@b_1029 I guess it makes sense that your natural O cycle/timing would still be similar... I usually O late (or not at all apparently!)

That Peggy distracted me from my other responses today, yikes.
@hanshotfirst77 thank you. You guys are my people. I'd be lost without you. @mvt2003 I've been fighting some extreme tooth sensitivity after having some dental work done a few weeks ago and I think I can finally stand the cold again, which is good because I'm eating ice cream even if it kills me. @bobbyflies2020 hey welcome back. Sorry to hear the surgery was tough, and that your Mom and Sis aren't being super supportive. But hope this is your last stop on your way to IVF so you can move forward with your plan. @shoogapoff ugh, no, not a cyst. I hope this doesn't mean you're out, when will you know more? @kpearse99 that's really weird about your temps being so high in the mornings. It's definitely not normal. Dunno if your RE will have anything to say about it, mine was pretty indifferent about me tracking BBT but it doesn't hurt to ask. I hope the timing works out for your cycle this month, FX for you!!
ETA: I came across this in my memories and it made me think of you guys.

@kiki047 that is the cutest thing ever!!!! I smiled so hard Also, I have a feeling my RE is going to ask me why I'm tracking when that's his job and that he'll tell me to stop stressing!

@NYTino24 I am so sorry about the BFN. So many hugs. This rollercoaster sucks so much! @hanshotfirst77 eeeek! Your FET is so close!! Hope the time flies by! @jennifer_louise safe travels! Of course we can be IUI buddies. @inthewoods23 I'm sorry you and your H had such a bad fight. It sounds like you worked through it though and will be stronger for it. @kpearse99 I get what you mean about no good shows. Either I'm too old for it (lookin at you, "Legally Blonde") or it's something I can't do because I'm a teacher and I'd be mortified if students saw it or even saw pictures (like "Cabaret"). I wish we lived near each other, then we could go audition for stuff together. @mvt2003 I'm sorry to find you here, but glad you're taking steps forward. Since we're located somewhat close to each other, I'm happy to share any info about where I've had procedures done or give you the name of my RE (she has offices in a few locations).
Be back later for more tags. Gotta get my butt to the gym!
Finally getting back on to tag.... and update that I am officially cancelled this cycle. They said the cyst (which was 27 mm) might be leftover from my follicles, or could be caused by clomid? Maybe? They didn't offer much in the way of explanation, but just said it'll probably be gone by next cycle, so call them back on my next CD1.
I talked to MH when I got home and we agreed to take this cycle "off", meaning we'll still HIO around the right time, but I'm not obsessing, might not even temp. I just need a mental break. Also, I talked to my RE's nurse about the communication issues. She gave me her direct line for questions during business hours and told me who to call after hours. I feel better on that front.
@keikilove I tend to O on CD 10 or 11. I'm not sure if it's bad or not yet, but FWIW, you're not alone in that. How often are you going for acupuncture? Do you like it? I'm thinking I might add that in soon.
@b_1029 Yay for having good follies! FX so hard for you. Glad you had a good response to that medication/dosage.
@bobbyflies2020 I'm sorry your surgery was worse than expected. I'm glad you have a plan moving forward, and friends who "get it". It makes a really big difference!
@NYTino24 I'm sorry about the BFN. Hopefully things go smoothly with your next cycle and IUI!
@emeraldduchess Glad to see you back! But definitely understand about needing time away. I'm probably not going to post much this month. I love you ladies, but I need to not let this consume me.
@jennifer_louise Have so much fun in Morocco! To answer your question on the HSG, I didn't spot very much after mine, but I heard that it's normal. Sorry that's not much help!
@inthewoods23 I'm glad you and YH were able to have that honest conversation. TTC is such a weird journey that we take both on our own and yet also with our SO. I have been guilty of assuming I knew how MH felt about aspects of TTC, and then been surprised when he's revealed what he's really feeling.
@mvt2003 MH and I were in a similar boat of not telling anyone about our trouble TTC until after testing was done. But we haven't really told people specifically what we found out, just that we're seeing a fertility specialist. It's amazing how little people actually want to know (not that I've told a ton of them). They're mostly satisfied with me saying we're having trouble and that we're trying different things. I'm sure someone will ask an insensitive question at some point, but it hasn't happened yet, FWIW.
@misshelen86 I'm so glad you finally have an appointment date! For my first appointment, they did labs and an ultrasound, just to make sure it looked like my uterus and ovaries were structurally normal. FX for great results and a solid plan moving forward!
Beta today. BFN again last night, but temp is still up and no AF yet thanks to progesterone. 10 vials of blood this morning for RPL testing, which should give us results in a week. That’s also when we get the Sema4 results. I’m gonna try to get back for tags later, but I have a meeting on my prep and it’s Back to School Night so that means a 14 hour day.

