuing celiac testing in the future as it is good to know for sure. I was asymptomatic (other than having low iron) and I’m so glad I went through the testing because it turned out I have severe celiac disease. Feel free to PM me if you ever want to talk about anything celiac related!
Diagnosis: MFI
Status: WTO.. we are benched for another week due to DH’s surgery, so unless I ovulate late I’m probably out for this month
What are you doing this cycle? DH had varicocele surgery last week and is recovering well, although he is still having some pain and swelling.
How are things going? I opened up to DH last night about how I’m feeling a lot of anger and sadness through this whole process and I’m really struggling to let go of these feelings. He gave me a big hug and said he’s feeling the same way. He’s angry that he’s had to go through so much and can’t just get me KU. It’s the first time he’s ever told me that he’s struggling, so it was nice to finally feel like I’m not so alone in all this.
Any questions? No

@mvt2003 so glad you're feeling better emotionally! Thursday will be here before you know it FX for you!
@nitnat007 oh my goodness! I would have felt the same way! Why wouldn't FIL just call or text you guys if he had questions?!
@kpearse99 so glad you're relaxing some! And hopefully AF will show up and that way you can have a stress free month with hubby! Also, found you on Spotify! Loving the playlist!
@feather_heather hopefully those biopsy results come soon and you can have some peace in knowing what your next steps will be!
@emeraldduchess ugh that's so early! MH and I are also not morning people so we can totally relate to your struggle today! I hope they call you soon with some good news!
@inthewoods23 it seems as though you and PCP are on the same page which is awesome. Hopefully this new diet really helps you! And that FET will be here before you know it!!
@misshelen86 it sounds like that talk is exactly what you and DH needed! It's a good feeling when you can be on the same page and realize that you're both struggling with this, and hopefully it'll help you to be there for one another!

How are things going?: things are going pretty okay. I am nervous about my trigger injection tonight, I've been giving myself pep talks since yesterday about it lol. It's weird that i have no problem jabbing other people with needles and I'm freaking out about doing my own!

@mvt2003 Eeek! Thursday! You got this. I hear you. I am such a private person and NEVER post on FB, so that would be the last place that I would even think about posting something like that myself. Some people just don't think.
@feather_heather MH didn't bother saying anything to FIL. I think cognitively he has suffered some loss over the years and particularly after his accident a year ago. He likely would have forgotten that he even asked the question. He should lose his FB privileges though. My PIO dose is 50mg/ml. So I think that is .5ml? GL on your biopsy.
@kpearse99 Friend, just sending you hugs. Such a frustrating time right now. FX AF arrives soon for you though.
@emeraldduchess Oof that is an early u/s. I thought mine were early at 7:30. Glad you guys got some time together though and enjoyed it. Hope your pup feels better soon and it is nothing serious.
@inthewoods23 How are you finding the diet? What changes have you found with cutting out gluten? Curious as sometimes I suspect that I may be sensitive as well. Definitely not celiac though.
@misshelen86 Glad to hear YH surgery went well and he is recovering. So good that you are able to open up and have those conversations with him and find comfort in it too. *hugs*
@abarr723 Well FIL is not really tech savvy. He only really uses FB and is extremely random and forgetful. He asked MH to come over this weekend because he needed his help for the afternoon, we got there and he couldn't remember what he needed help with! This is the level we are at. And he never mentioned that question again. Whoop whoop! Pull the trigger! You are going to rock it! GL!
@abarr723 I've never had anyone follow one of my playlists before I feel so special haha I PROMISE you the trigger shot will end up being nothing!! I got myself so worked up over it too the first time and then when it was done I felt so silly hahaha You got this!!!!
@misshelen86 I think it's great that DH finally opened up to you about his feelings with all of this. Men are so guarded with their feelings to begin with, and then I feel like they end up keeping their thoughts and emotions in about IF even more because they know that we are already "dealing" with so much and with our own emotions that they don't want to throw theirs on top ours too. Little do they know that it actually HELPS us to hear that they are having the same feelings and thoughts and concerns that we are. IF can feel so lonely like that.

