  • Ugh this benched situation is starting to annoy me. It's only like 6 weeks more but still feels dumb to be putting any energy or headspace into avoiding something that it really doesn't seem is going to happen for us without help. I was thinking I O'd yesterday or this week, and we HIO last night but used protection. Afterwards I was just like, seriously?? We already know I'm not going to get KU, why are we trying to NOT get KU. The Zika thing seems pretty overly cautious to begin with since there aren't even any current cases where we were, plus....uh, we're not fertile! Plus this morning CM didn't particularly seem like it would if I was around ovulation so don't even know if that was really an issue. Whatever, it's just annoying!

  • @whitealbum29 agreed on the Zika thing. @b_1029 was in the same situation last year when her DH went to a Zika area and they were benched for a few months. It's such a weird headspace to be in. I hope the 6 weeks go by quickly for you.

I'm sorry you broke down with the ladies at the RE, it is SO hard to mark time by other people's pregnancies while TTC. I'm so glad they were sweet to you and I hope it was at least a bit cathartic! Hugs to you!

  • @mvt2003 This is so exciting! Rest well & FX for a smooth Monday!

    @nitnat007 Hope the FET prepping goes well & that it leads to a prefect outcome!

    @feather_heather So sorry that the lining disappointment has continued. I hope the biopsy yields some helpful info!

    @kpearse99 Glad to hear you’re doing ok, my friend, but I’m still so sorry about the bfn. I hope that taking some time off helps you both.💕 And Sorry for the breakdown at the RE’s office. It’s so hard.

    @emeraldduchess Same here w no emotions at the sight of a bfn. It’s self-preservation, I think... Have the most wonderful relaxing winter break!

    @bluetickgal Sorry for the bfn. Hopefully the next steps are the right steps.

    @pom9207 Welcome back! So much has happened since we last heard from you—exciting!!

    @ramzlau So glad everything seems to be resolving with the cyst situation! And thank you for your supportive words last week. I never got a chance to respond after posting (so lame!!) but I really appreciated you recommending using the benched time to do things we can’t normally do. I drank some mimosas, ate some rich food, and may actually paint my nails with chemicals, hahaha! (I haven’t done my nails with any polish in a whole year.)

    @abarr723 Hope all the testing went well this week!

    @kiki047 Glad things started moving along. I always think of you as the poster child for a cycle that runs like clockwork. SO so sorry for the fake-out & crushing bfn.♥️

    @whitealbum29 Sounds like you’re making headway with all the important initial testing. Glad to hear the waiting is going by faster than you expected.

    @inthewoods23 Congrats on the increased Vit D levels!!!🌞 and Hoping the new diet also does the trick for you!

    Hope I didn’t miss anyone!

    @ramzlau  yay! That's awesome!!!

    @kpearse99 so nice that the Phlebs were so kind and supportive of you and allowed you to blow off a little steam!

    @keikilove I hope you get your results soon!  I hate waiting around. And of course it's Friday, so now you won't hear anything til Monday! 😒

    AFM: had the sono this morning. My fears were confirmed, and as suspected I do have a polyp. The RE told me to continue with this cycle as planned. However I should plan on having it removed if I don't get pregnant, especially if I must move forward with IVF. I'm stressed about it. What happens if I do end up pregnant, can a polyp increase my risk of miscarriage?! Of course I came up with a bunch of questions after I left the office. And I can't even spend Valentines with DH, we both worked today, and he's working a double so he won't be home til almost 8am. Ugh. 😞