@emeraldduchess our theatre is doing Cabaret too!! But it's with a company that I've heard not so great things from... over the same weekend as the dance studio that I teach at's dance recital so I can't do it. I wish we lived closer too - that would be so fun!!
@shoogapoff ugh I'm sorry you can't move forward with the plans this cycle but I think you have the right idea to take this cycle "off" and give yourself a break from it all.
@NYTino24 good luck with the betas!!!! I hope back to school night goes smoothly for you!

@misshelen86 I am able to exercise now as long as I stay on top of my pain meds, which is helping a lot. Waiting is so hard. Honestly, I am in the same boat. October 10 feels so far away, but I need this time to get caught up on all of the supplements my doctor expects me to be on! 😜

@misshelen86 that's great that your appointment was moved up! It must feel so good to know that you're a step closer to answers and a plan. @kiki047 I am so sorry about AF. So many hugs to you. @shoogapoff I hope this mini-break helps you and your H! @bobbyflies2020 I'm glad you're on the mend from your surgery. That really sucks that your mom and sister weren't supportive. I'm so proud of you for sharing your journey to raise awareness! @keikilove I hope acupuncture helps! I haven't tried it but my cousin did and she really liked it.
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Waiting for cycle to start to schedule SHG. I have a few more days of Provera, so hopefully AF will arrive by early next week!
How are things going?: Pretty good, just “trying” to patiently await my cycle to start so we can get going again on this TTC journey.
I always think of this when I use or see quotes!
Any questions?: None right now.
GTKY: What’s a great GTKY that we should do (or do again)? Oh, I like some of the ones you all have mentioned...how you met your SO, never have I ever, superlatives, pet peeves, and what is one thing you would splurge on.
I’m going to come back later for tags, but wanted to say good luck to @b_1029 on your IUI today!! Hoping so hard this is it for you!! 💜
@bobbyflies2020 10/10 sounds like a good day to me! Hopefully it’s a lucky one.
AFM, I want to hide from the world. I don’t want to hear about or see any more pregnancy announcements or bumps. I hate feeling this way. Can’t watch tv or movies or listen to the radio or go anywhere without it being in my face.

@bluetickgal Fx AF is coming soon so you can move forward!
@NYTino24 Hugs For some reason I feel like I see bumps and babies on tv and movies so much more often now. Or maybe I just notice it more now. Either way it sucks.

@bluetickgal I'm hoping so hard everyday for you that AF arrives so that you can just move on already!! It's gotta be soon!
AFM - Just got back from my monitoring appointment. So far everything is looking great and right on track... it just needs to keep moving forward now (unlike last cycle!). I have nice sized follies on my right side (16mm, 15mm and 13mm) and a bunch of little ones on my left side. So it's looking like the 16mm and 15mm will be the winners, as long as they keep growing! My lining is doing better than it was this time last cycle and is at 7mm thick (it was only at 5mm thick last time on CD12) So I feel really good about that! Now I wait for them to call me this afternoon with what the blood work shows and the RE's instructions but I'll likely go back in on Friday to see where we are at and then if all looks the way it should the IUI could be Sunday morning! The timing should all work out then, DH is supposed to fly back home Sunday morning but he'll change his flight to Saturday evening if he has to! Gah, ladies I'm so so SO nervous that my body is going to repeat itself with what it did last cycle and that my follies will just stop growing and end up "shrinking" back down in size. But I'm trying really hard to rid myself of those thoughts as I am on a higher dose of the Letrozole so technically things should work better. My goal for this month is just to O!

@kpearse99 FX this is your cycle! Keep growing follies! There’s a good chance the higher letrozole is just what you need. Keep reminding yourself this is a new month and you are doing something different this time. Sending you all the positive vibes.

@kpearse99 those follies sound great! Fx they keep on growing! I try to remind myself that this time can be different. It's hard sometimes but just keep reminding yourself that it has every chance of being different. You got this!
@misshelen86 and @hanshotfirst77 thank you ladies for those thoughts/reminders! I always forget to tell myself those things or to think of things from that perspective (for myself anyway) so I really needed to hear those things! You're both so right - it's a new cycle and I'm doing things differently so there could 100% be a different outcome.