@abarr723 GL! You've got this! IUIs are quick and painless except for some slight cramping. My 3rd IUI was done by the RE and not the nurses and I didn't even know she had done the insemination when she said she was all done. I felt nothing. Thank you everyone for the kind words from last week’s thread as well as this thread! Your support means the world to me
@inthewoods23@nitnat007 Thanks for sharing your stories! It truly feels like the worst gut punch when learning the news. I was living in a happy bubble before that, and now I am getting more realistic that IVF is not an easy road...
@mvt2003 Sending you good vibes for this Thursday’s beta!! Glad that you are feeling more hopeful. Sorry about the nosy people, they are the worst!
@nitnat007 don’t get sick, girl! Yay for PIO arriving soon Ahhh what your FIL did was just unacceptable... I hope YH called him to never do that again...
@feather_heather Hope the biopsy result comes back with some answers and your RE will be able to come up with plans to address any issue, if there are
@kpearse99 ohhh sorry about the wonky cycle. Come on already, AF!
@emeraldduchess I am glad YH is more on board with you in terms of treatments! Sorry about your dog, I hope she doesn’t have UTI!
@inthewoods23That makes sense you wouldn’t get the celiac test/food allergy testing until next year if you will keep GF diet. ahh and just 5 weeks to FET! It will fly by fast!
@misshelen86 glad YH is recovering well! Me and MH needed to go through similar conversations about our feelings. Such talk strengthens our relationship a lot during this hard TTC journey.
@abarr723 Yay for triggering!!! Good luck with the shot tonight! My suggestion for IUI would be wear a pad afterwards there may be some “leakage” from cervical mucus! (Those are not semen according to my google search)

