@abarr723 I had a polyp/thickening that was discovered during my SHG. My RE told me to TTA until it was removed because it could increase the risk of miscarriage, however if your RE is telling you to move forward maybe it is smaller? I would definitely ask them all of your questions, and I’d call if you can versus email. My RE office doesn’t really do phone calls and it was frustrating when they wouldn’t totally answer my question via email and I’ve had to email again to clarify. Feel free to PM me with any questions!
@abarr723 Sorry to hear about the polyp. Hope they get back to you with answers soon!
@keikilove Happy to hear you got some extra TLC! But dang girl on more diagnosis. I hope it brings answers not more hurdles. Hugs because the waiting for answers sucks.
@kpearse99 Sorry I posted and ghosted yesterday so I missed your post about the cyst. When you had the delayed AF after failed IUI same as me I was worried about that. I had the same thoughts of did the gonal f cause it because it was the new thing for me that cycle. Most people I have asked have said likely no, it is just something that happens. Which come to think of it usually my cycle is off about 1x a year, which makes me wonder if those were cyst cycles. Cysts are common, and normally go undetected unless you are living under a microscope (or ultrasound wand in our case). I hate that it is adding an additional unplanned 2 weeks to your NTNP, but I am hoping for both of us that it might be our bodies way to reset all the hormones that have been thrown at it. Hope you go to enjoy your Valentines Day and that the time passes quickly!
@kpearse99 I am so sorry about the cyst, friend. It seriously amazes me how often our bodies decide to go rogue.
AFM, had my baseline today and I start letrozole tomorrow morning. If I get the green light to trigger after my follow up on the 23rd, then IUI will probably be on the 25th (coincidentally DH's and my 14th dating anniversary...whoa). @kiki047 I think DH's waffling on IVF is because there is no guarantee of a THB. Our copays won't be a whole lot (probably only about $3000 out of pocket when all is said and done) and I personally think it doesn't make sense NOT to take advantage of coverage that many, many people don't have. We also live in a state that has some of the best places for reproductive medicine. I think you're right that there is the emotional piece but he'll never admit it. @abarr723 yikes, I am so sorry about the polyp. I hope you can get some answers soon and a plan to move forward.
@kpearse99 ugh sorry about the cyst... I have also read about clomid cycles tend to develop cysts more often. I hope the NTNP month helps both physically and mentally.
@emeraldduchess That’s great IVF coverage! I hope this IUI is a success so you don’t need IVF though
AFM, today’s follicle check after 7 days of stimming went well! I have 15 follicles that are >15mm. E2 at 4026. My doctor wanted to have me stim for one more day, so some smaller follicles at around 12-13mm get a chance.
I am glad that I didn’t order all 10 days worth of drugs at once. On a side note, Alto pharmacy is awesome! I ditched the pharmacy my insurance works with — Avella and chose to pay OOP using Alto, and I couldn’t be happier about this decision. They even do same day delivery on weekends.
I am heading in to the office tomorrow morning to see if I could trigger. If so, Tuesday will be my ER day. 😱 I am so excited but also scared!
@keikilove i just hate that you’ve been hit with yet another thing. You’ve already had so much thrown at you, why something else?! I have all the faith that you will conquer this too, as you’re already a freaking goddess and warrior. I hope this weekend has been good to you. 💓
@ramzlau I know that it’s pretty common to get cysts but Clomid does increase your chances of getting them, so I do believe it played a part in this. It’s okay though, I let myself feel all the feels and now I’ve decided to look at it as an extra two weeks of taking a break with MH and letting my body totally reset. I think it’s a sign confirming that a break is just what we needed.

@kpearse99 Thank you so much, my friend. You are too sweet.💗 I’m hanging in there and trying to not go overboard in my thoughts until I hear something definitive from my RE. And I’m so sorry to read about your cyst! That’s stinks! Hopefully the time off will resolve it no problem.
@emmasemm Thank you for the quick response!! I feel like I put out a call to Superman and he (you) showed up within minutes.😊❤️
@pom9207 I am impressed with your knowledge of DQalpha matching causing implantation failure! I did ask my RI about it but she said that the treatment for it is the same as what we are already doing so no need to test. My history definitely lines up with the theory so I wouldn’t be surprised if that is the root of our issue. (Or one of the issues!)
@bows22 thank you so Much! I may be messaging you soon! She did say it was small, but it had to go, especially if I were to end up needing to move on to IVF.