I felt the same way last cycle. It's heartbreaking when it seems like everyone around you (including fictional characters!) has what you want. *TW* Since we started TTC, at least 10 friends and family members have gotten KU and had their babies. Big WTF to the universe on that. Even though we're happy for them, it does make us sad and wonder if we'll ever have our turn. Edit: wasn't done and hit post instead of save. Oops.
Thanks all for the well wishes! I’m laying in the exam room after the IUI (clearly on TB killing time). DH’s numbers were good- after the wash his count was like 16 mil and they went from a “B- slow/sluggish” to A/B after the wash so hopefully the speedy ones find their way to the egg(s) haha. They noted his sample was “gelatinous” before the wash which can make it more difficult to get KU, so all in all I’m feeling positive. Let’s see how long that lasts 😂
@NYTino24 I'm so sorry you're feeling inundated with all that. It sucks to not even be able to watch TV in peace without being blindsided by an announcement. I feel ya. Hugs!
@b_1029 FX so hard for you! Positive vibes coming your way!
@kpearse99 You got this! Im struggling too with feeling like I can't have a cycle that doesn't get cancelled, after 2 failed attempts. But we CAN! And we WILL! Your numbers sound great! Sending positive vibes your way as well!
@b_1029 ahhhhh I'm so excited for you!!!!!! Eeeek!!!
@shooganoff - you are totally right... we CAN and we WILL!!

@NYTino24 so sorry for the negative beta and all the triggers!! It stinks when you literally can’t avoid them no matter what you are doing! Hope you get some answers from your RPL testing! Sending hugs! 💜
@emeraldduchess I’m so happy you are back and feel better about everything! Glad you are taking the time for self-care...and I hope your cold goes away soon! I’ve got everything crossed that this is your cycle!
@keikilove fingers crossed for your IUI this week! So sorry for the negative thoughts/dreams...those can be a major bummer!
@jennifer_louise I’m guessing I may have missed you, but I hope you have an awesome time on your trip!! Glad the HSG went well, but oh dear...glad you don’t have a hole in your ute! ☺️
@inthewoods23 so sorry about he fight with YH...that’s so sad/sweet about the symbolism he was feeling though!! Glad you were able to talk it all out and feel better now! Hope AF comes for you soon and doesn’t ruin your time and your friend’s wedding! RPL testing for me was for different lipids, lupus coagulant, thyroid, prolactin, and glycoprotein antibodies (I’m not a science person, so I don’t really know what any of that is)...the RE explained all of them and the percentage chance of each thing being a factor. I have a sheet at home I can send if you are interested...it laid it all out very nicely. I’d say if the RE has offered to meet & discuss with you, it might be nice to get a better understanding of it all. Fingers crossed you get some answers with your testing and get your Fall baby!!
@hanshotfirst77 your FET is so close!! Fingers crossed so hard for you!!! 💜
@mvt2003 glad you and YH have been discussing how much to share and when! I really feel like you have to do what is best for you! We have decided not to share with family at all...but that has led to a couple random comments that likely wouldn’t have happened if they had known! I hope people are respectful of your privacy & feelings with the questions they ask!
@misshelen86 I’m so excited that your RE appt got moved up! It’s so close now! We just talked at the first appt, and then had blood drawn...no US.
@kiki047 so sorry for CD1 and the doom & gloom feeling...sending you all the hugs & ice cream!! I hope you enjoy every second of your honeymoon!! 🏝
@kpearse99 I’m so glad your follies & lining are looking good! Fingers crossed timing works out perfectly for your IUI on Sunday!! Sending so many positive vibes that this is your cycle!
@bobbyflies2020 so sorry the surgery was harder than expected!! Hope your HSG on 10/10 looks good and you can move forward with IVF! Sorry your mom & sister haven’t been supportive, but that’s good you have a group of friends that get it!!
@shoogapoff so sorry this cycle got cancelled! 😕 I hope the cyst is gone by next cycle and you can move forward! Glad you got to talk to the nurse about the communication issues, so hopefully that won’t be an issue in the future!
@b_1029 glad the IUI went well and numbers improved! Fingers crossed so hard that this is it!!
I hope I didn’t miss anyone!! One of these weeks, I won’t get so behind on this thread!
Lining check this morning, RE says lining looks great for transfer! So unless my bloodwork comes back with something bad we are all systems go for FET on 10/4! 8 days!
@hanshotfirst77 Yay that’s great news!! FX everything comes back ok with bloodwork. 8 days is so close!

@hanshotfirst77 11 days!! So exciting!

@misshelen86 I am able to exercise now as long as I stay on top of my pain meds, which is helping a lot. Waiting is so hard. Honestly, I am in the same boat. October 10 feels so far away, but I need this time to get caught up on all of the supplements my doctor expects me to be on! 😜

@kiki047 I am so sorry about AF.
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): TTA - Benched
@emeraldduchess thank you! ❤️
@bluetickgal I hope AF comes quickly for you! Also, thank you
@misshelen86 Yay for a sooner appointment!