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): IVF — Freeze All — PGT-A
How are things going?: I am feeling much better today! As a recap, last Tuesday 32 eggs were retrieved, 19 were mature, 14 were fertilized on day 1, and 3 went to freeze on day 5. I haven’t heard back from the clinic about day 6 results yet. Booked my saline sonogram for next Monday to check for polyps/fibroids etc.!
Any questions?: anyone ever used a lupron trigger? I got my period 5 days after egg retrieval! My doctor said it’s normal after a lupron trigger but I am still a little surprised when AF showed up yesterday...
GTKY: What was the last movie you saw in the theater: parasites
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Had medicated IUI #2 last week, now on progesterone suppositories.
How are things going?: Not great. I was in the ER yesterday for heart palpitations. They diagnosed me with "premature atrial contraction," which sent me into a Google frenzy. And these hot flashes from progesterone are no joke.
Any questions?: Anyone had heart palpitations as a result of IF meds?
GTKY: What was the last movie you saw in the theaters? I haven't seen a movie in the theater since "A Wrinkle in Time," like two years ago.
@mvt2003 crossing everything for your betas on Thursday, my dear friend!! @kpearse99 sorry AF is taking her time. Go figure, huh? @abarr723 I was really nervous about doing the trigger shot (I can't even watch when they take blood for bloodwork) but it was not bad at all! A little pinch, then done. Let us know how it goes! @inthewoods23 glad your PCP agreed to run a food allergy panel. I hope the next 5 weeks FLY by! @misshelen86 I am glad your H is feeling better and that you guys were able to have a good talk about gow you're feeling. @nitnat007 FX you stay healthy!! @feather_heather I am so sorry that you are feeling so frustrated. It truly sucks when our bodies go rogue even when we're doing everything we are supposed to.
Got a voicemail from my IF clinic, I have to go in tomorrow AM for another round of bloodwork and ultrasound. My veins did NOT want to cooperate today, so they better behave tomorrow. I guess I have two good measurable follies that are almost there, and then a few smaller ones. Here's hoping they'll be perfect and mature when it's go-time! Also, my dog is doing ok. DH was so worried, he asked to take a half day at work so he could be home with her. He's been texting me all day and said she's eating/drinking normally and hasn't had any accidents. Hopefully she won't be peeing as much and this isn't anything serious. Obviously googling it has NOT helped calm us down.
@mvt2003 I'm glad you and YH had the conversation and that you feel more understood by him. It's a hard thing to get on the same page about but it sounds like you're pretty much there. Good luck Thursday!
@nitnat007 yikes about your FIL! And I hope you don't get sick- seems like your cocktail of meds could easily be causing headaches.
@feather_heather I'm sorry your progesterone was low despite PIO, could that be a timing issue? Hope the biopsy results get you some answers.
@kpearse99 I hope AF makes her way to you soon or that you figure out what's going on. Thanks for the playlist! I love it.
@emeraldduchess Glad you and YH got some quality time in, hope your doggy just drank too much water and doesn't have a UTI. I haven't seen the Downton Abbey movie yet but I rewatched all six seasons in anticipation!
@inthewoods23 Wow, it's great to hear about a PCP who takes you seriously about gluten. I feel like so many of them pish posh it. These next five weeks are going to fly by!
@misshelen86 Glad YH's surgery went well and that he opened up. I hope it was cathartic for both of you.
@abarr723 The trigger shot is soooo tiny, it's really nothing! My IUIs weren't painful at all, and my RE has me rest with my pelvis elevated for 15 minutes afterwards, she says it probably doesn't help but it also can't hurt. And yes, the leakage isn't semen.
@pom9207 GL on day 6 results! Glad you have more that were able to freeze.
@mvt2003 Glad you’re feeling more optimistic! FX for Thursday!!!
@nitnat007 FX that sickness stays far away from you!
@feather_heather Hope the biopsy results hurry up for you & yield some answers! My PIO dose is 50mg, which makes for a 1 ML dose once it is drawn up into the syringe. There have been a couple of cycles where my RE or RI has upped the dose to 2 ML per day. It can’t hurt.
@kpearse99 Hope your cycle regulates soon & the bloating goes away! Bring on the NTNP!
@emeraldduchess What a relief re: the convo w YH and your dog feeling better!
@inthewoods23Too funny about trying to remember the movie. We are the same way-barely ever watch movies in the theater anymore.
@misshelen86 Hugs to you & DH! It’s such a tough road. Hope he’s healing well!
@abarr723 Best of luck with the shot tonight, you got this!
@pom9207 Sorry that the results weren’t what you hoped for, but FX that the 3 frozen are perfect little em babies! Hoping you get good news about Day 6 developments!
@looeeze I also had heart palps when starting some of my IF meds. Each time they only lasted a day or so and then regulated. I haven’t been on BC for many years bc the pills always made me have heart palps no matter what kind or dose. My doc said I wasn’t a candidate & could be one of those who has a stroke or worse from BC. You may want to talk to your RE about the fact that progesterone causes the issues. For me it was estrogen.
I will come back later with my own update. Nothing has changed since last week: my RE hasn’t gotten back to me with what my MRI results mean for sure or whether I for sure need surgery. She’s having her own family emergency so I’m trying to just sit tight.
Hi friends! Some happy updates today! 4 more embryos made it to testing today! I am over the moon The gradings are (day 5) 4AA, 4AA, 5BB; (day 6) 5AA, 5AB, 6BA, 4CC
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): IUI #3, BCP, PNV, coQ10, baby aspirin, vitamin D, folate, Letrozole, dexamethosone, gonal f, estrace, estradiol patch, mucinex, ovidrel, progesterone
How are things going?: I am okay, super hopeful for this cycle, but feel lots of pressure with all the meds and timing. It has been a bit of nightmare to get all the meds in time after the ultrasound results. So I have been having some emotional breakdowns about it all. Yesterday’s ultrasound showed my lining to be only at 6 (ideal is 8), but two follies at 16 mm, and one is on my right! Trigger is set for Wed, IUI on Friday.
Any questions?: Between all the estrace, estradiol patch and Letrozole and gonal f, I am wondering how that effects the second half of my cycle. Does creating such a high during the first two weeks cause the progesterone to shoot up, or stay low? Just wondering about cause and effect of so many meds.
GTKY: What was the last movie you saw in the theaters? Little Women and I cried so many times during it.
@pom9207 Yay for such a great Day 6 report and gradings!
@keikilove Sending you well wishes, it can’t be easy waiting.
@emeraldduchess Hope the pup is doing okay! And gl on the ultrasound today! Sounds like we will be TWW buddies!
@looeeze Wow ER! Hope you are feeling better! I have no answers about heart palpitations, but the meds are no joke about all the side effects.
@abarr723 Way to go with the trigger! GL with the IUI, I am just days behind you. I usually have some slight cramping the day of, but other than that nothing noticeable. My doc recommends fresh pineapple and pomegranate for the first few days following IUI (as kind of an old wives tale) but i love them both so I make it a special treat. Take it easy and plan lots of TLC for your TWW!
@misshelen86 It sounds like you and YH had some good connection time. Sorry his healing is going slowly. Hope it gets better soon!
@mvt2003 Sending all the warm fuzzy thoughts and vibes for Thursday!
@nitnat007 Less than 2 weeks! Down that vitamin C! I am disinfecting our house daily to try to keep the germs at bay, so tired of all the colds!
@kpearse99 Hope AF shows up soon, but glad to hear you are finally starting to feel like you can relax a bit. Hope you are getting some quality TLC!
@inthewoods23 That is great that you are seeing some results from the diet change! Hopefully that is translating into a healthier place for your transfer too! FX for you!
@feather_heather Hope you get your results soon! FWIW as much as I love to understand the why of things, my RE is good at reminding me that we don’t really always need to know why, just to treat it. So if it is low progesterone, than the easy answer is to up the meds. Not ideal, I understand, but the goal is so short term (getting the right levels just for this cycle) that it may not be worth the effort of solving for long term. It’s not my nature and not how I prefer to handle things, but it does help me focus on the here and now rather than trying to solve all the issues. Hope it helps you too! It is so frustrating that it is always a game of catch up to what our crazy bodies decide to throw at us for that cycle.
@pom9207 that's wonderful news! @abarr723 way to go with the trigger shot. Don't you feel great after it's done? @ramzlau we will definitely be TWW buddies. We can try to keep each other sane. 😁 Thanks for asking about my dog. She made it through the night without waking up to go out, but did have an accident in the kitchen. We think it might be her age, since she's 11. @keikilove love sending you hugs. I hope you hear from your RE soon. 💜 @looeeze whoa, those are strong side effects! I get itching and hot flashes but not palpitations.
@keikilove Thinking of you and hope that you get results soon.
@ramzlau It feels like everywhere I turn someone else is sick. Why are people spreading it around? Stay at home if you are not well! Lysol and Vit C are definitely my friends right now. FX your lining does some catching up over the next couple days. GL!
*lurking* hi ladies! Sorry I'm MIA again, it's our busiest week at work so I'm desperately just trying to keep my head above water. Woke up with a cold sore so that's my body's way of telling me that I'm stressed AF even if I'm in denial about it.
@pom9207 that's such great news about your embies. FX for great PGT results! I did an HCG trigger not lupron but I did get AF within 6 days of my transfer and it was heavy, I thought I was dying. I was told that is normal.
TTC History:
Me: 36 MH: 39, TTC since Dec 2017

@nitnat007 thank you! Same here, I don’t understand why people just spread sickness around... every time someone in my office area cough I got panicked👀
@kiki047 thank you! And thanks for sharing your experience; good to know I am not the only one whose AF is being brutal after ER!
@ramzlau I'm not sure about how all those meds interact with each other but my hunch is that none of those interactions would increase progesterone in the TWW. FX that your lining catches up, seems like there's enough time left for it to thicken.
@keikilove Thanks! My RE said that none of my meds should be causing heart stuff. I have read that estrogen does it but I'm not on any. Sorry you had it happen on BC, that must've been scary.
@nitnat007 They said to keep an eye on it and if it gets worse, to go back in. And in the meantime, talk to my PCP. Pretty standard ER instructions.
Biopsy results came back normal - no endometritis, no abnormal cells
The nurse that called is going to talk with my doctor this week, but she is thinking of trying a modified cryo cycle using gonal-f to grow follicles, trigger shot, then estrace, endometrium, and PIO before transfer. She's thinking that maybe if my body can work on producing it's own estrogen and progesterone alongside of getting it from the outside, my body may respond better.
@feather_heather I'm glad your biopsy came back normal, but I am so sorry you didn't get any answers.
AFM, the RE cancelled my IUI because according to today's scan, my follicles are shrinking and I already surged. WTAF?? And DH didn't want to HIO last night because he was too worried about the dog. I am so freakin' sick of my body going rogue.
@feather_heather ugh, sorry you didn't get any good answers! Did the biopsy include checking the timing of the transfer? Sounds like they're trying to work the cycle like a fresh transfer?

@emeraldduchess that sounds like what happened with me on my first medicated cycle back in August. My follies were great on CD12 and then CD14 they were smaller and CD15 or 16 they were smaller again. I completely understand the feelings you are having right now, friend.
@feather_heather It's so wonderful that everything was normal, but it sucks so much to not have answers for anything. I get it. BUT I think it's great that they have this new plan that they want to try.

@emeraldduchess - Ughh I'm so sorry! The same thing happened to me for my 2nd IUI, except I didn't end up ovulating until CD36. The only upside is that I think we live in the same state, and my insurance counted the cancelled IUI as one of the 3 failed IUI's needed to move onto IVF.
@inthewoods23 - They didn't end up doing the ERA testing because my lining wasn't responding, but they did a test for endometrial dating. The nurse didn't mention it today, but I'm guessing since she didn't mention it I was within the normal range? She had mentioned trying a natural transfer cycle, but quickly changed her mind when I reminded her that I do not ovulate on any regular schedule and it would be a nightmare to monitor.
@kpearse99 - I'm just glad it seemed like my plea's for a different protocol are being taken seriously now!
@feather_heather maybe I'm a little confused... How is the ERA different from the endometrial dating?

@emeraldduchess Ugh I am so sorry for the cancelled IUI. That is so frustrating! Are they going to have you trigger to at least keep the cycle going rather than an anovulatory cycle? Would it be worth HIO if you think you did ovulate because it can take up to 36 hours after ovulation for egg to be ready for fertilization?
@feather_heather Well, good results are a good thing. I hope that now that they have checked their boxes on tests they will be creative for you on this next cycle.
@ramzlau they said that I am ovulating right now, so no trigger. They told us to HIO tonight, tomorrow and Thursday. So there is a teeny tiny sliver of hope I guess. But I am going to be realistic and assume it's not going to happen. @feather_heather I think we do live in the same state. I don't know if our insurance will count this cancelled IUI as a failure and give us the green light for IVF or not. We have to make an appointment with our RE first.
Re: IF Testing & Treatment w/o 2/24
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TWW
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): IVF
How are things going?: I'm hanging in there - I'm very anxious for beta to know what's happening in there
We actually had a conversation last night, about who knows what about this cycle, and who gets told what, which I think was really helpful.

Diagnosis (if you've been): AMA, MFI (low morph, acrosome defect)
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): FET

@nitnat007 yay! So happy the PIO got worked out!
Diagnosis (if you've been): unexplained, maybe gluten issue
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WFFET

No
GTKY: What was the last movie you saw in the theatres? It’s been a while.. I think it was Captain Marvel

What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): tonight is the night I am triggering! IUI Wednesday Morning! 😬😬
How are things going?: things are going pretty okay. I am nervous about my trigger injection tonight, I've been giving myself pep talks since yesterday about it lol. It's weird that i have no problem jabbing other people with needles and I'm freaking out about doing my own!
Any questions?: anyone who's had an IUI, any tips for me?!

GL!

Ahhh what your FIL did was just unacceptable... I hope YH called him to never do that again...
@feather_heather Hope the biopsy result comes back with some answers and your RE will be able to come up with plans to address any issue, if there are
@kpearse99 ohhh sorry about the wonky cycle. Come on already, AF!
My suggestion for IUI would be wear a pad afterwards
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): Technically in the first half of 2WW 😆, but I also just got my period yesterday

@kpearse99 sorry AF is taking her time. Go figure, huh?
@abarr723 I was really nervous about doing the trigger shot (I can't even watch when they take blood for bloodwork) but it was not bad at all! A little pinch, then done.
@inthewoods23 glad your PCP agreed to run a food allergy panel. I hope the next 5 weeks FLY by!
@misshelen86 I am glad your H is feeling better and that you guys were able to have a good talk about gow you're feeling.
@nitnat007 FX you stay healthy!!
@emeraldduchess What a relief re: the convo w YH and your dog feeling better!
The gradings are (day 5) 4AA, 4AA, 5BB; (day 6) 5AA, 5AB, 6BA, 4CC

@looeeze whoa, those are strong side effects! I get itching and hot flashes but not palpitations.
@looeeze Oh my goodness! How scary. What have they recommended for treatment? Is it just something that you will have to monitor and be aware of?
@emeraldduchess GL today! FX for good veins and good news.
GL!
@pom9207 that's such great news about your embies. FX for great PGT results! I did an HCG trigger not lupron but I did get AF within 6 days of my transfer and it was heavy, I thought I was dying. I was told that is normal.

@nitnat007 They said to keep an eye on it and if it gets worse, to go back in. And in the meantime, talk to my PCP. Pretty standard ER instructions.
AFM, the RE cancelled my IUI because according to today's scan, my follicles are shrinking and I already surged. WTAF?? And DH didn't want to HIO last night because he was too worried about the dog. I am so freakin' sick of my body going rogue.

@feather_heather It's so wonderful that everything was normal, but it sucks so much to not have answers for anything. I get it.

11/1/2020 - At peace with where things are in life and are no long actively TTC. Whatever happens will happen and it will all be okay.

@feather_heather Well, good results are a good thing. I hope that now that they have checked their boxes on tests they will be creative for you on this next cycle.
@feather_heather I think we do live in the same state. I don't know if our insurance will count this cancelled IUI as a failure and give us the green light for IVF or not. We have to make an appointment with our RE first.
